#5 - Labor's $10 billion housing bill, lacklustre whistleblower protections and Israel's woes

We have a look at the fallout from the NSW election. Joel weighs up the Greens' reluctance to green light the Albanese government's $10 billion dollar social housing bill. Ellie talks press freedom and the dire consequences that can face whistleblowers whether or not what they disclose is in the public interest. Jason examines the Israeli protests and general strike; what's next for Netanyahu? Prison? Dictator for life? It's looking increasingly like it has to be one or the other.

#4 - Submarine cash splash, Putin on the lam, and unaccountable cops

This week we try to make sense of the incredible amount of money to be spent on submarines. Porter has a deep dive into Putin's ICC arrest warrant. While Ellie puts Victoria police under the microscope and wonders if there is enough accountability.

Is $368 billion dollars too much to spend on submarines?

How soon until we see Putin in The Hague?

Can the police be trusted to police themselves?

Will Labor beat the odds and come out of the NSW political wilderness?

Find out the answers to these questions and more on this week's Edge of the Election.

After the Prime Ministers' debate on Wednesday night, Jacqui, Rory and Joel break down all the big questions. The room determined a win for Antony Albanese but did we read it the same way? With a mix of blunders and good answerers from both candidates did anyone really win? Does the debate actually matter, did anyone watch the debate? All of these questions are addressed.
