73: Letting it be fun and enough
- Birthday and birthdays
- Assess what we've done so far in this stop and start series compared to what I've done before when there was no guide to look forward to every week.
- Diagnose how Stop and Start can help us in our creative, multipassionate journeys
- Plan out in the future how we can remember to stop when we want to and start anytime we want to.
- Implement what stopping and starting looks like for you.
- Evaluate the last 13 weeks and how stop and start has helped serve you along the way and how it can help serve others too
- Closing launch for CCW and in the works for another series next week. Last call for video editing and website services.
- Availability of Stop and Start series + other newsletter series for free on the Teachery platform (Join Teachery through my affiliate link -> https://www.teachery.co/?a=AEQ7F3jr)

72: Letting intuition be your guide
- Assess the times when intuition has served you
- What is intuition
- Diagnose why you want intuition to be your guide. What would it mean for you if intuition were your guide
- Plan for how you would use your intuition as your guide in different scenarios, such as you work, everyday life, etc.
- Implement as you go. Or create a task list or daily tracker for you to remember the significance of this exercise in your own life.
- Evaluate how things go along the way, whether using intuition as your guide has truly helped you. Results may not be short term. You may have to be patient

71: Holding space for yourself and others
- Holding space is about creating a safe environment
- Assess situations where you feel like you could benefit from holding space
- For example, negative emotions like anger. It is safe to feel this. It is safe to let it move through you. It is safe to let it go.
- Plan for when things happen in the future.
- Whenever the triggering emotions or situations happen, remember to implement holding space for yourself.
- This is what inner work is all about.
- See how it serves you and acknowledge how your emotions are important.

70: Things people don't talk about (aka Sad stories and bad sides)
- Let's stop and start talking about sad things
- Why do we always want to hide sad stories and appear happy?
- Why are emotional people so stereotyped?
- Were we always meant to be cheerful?
- What if we are simply reserved people by nature?
- Is sadness related to being reserved and shy all the time?
- Would you share your sad stories every now and then?
- Let's stop thinking that life is unicorns and rainbows and start considering the reality that there are sad people out there (and this may include us) but that's okay. The human spectrum of emotions is so broad and we tend to go back and forth in this spectrum to find that balance, that homeostasis.
- It's not that we need sadness in order to experience happiness. But that the sadness has its role of expressing how we truly feel in that moment. And there's no need to cover it up with a happy attitude. But we do get to feel it so we can accept and adapt and so we can release it. Release the heaviness. And realize that feeling was supposed to move through us to teach us something, to open us up. To heal us.

69: Confidence is silent
- Let's stop and start considering confidence. Is it innate? Were we born with or without it? Is it necessary in life?
- What I have learned is that confidence is not for other people.
- The deepest root of confidence is belief and trust in yourself. Not to please others nor to impress them, but so you can set yourself free from the notion that you are limited by other people's opinions of you. You are not limited by how other people perceive you. You are only limited by thoughts and feelings you hold about how you trust yourself to do scary things.
- And therefore for me the biggest factor behind confidence is courage. Courage to be you despite what others may think. Courage to fulfill your own potential despite how you grew up. Courage to face the future despite the anxiety of not knowing what it holds.
- Confidence is a tool that isn't always necessarily used to relate to others (although that is useful and can be meaningful too). It is a life tool for you so you can be free. So you can create a life that fulfills the unlimited potential you have. Confidence is taking the leap in your own life.

68: Preparation brings you fifty percent closer to your goals
- Preparation brings you fifty percent closer to your goals.
- I personally need this reminder because I'm the type who tends to do things on the spot, including content creation.
- Preparation is key to confidence because showing up unprepared just won't serve you.
- However, when you show up prepared, even just mentally, it's half the battle.
- Now all you need to do is either deliver on what you prepared or ditch it altogether and do your thing. Either way, you've prepared yourself in advance.
- Now I'm not here for perfection and preparing until the cow's come home, as they say.
- I'm here for imperfect actions and circumstances and showing up anyway.
- Preparing is only one part of the puzzle and a part that can potentially boost your confidence but it is not the end all be all.
- Your intentions and your message are always what's important. And when you hone in on that and on your story, you start to create a connection between you and the task or the people before you. You begin to work with the courage that we've talked about previously. And you share with more purpose and passion.
- Some will say that is confidence. I call it preparation, intention, and message.

