The End Time Blog Podcast
By Elizabeth Prata
Exalting the name of Jesus through Christian essays and podcasts.
About me: I was formerly an elementary school teacher, a journalist/editor, now I'm an elementary teacher's aide. I love writing. After I was saved I began a writing ministry for Christian women on the topics of encouragement, Reformed theology, and discernment. I love children, art, reading, and a quiet life. Why The End Time? We're living in the end time. Time is short to share the Gospel- and grows shorter each day. I'm a member in a local, elder-led church, and I await the day I will meet my Jesus face to face. Blessings!

Help! God is in a box! We have to get Him out!
Looking at how Charismatic experience mixed with scripture as a benchmark of truth actually denies God's glory and defames Jesus.

They crept in
The verse says the false teachers crept in unnoticed. Well, why weren't they noticed? Today we explore the verse from Jude and I look at false teachers and what to do about them.

The Mystics #3: Hildegard of Bingen
Hildegard of Bingen was certainly ahead of her time on many fronts, and her music stands the test of time, too, still being played today. But her visions, feminism, and theology are not to be emulated.
Introduction

The Mystics: #2, Catherine of Siena
I'm looking this week at the medieval mystics, today it's Catherine of Siena. These women were weird in the extreme, and yet their doings and their theology are praised by Catholics and have even inspired some Protestants with their examples of private revelations or extreme asceticism or deeds of the flesh.

The Mystics: Julian of Norwich. Part 1
Julian of Norwich was definitely an “Influencer”. How so, you may ask, especially since she lived the greater part of her life as a recluse? She had visions, and she wrote them down. Her book of visions is considered the first book written by a woman in English.

The old Christian Mystics: Introduction
When a devotional from AW Tozer this week quoted and praised medieval mystic Julian of Norwich, it got me thinking of the other female mystics of that era, and how really, there is nothing new under the sun. I'm taking a look at Julian of Norwich, Catherine of Siena, Hildegard of Bingen, and Bridget of Sweden and their unholy influence in the faith (which was really outside of the faith).

Today I'm thinking about Romans 1:20 and how through His creation we all can evidently see His existence, but before we come to salvation, we suppress that truth in unrighteousness.

Hardwired for God
Today I'm thinking about why, if we evolved as secular scientists claim, that all cultures worship a god, have a creation story, and believe in an afterlife? It's because we are hardwired for God, as the Bible tells us.

Are things spinning out of control? (Answer: No)
It might feel like the world is out of control, but not a bit of it actually is. I go through some scriptures to offer a broad view of just how precisely the LORD performs His planned events, and in that knowledge, we can be secure that all is progressing perfectly in the universe, down to the details of each of our lives.
