Do you ever wonder if you will get there? - WSW S4 Ep 6
Happy Sunday Fam,
Hope you've had a great day so far? So on the show today I go solo. And yes I shared the story behind my song I WILL GET THERE. Do you ever wonder if you will get there? What does THERE look like to you? If you are sure of what it looks like, are you pressing on to getting there? Or are you allowing the pressures and the challenges dissuade you?
I am here to encourage you that you should never give up. God has got you covered. The fact that it's not been an easy journey does not mean that God has abandoned you, He is ever-present with you and He is grooming you for the great plans that He has for you. Be encouraged today and keep hope alive. Tell yourself I WILL GET THERE.
If you are yet to follow me on social media you definitely should cos WSW is going Live on YouTube and updates will be available on my Instagram page during the week.

WSW S4 Ep 5 - How fear stopped me for 15 solid years! NO MORE
“Of all the liars in the world, sometimes the worst are our own fears.”
— Rudyard Kipling
Welcome to today's episode of WSW Season four where we get to share the story behind a song. Today we feature @Nikkypebbles who recently released her debut song 15years after writing the song. She stated fear was one of the reasons she didn't do it. After several painful crises, God kept her alive. No better time than now to agree that She is a miracle as much as God is her miracle.
Be inspired by her story and know that no matter what you might be going through God is always near and He is mighty to save.

WSW- I HAVE EXCITING NEWS!!!
First of all, I give all the glory to my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, who is at work in me both to will and to do of His great pleasure. I am grateful for the grace and strength to keep going even in the face of several oppositions and life's negating circumstances.
Next, I want to thank YOU. Yes, you reading this text and also taking out time to listen to my podcast every week. I know you are busy and maybe you've only had the time to listen to an episode or two but thank you all the same for not stopping me from sending you my messages every week. That counts for something and I appreciate you for that. And for those times you've been able to listen to the actual podcast, gosh, I appreciate and celebrate you. God bless you real good.
I promise today's episode is super short. Just 5min and it's basically to announce the next season which I am sincerely excited about. I would like to ask for your continued support. As it means more people clicking on the link and listening to the podcast. That way you have supported a sister and also blessed a life.
God bless you. I love you, but remember that God loves you way more. You'd hear from me next week by God's grace. Until then, keep being amazing and have a productive week.

WSW - Dealing with Fear and Anxiety Responses
Happy Sunday and a happy new month. I am grateful for the gift of another month. It's so great that God has segmented our lives and existence into times and season which gives us the opportunity to start afresh if we so desire. It is the eighth month of the year and the number eight signifies new beginnings. I pray that this will be our experience indeed this month.
After last week's episode, I got some beautiful responses to my questions about how to deal with fear and anxiety. On today's episode, I share some of those responses with you and I hope you find them helpful. I also led us through a short worship session in honour to God who has gifted us a new month. Enjoy and be blessed.

Happy Sunday to you!
I am so happy that you are listening to this episode today. God bless you. I hope you had a good week. On today's episode, I shared how fear and anxiety wanted to take hold of me, but God's word won! Praise God!
His word is truly powerful, effective and a strong tower that we can run to any time, any day. I do hope that you find this episode encouraging and uplifting.
Keep your heart stayed on God and do not allow fear, worry, anxiety takes hold of your heart. Rather trust in His love for you. Do have a beautiful week ahead.
WSW - Called to Worship - 06
I am so excited that we have now come to the end of chapter one of Called to Worship by Vernon M. Whaley. I don't know about you but I 've been blessed by the journey so far. Being reminded that all of creation reminds us and points us to the fact that we were made to worship God. And today going on to see God's purpose for worship revealed.
I hope that you keep this always before you that you are made and called to worship and that worship is essentially living a life that glorifies God.
Till I come your way again next week. Remain blessed and have an amazing week.

WSW - Called to Worship - 05
On today's episode, we look at the Plan of God revealed from the book Called to worship by Vernon M. Whaley.
God created us to worship Him. And in Genesis 1, the words "Evening passed and morning came" points us to six attributes of worship.
1. Worship takes time
2. Worship is a process
3. Worship requires growth
4. Worship requires order
5. Worship should be fresh
6. Worship is part of God's cycle of life.
As you go about your way this week, let everything within and without you point be as a reminder that you were made to worship. Let every breath you take, let everything nature you see call your attention to the fact that you were made to worship Him.
Have a productive and worship filled week. God bless you. I love you but God loves you way more.

