The organisation promotes the planting of native trees to restore Zimbabwe’s lost indigenous forests. They also plant fruit trees to curb food insecurity and promote nutrition as well as protection of existing forests through education and awareness.

Natalie Mangondo is an environmentalist (representing Zimbabwe at the pre-Cop26 youth climate change conference to be held in Milan, Italy).

Visual artist from Ivory Coast. He transforms discarded flip flops he picks from the beach, into artifacts by turning them into large collages. His painting are worth up to US$1,000. His work has been exhibited in his country and overseas. 

On this episode we are joined by our guest Gloria Kamoto, who is the 2021 Goldman Environmental Prize Recipient for Africa. She won the prize in recognition of her fight against the manufacture and distribution of single use plastic, in her native Malawi.
