Si amas a Jesús, es porque alguien tomó de su tiempo para hablar contigo, escucharte, discipularte, predicarte y mucho más. En el camino, nos hemos encontrado con distintas personas que nos han ayudado en nuestra carrera de fe. A veces fueron nuestros líderes, mentores, amigos en la iglesia o incluso miembros de la familia. Para Timoteo, fueron su madre y su abuela.

Estoy eternamente agradecida por esas personas en mi vida. Aunque no son perfectas, me enseñaron muchas cosas, y aún lo hacen hasta el día de hoy. En medio de una generación que desea deconstruir todo y encontrar fallas en nuestros padres y líderes, queremos caminar en gratitud.

If you love Jesus, it's because someone took the time to talk to you, listen to you, disciple you, preach to you, and do everything else mentioned above. Along the journey, we have had a variety of people who have helped us in our walk of faith. Sometimes it was our leaders, mentors, friends in the church, or even family members. For Timothy, it was his mother and grandmother.

I am eternally grateful for those people in my life. Though not perfect, they taught me so many things, and still do to this day. In the midst of a generation that desires to deconstruct everything and find failures in our parents and leaders, we want to walk in gratitude.

As we contemplate Jesus' humility we can be free from pride and arrogance in our hearts. That is my prayer this Christmas.

This life and the things of this world are fragile and passing away, so we are called to live focused on the eternal. The return of Jesus is just the beginning of eternity and the Bible talks about the glory of the eternal city, New Jerusalem, and the coming of the Father.