Happy Sunday again to you my dear listener.
I hope you had a great week and your weekend has been restful. So I have been a little under the weather and so it's been a bit of a struggle sticking to time. Hence the lateness of today's episode dropping. However, I am grateful to Abba for the gift of life.
On today's episode, I featured my sister Naa as she shared with us a portion of the book CALLED TO WORSHIP by VERNON M. WHALEY and how it spoke to her. She also gave us a little sample of her sweet voice by singing the song that came to mind for her. I do hope that today's episode blesses you.
Till I come your way again next week, have a fantastic and productive week ahead.

WSW - Called to Worship - 03
Happy Sunday to you!
I hope that you had a productive week and that your weekend has also been restful. On today's episode, Vernon M. Whaley author of Called to Worship, in part one of this book explained how creation in itself was the very beginning of a call to worship. He explained how God gave us a model of worship. How everything in creation including ourselves should bring us to a place of awesome wonder in who God is. He (God) is the centre of all things and He created all things for His pleasure.
Enjoy the artistic combination of words Whaley used to describe this phenomenon. And I pray that as you listen and go about your week, that your eyes are open to behold the wonders of God all around you. That you begin to see how majestic God is just considering all of His creation including you.
I pray you an amazing week and I pray that you never lose the wonder of God. See you next week.

Let's Sing of God's Goodness.
Hi Fam,
Whew, even though it was a battle to get here, the important thing is that we are here. So I had some technical issues after recording this morning and I've been trying to fix that all day coupled with other things that I had to attend to. But thank God that this episode is finally up.
I hope that you are blessed by this episode and shift focus from the challenges around you to fix your gaze on Christ who is the author and the finisher of our faith. God bless you and talk to you next week.

She shared about how this song reminds her of a pull she's been having from the father. Why not listen and hear what she had to say. I hope it blesses you.

Omg! Guys.
Today's episode is an adventurous one. Haha, so we could not get a quiet place to record and while we searched time was far spend, so what did we do? We decided to record on the go in a car! Yes. Well, thank God it came out okay as you could hear everything we were saying. I am so glad that my sweet sister Lindarose was open to being adventurous with me on this one.
It was indeed a fun episode and we got to sing together too. I do hope that as you listen to her testimony and to how her worship song of the week resonates with the story of her life on all levels as she puts, that you will also look into your life and see how good God has been.
I want to say a big thanks to everyone who keeps listening to this podcast and most especially all who sends feedback, I love, appreciate and celebrate you. God bless you always.
Until you hear my voice again next week, remain amazing and keep enjoying the goodness of God.

Washed - With Dominique
Happy Sunday to you!
How has your weekend been, hope good? I am happy to be here with you again this week. Today on the show I had my friend and sister Dominique all the way from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). She shared with us her worship song of the week Washed by Upperoom. It was part of a spontaneous worship session by these amazing young people you can watch the full video here https://youtu.be/IBCkeJYTJkM to listen to WASHED, you can skip to the 9min mark on the video.
If you are born again then this is a reminder of your true identity in Christ. This is to remind you that you there is no more condemnation for you because you are now in Christ Jesus, so do not listen to the lies and deception of the devil when he tells you otherwise.
If you are yet to accept Christ Jesus as your personal Lord and saviour, then I invite you to do so today, by saying this short prayer. Say, Lord Jesus, I accept you today into my life, come into my heart and be the Lord over my life and everything that I own, come and guide, lead and be my friend. Come Lord and cleanse me from my sins for I cannot cleans myself and I cannot by myself win over sin, I need you to help me overcome the power of sin over my life. Thank you for paying the price on the cross by taking my place, today, I accept your gift; your finished work on the cross and I surrender my heart to you. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
If you said that prayer with faith in your heart, I congratulate and welcome you into the family of God. Now you are a new creature in Christ. Now look for a bible believing church around and be part of a community of like-minded believers who would help you grow in your journey with Christ. Feel free to send me an email to ejiskede@gmail.com if you have any questions as to what your next steps should be. I can't promise that I have all the answers you need but I am sure that His sweet Holy Spirit will give us all the answers we need for you to move to the next level in your walk with God through Christ.
Thank you for listening, please remember to subscribe to this podcast and share with friends and family as well. Till next week remain blessed and have a productive week. God bless you.