67: How's your confidence game?
- How will more confidence help serve you in your life, in your work or career, in your relationships? What is your why behind wanting to have more confidence?
- How has your relationship with confidence been, what's the background?
- When you think of confidence for yourself, how would you envision it? Are there specific situations that you have in mind, what are they? If not, what kind of scenarios would you think of when you think of yourself as a confident person?
- What are mini steps you can take today to make sure you're working on your confidence? It doesn't have to be huge.
- How do these steps serve you?
- After implementing these steps, do they feel good for you?
- It's all about what works and what doesn't for you.

66: Hustling and showing up as your best version
In this episode I talk about Gary Vaynerchuk, hustle, content creation, being the best version vs being you now, and what do you want to be known for?
It's never too late (nor too early) to stop what you're doing and start creating. Let it be fun and enough.

65: Documenting the process of streamlining your work
- How it started
- How it's going
- Streamlining → an arduous process
- Using systems and tools like Notion
* Premade templates to save time
* Boundaries between research that saves time and creates output vs going through rabbit holes (sometimes rabbit holes are useful too)
* I didn't ask myself foundational questions at first, I just went with what I felt called to do (intuition) - Then I tested and experimented
- Sometimes your why isn't as fancy as saving the world, sometimes it's just about paying bills (or debts) → got me into graphic design and video editing
- Systems are all good but they have to work towards a goal.
- What is the end result you want? Is it to pay off debts? To be famous? To serve? If you are in a heart-centered business, you are creating something beautiful for others and yourself.
Website: elaineroselle.com
64: Documenting your project brainstorming process
- Lists → Do you use pen and paper together with your notes app or separately?
- Questions → Crucial to your brainstorming process; Start with your overarching goal(s). What do you want to do and what do you need to do to make what you want happen? A balance of your want to-do and need to-do's
- The Messy Middle → Connecting the dots; relating your content to each other
- Completion → Finalizing and learning when to stop planning and start applying
Website: elaineroselle.com
63: What do you want to be known for?
Prompts/ Questions:
- Your core values? What are they?
- Your career or business? What are your goals? How can you pursue them in a way that's fun for you? How much is enough for you? How do you define what enough means in your own life?
- Your personality? Who do you want to be as a person?
- Your multi-passionate loves? What are your passions? *Passion seems to have a bad rap nowadays; find any word that resonates with you; semantics don't matter.
- Your creative genius? What is it? What are they?
Website: elaineroselle.com
62: What are your multi-passionate fields?
Organizing your multiple passions by area:
- Life → In life, I want to... (self + others)
- Creativity → In creativity, I want to...
- Spirituality → In spirituality, I want to (explore)...
- Mental Health → In mental health, I want to...
- Business → In business, I want to...
- Legacy → I want to be known for... I want to help... I want to make a difference in...
Remember: You won't always get everything figured out at once. Your experience molds your story. Listen to your intuition and body.

60: Affirmations For Pain
For when you’re in physical or emotional pain.
Inspired by my latest tooth pains.
I know it seems funny, but in the moment of pain, nothing is funny at all. Everything seems so serious and so painful and so irritating. Waking up to intense pain is even worse. Waking up itself is a transition, adding pain to that just makes the process seem even more unbearable.
So throughout the day, I feel what I need to feel and allow myself to heal. It is my hope that these affirmations serve you as you battle with your own pains physically or emotionally.
Let this be a reminder that nothing is permanent, not even your hurt.
And that you are so capable of healing and moving past this hurdle!

59: I Didn't Launch
So I haven’t still launched and I probably will never do so the proper way. 🙆
I let it be.
And I ask you this: Do you really need to do everything right NOW?
No, really. I know this sounds like a cop out. Like I’m letting you make all the excuses.
It’s not.
It’s a simple way to assess whether the mindset we’re in is that of scarcity when it comes to time.

