Jared Herzog: Growing Pains & Necessary Change
Jared Herzog is a singer-songwriter originally from the beautiful panhandle of Florida. Growing up on gospel and worship music, Jared became influenced by the smooth, emotional melodies and joined the choral and ensemble groups in his school and church. In these groups, he competed in the highest levels of state and carried his pursuit of music into his studies at Lee University.
Jared began his professional music career by gigging full time in the 30A (panhandle of Florida) area when Covid put a halt to his career in Nashville. It was in Florida that he met industry-leading producers, musicians, and managers, who prompted him to move back to Nashville. After spending some time in the music city, Jared realized just how unique of an area 30A Florida truly is, as it offers a place where he could make a much bigger name for himself while connecting with all the same executives from the Nashville area. After performing on Broadway in Nashville, as well as other downtown locations, Jared has just recently relocated to Blue Mountain Beach to continue his artistry in a greater way than ever before. Jared has drawn inspiration from John Mayer, Allen Stone, and Ed Sheehan over the years, but is now producing music that has it’s own pop-soul sound.
"You take the whole audience on a journey and that's what a performance is all about," said John Legend. “Many artists talk about how it feels when they connect with an audience, Jared knows only the joy of connectivity.”

CJ Finley encourages anyone with the right mindset and dedication to become an entrepreneur, and he can be followed on Instagram @cj.finley or visited on cjfinley.com, both of which promote his message of making every heartbeat count.

Your Rx: The Power of The Spiritual Journey
From Episode 91, my takeaways and key points with Dr. Ryan Livingston. He's an inspiring example of how it is possible to overcome limiting beliefs and feelings of self-doubt. This key takeaway explains how spirituality and religious faith can be connected and positively impact our lives. For example, prayer is an act of faith, not just a way of asking for help, and hyperbaric oxygen is proven to help heal cancer patients. It also suggests to not take life for granted, and to make every second count. It is important to maintain a strong connection to source and an amazing support network, set intentions, engage in spiritual and religious activities, and cultivate relationships. Additionally, it is encouraged to adopt practices of other religions and embrace love, as nobody is incurable. Finally, Dr. Livingston and his organization Forged Medical can be reached out to, both through Instagram and the website forgemedical.com.

Back again for another fantastic conversation. So thankful to have this incredible leader back on the show! Clay was on back in Season 2, Episode 57 and shared his incredible story.

Modern Masculinity with Luke Smith
Luke Smith is a man chasing the best version of himself. He is a former Army Ranger, but that is only part of his story. He never wanted to be the man that says, “I use to be…” He wants to love each day as he pursues that next mountain peak. Some days he win; and others he does not. However, he believes it is all about consistently pursuing his goals, one day at a time. He's confident that those incremental gains will get him to where he wants to be. I know this conversation with a real American hero and masculine warrior will inspire men to own their masculinity and use it in service of those in need.

Derrick Townsend: Transformed
I met Derrick several moons ago when he was down in New Orleans. He was featured in the media for having a morning grew of sprinters that ran the Superdome ramps...having bear crawled those during a GoRuck Challenge, I can't imagine running up them over and over. But he did it anyway. And let many others in a health and fitness routine that impacted may lives. Fast-forward to today, Derrick is back to talk about a part of his journey I believe we can all connect with...the pandemic. During that time, he suffered some setbacks in health and fitness; and he reached a point where he chose to make a change. And he successfully did. It was an overnight transformation. It took time, patience, and perseverance to return to the spirit of the man he knew he could once again become. You can follow his story on Instagram: @Derrick_NoLa