Way Maker with Arnelle
There was so much laughter on this episode, so brace yourself. My guest on the podcast today matches my energy level. She is so sweet. LOL. First, I had a struggle pronouncing her French name and so I got a little french tutoring. Isn't that cool? You too can learn a thing or two.
If you haven't heard the song WAY MAKER Originally by Sinach, where in the world have you been? Here is a link to it https://youtu.be/n4XWfwLHeLM
If you have heard it or know the song, then you would know it is being redone by international worship leaders. The version that inspired Arnelle is by Leeland and you can watch it here https://youtu.be/iJCV_2H9xD0
I want you to know that no matter what you go through in life as long as you are hidden in Christ, He would always make a way for you. It might not look like the way you have in mind, but He does make a way for us and we just need to open our eyes and heart to see it and walk through it. I do hope that today's episode blesses you.
Thank you for listening. Have a splendid week.

WSW - EP 16 ( Good Good Father)
In the words of my guest; Debs, "No matter where I am, whatever I do, I always know that I am loved by the father". It's amazing how God always shows up for us at the nick of time and He did just that in Deb's work situation last week and she shared on the show today how God came through for her.
My laughter on this episode is intoxicating. I hope it rubs off on you and that you have a laughter-filled week.

WSW - EP 15 (REMEMBER)
Happy Sunday to you.
Glad you are getting to listen to today's podcast. On this episode, my guest IVY shared how her worship song of the week titled REMEMBER by Bryan & Katie Torwalt brought her to a place where she never wants to forget who God is to her and what He has done, is doing and will do in her and for her.
I hope that you get to check out the song for yourself and allow it minister to you too. Check out the song via the link below.
See Lyrics to the song
How quickly we forget the God
Who lives in everyday
How easy to lose sight that You
Reside in the mundane
How quickly we forget the power
That's running through our veins
The kind of power that empties graves
And oh my soul
Remember who you're talking to
The only One who death bows to
That's the God who walks with you
And oh my soul
You know that if He did it then
He can do it all again
His power can still raise the dead
Don't tell me that He's finished yet
Let's we not forget the voice
That's holding back the waves
Was once the voice that told the skies
To pour them into place
Let us join the endless song of everlasting praise
The only God who empties graves
Oh my soul
Remember who you're talking to
The only One who death bows to
That's the God who walks with you
And oh my soul
You know that if He did it then
Then He can do it all again
His power can still raise the dead
Don't tell me that He's finished yet
If You broke through the oceans,
You can break through these chains
If Your word made the mountains,
It can move them all the same
If death fell before You
And it's still on its face
Then the power that raised You
Is about to move again
If You broke through the oceans,
You can break through these chains
If Your word made the mountains,
It can move them all the same
If death fell before You
And it's still on its face
Then the power that raised You
Is about to move again
Is about to move again
Oh my soul
Remember who you're talking to
The only One who death bows to
That's the God who walks with you
And oh my soul
You know that if He did it then
Then He can do it all again
His power can still raise the dead
Don't tell me that He's finished yet
Mm-mmm,
He's not finished yet
And oh my soul
His power can still raise the dead9
Don't tell me that He's finished yet.

WSW - EP 14 ( BEHOLD THE LAMB)
Today on the podcast, my friend turned sister Buki shares with us her personal revelation of this beautiful song written by Kristian Stanfill, Phil Wickham & Melodie Malone ( get a preview here https://www.worshiptogether.com/songs/behold-the-lamb-passion ). I hope it blesses you as you listen.
Here are some scriptural references she mentioned at the end of her testimony.
Revelation 5:9 New International Version (NIV)
And they sang a new song, saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
because you were slain,
and with your blood, you purchased for God
persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.
John 1:29 New International Version (NIV)
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