58: Vanity in Writing
The not knowing is easier and loads better than the knowing but not doing.
But sometimes the knowing gets to a point when it has to come out.
Website: elaineroselle.com
57: Accepting What Is
In between forgiveness and hatred lies a sacred kind of silence that, if or when disturbed, will only prolong the agony, anger, and hurt.
It is in needing this space (that sometimes we forget that we CAN have) that we think we ought to forgive quickly and easily.
You don’t always have to do what you don’t want to do. There’s a certain freedom in that thought that can hopefully, somehow help support you in your healing.

56: Cycles and Reflections
Feeling really low, weak, and negative today. I’ve been doing my best to keep the energy up by drinking lots of water, trying to eat as healthy as possible, and minimising stress.
I notice these times happen especially when it’s nearing my period. And it is important to still honor these feelings. It is a good opportunity to reflect and be thankful.

55: 2020
So far, things have been a little bit far from planned.
Given the state of this year, that may very well be the ultimate understatement of the century.
Let’s just say that, even though things happened that we did not expect, they still happened FOR us. FOR you.
Website: elaineroselle.com
54: Take it from here
2020 is the year I both created and stopped creating content.
The more that I think about it, though, the more it makes sense to me.
Most of the things that happened in my life this year were and are the exact things I intended to do.
Maybe life isn’t just letting it happen to you.
Maybe we do have a choice each day, each moment,
Maybe we can achieve what we want, just not at the same time.
Website: elaineroselle.com
53: Modern Transformation For Your Mindset and Habits
At the very core of what I do is an innate need to uplift the way people think about themselves. It is my goal to help those of us who are longing to push past the boundaries of traditional, cultural, fixed thinking. It's not because I simply feel like changing the systems that set the foundations for this world but because I want to focus on the individual, the human being, the people behind the systems.
How do we respond to the little things that make up the stresses during our day? How do we set boundaries when we can't even speak clearly about what we want? How can we start to shift the way we think about ourselves and the various things that make up our lives like money and family and relationships and even spirituality (or lack thereof)?
There comes a point when we can't blame the system and everything else that is external anymore and begin to look at and within ourselves. I discuss more on the podcast. 🎧

51: You are enough.
In this episode on the podcast, I stress the importance of knowing you are enough. Please don't listen to people who tell you otherwise (hint: they are great marketers). All sleazy marketing and business-gurus aside, know that your worth can never be measured. In the vlog, I also share my tips for finding pockets of time for creativity and a slight riff on using social media. Take care!

50: Find pockets of time to create
When you’re days are filled with responsibilities, it seems like you aren’t capable of doing anything else. If you’re a content creator, you might get overwhelmed with managing how your day goes. I have been there, too. This is what I did to find pockets of time to create content while being a mom.

49: Why it's important to put things out into the world
It wasn’t until recently that I remembered my love for coding. Now I’ve set out to accomplish, ever so slowly, a project—an app for creative solopreneurs—that can help act as their “online office and creative space.” And I’m 30 now, btw. I decided to get back into some of things I’ve done a long time ago because I really believe in building and creating things that help others. Here are some reasons why putting things out and getting back into your projects is a good idea.

48: For the multi-passionate who wants to find focus
Imagine being passionate about so many things at the same time. It’s like juggling multiple balls in the air. At some point, you can’t keep up anymore and the balls go falling down one by one. You don’t have to subscribe to that story anymore. You don’t have to subscribe to any story that you don’t make for yourself. Just because you are multi-passionate does not mean you can never find focus.
Website: elaineroselle.com
47: When you fall off the bandwagon...
The first thing you could do to get back again is to forgive yourself. By forgiving yourself, you learn. By being kind to yourself, you heal. Sometimes, it’s easier to just go-go-go when pressure is looming before you and that’s fine, too. Take time to reflect, however. Give yourself that space you need to think and feel and be in the present, knowing that it is all you have. Worrying and thinking about the future does not serve you anymore. Doing what you can today is your gift to your future self.
Website: elaineroselle.com
46: How to gain real confidence as a content creator
Hint: it's not just about how you look. There are lots of content out there on the Internet already about all the ways you can be confident. You can dress the part. You can wear makeup and look pretty. You can work hard or act as if (you know, fake-it-til-you-make-it mentality, which is one of my favorite things to do, btw). But there's only ONE thing I know for sure that brings me real confidence: it is knowing that I've done and continue to do something about my dreams and goals. That I pursued something--a dream--that only I could see.

45: Wrapping up my 2-week daily content sprint
We beat ourselves up so much but it's only because we compare our first day of school as a freshman to someone else's senior year in college. It just doesn't add up that way. Comparing yourself to others will never end up well, even if you think you're better. There will always be someone bigger, smarter, prettier, kinder, whatever-er.
But if you compare yourself to who you were in the past and if you're thankful for where you are now? Almost a hundred and one percent guarantee that you will be much happier with your own life.
Website: elaineroselle.com
44: Finding patience. Patience, where are you?
Feelings are what they are but they are not great leaders. They are great indicators but they shouldn't be the reason why you do something (good or otherwise). The word reason itself relates to the mind, not emotions or feelings.
Give yourself a reason why you feel something and why there's a need to shout or yell. But also remember to be kind to yourself when you make mistakes. Beating yourself up doesn't help but learning and NOT repeating the same mistake is exactly how we can solve problems.
Website: elaineroselle.com
43: You Want The Full Experience
Today has been one of those few days when things just seem to click into alignment. I’ve just filmed some vlogs last night, been in the midst of finalizing a project, and decided to take part in a vibe-y membership group. I felt so abundant and grateful today that I stopped and warned myself to not feel too giddy with excitement or happiness because this might all go away anytime. I’ve got a feeling most of us are like that at some point. We’re scared when we’re too happy. We’re anxious when things finally go right. And we’re apprehensive when we finally get what we want.
Website: elaineroselle.com
42: Building Lists For Everything
This week, I am just over being productive. I’ve just had the realization that I don’t handle work pressure very well, which is a bummer because I’ve always pegged myself as someone who’s usually graceful and calm under pressure. But when it comes to making and doing stuff for work (i.e. client work), I can just easily forget everything and focus on completing the task at the last minute. And I do get to typically complete the project but at the expense of having to neglect other aspects of my life.
Website: elaineroselle.com
41: How To Recharge From Creating Content
These were the things I learned from Week 26 of this year 2020 that may help with how you can spend energy to get back energy as well (but with the caveat of spending that energy with those who matter to you)…
Website: elaineroselle.com
40: Wondering what to do next
The parts of you that you need to improve on are so important. It’s what paves the way for creativity and inspiration to take place because your weaknesses can determine how you adapt and, from there, create something beautiful. Last week I recorded a vlog for my Weekly Ideas newsletter about wondering what to do next. What do I even talk about? It feels like I’ve said what I wanted to say and repeating things will just be overkill.
Website: elaineroselle.com
39: There is no end point
And everyday is a mess. That’s okay. When everything seems blurry and confusing, that is okay. I’ve been talking with my wonderful, creative, courageous coach, Meg Kissack from That Hummingbird Life, recently. And we came upon this beautiful idea of a blog post about not reaching success (the end point) yet staying in the mess and feeling that that is still okay.
Website: elaineroselle.com
38: Flawed people loving flawed people
I rarely consume the news anymore nor log into Facebook at all. But every now and then, somebody informs me that so-and-so place recently had another positive case of Covid-19 or there’s another story or post on Instagram that shows more evidence of unnecessary misuse of authoritative power from so-and-so country or state, which led to women and men being placed under inhumane circumstances and stripped of their sense of dignity whatsoever.

37: Something I do on a Tuesday
…is blogging. Hey friend! 👋🏽 It’s your girl, Ellie, again writing to you on this very humid, going-to-rain weather in my place (the Philippines!). I just feel like my blog isn’t as casual as it used to be back in the day. So here I am just sharing thoughts yet again. 😉So far, I have been pondering and reflecting on what has transpired both in recent events (with trending news about racism in the U.S. and protests) and for the first half of this year 2020 (with the pandemic and all).