WSW - EP 13 (DO IT AGAIN)
Think about it, there have been times when God showed up for you in the most amazing ways. If He did it before just know that He will do it again, why? Because He is faithful and His love for you is everlasting. So, no matter how hard, confusing, unclear things may feel or look like right now, never doubt in His love and ability to show up and be God in your life.
Today's song is DO IT AGAIN by Travis Green ft Kierra Sheard. I hope that as you listen to this song you are reminded and renewed in your faith to hang on to God.
You can listen to the song here https://youtu.be/2dYmVphxEao
I promised to drop a link to the youtube video to clips of today's podcast so you can see my guest's pretty face. Do well to subscribe to her youtube channel, she's got great content. So here's the link https://youtu.be/hRK4ngscoFQ enjoy and have a blessed week.
WSW - Ep 12 - (CHASING AFTER YOU)
It's been an awesome weekend for me and I am still enjoying the calmness in my spirit. Enjoy today's episode that touches on my desire to keep chasing after God because He is the most important person in my life and I hope its the same for you.
I am praying you a great and productive week ahead and hope to talk to you next week.
Shalom.
WSW - EP 11 ( My Life is in Your Hands)
“Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow; it only saps today of its joy.” – Leo F. Buscaglia
Yes, you have the right to worry, but think about it, how has worrying about anything solved anything? There are thousands of quotes out there that talks about worrying. But one that gives a solution is the word of God. Embrace God's word, hold on to Him, Trust Him absolutely and see worry disappear from your life. Will this happen automatically? NO! You have to be intentional about it and yet not handle it alone because God has offered through Jesus and His Holy Spirit to help you work through it.
I hope that today's episode ministers to you and I pray that as you hand your life over to God, that you will experience the peace that comes with doing so.
Have a worry-free week.
WSW - EP 10 (NANI GI)
January 23rd, 2016, I lost my dad. It was painful and disappointing. I felt like God let me down because at the time I was given to prayers and spending time with Him in Church. I was confident that God had answered my prayers of healing for my dad. So it was a shocker to me when I got a call on Saturday morning after a great time at a vigil on Friday that my dad was no more.
Today's song was a song that I kept on repeat, to keep me reminded that God is God, and He is good regardless of my situation. It's almost four years, and God has been faithful in being a father to my siblings and me.
I hope that as you listen to NANI GI, you will be strengthened to go through whatever tough times you are currently experiencing knowing that He alone is God and deserves our worship regardless of what we might be going through.
I pray you a wonderful week, filled with signs and wonders that God is always with you.
See you next week.
WSW - EP 9 (HOSSANA)
Here is my worship song of this week and I hope that it ministers to you as much as it did to me. Thanks for listening to this podcast. God bless you. Feel free to send me a message via email on ejiskede@gmail.com if you would like to share your worship song and testimony with me. Have a blessed week.
Lyrics
I see the king of glory
Coming on the clouds with fire
The whole earth shakes, the whole earth shakes, yeah
I see His love and mercy
Washing over all our sin
The people sing, the people sing
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
I see a generation
Rising up to take the place
With selfless faith, with selfless faith
I see a near revival
Staring as we pray and seek
We're on our knees, we're on our knees
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like you have loved me
Break my heart for what breaks yours
Everything I am for your kingdom's cause
As I walk from earth into eternity
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna in the highest
In the highest
In the highest
Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest

WSW - EP 8 (OLUWA E TOBI)
Taking y'all back to Nigeria today with the cover I did of this lovely worship song by Minister Tope Alabi. God is so Great and Mighty and no one or nothing can compare to Him. Enjoy and be blessed. See you next week. God bless you.
WSW - EP 7 (MY PRAYER FOR YOU)
Today's episode is specifically for someone. My prayer is that that person will get to listen to this podcast and be encouraged. Be encouraged to know that God has not left nor forsaken you. He promised not to, and if we know anything of God, He never fails. So, hold on, stay strong, help is on the way.
Do enjoy a testimony filled week.
Cheers.

WSW - Ep 4 (I'll Say Yes, Lord, Yes)
How well do we trust the sovereignty of God? Do we sometimes think that God is doing nothing concerning our situation? Or do we trust that He is working behind the scenes on our issues? May we learn to surrender in absolute trust to God and His sovereignty knowing that His plans for us are always good to bring to an expected end. Jer 29:11.

WSW- Ep 3 (Lord Prepare Me).
How prepared are we to allow God take us through the developing stages of His purpose for our lives? Sometimes we think we are ready when as a matter of fact we are not. My worship song for this week is a prayer as well as a reminder of who we are ( The Sanctuary/ Temple of the living God) and how we must align with God to ensure that we are ready whenever the father needs us. Enjoy and have an amazing September.
