"Something to Remember" - Gary Pratt
Gary Pratt is a singer, a songwriter, and most of all, an energetic country entertainer, who connects with his audience. He grew up in the small, old coal mining town of Slickville, Pennsylvania. In addition to being the front man for several local bands in the Pittsburgh area, he has had the experience of hitting the Nashville club and showcase scene. He has had the pleasure of singing at the Tennessee State Fair, Rocky Gap Music Festival and CMA Fest. Savannah and Gary recorded the duet he wrote, "To Find Us", at Omni Studios in Nashville. "The Things to Come" Jeremy Parsons
Born in San Antonio, Texas, Jeremy Parsons grew up soaking in the sounds of Texas music in the dancehalls of the Lone Star State. Jeremy was always a fan of music, but it wasn't until his later high school years that he discovered his knack for it. Jeremy draws from his personal experiences to create songs that are keenly perceptive and meaningful. The first single from his latest album, “Things I Need To Say” was the Top 40 Roots Music Report and IndieWorld Report track, "Burn This House Down." The song paints a poignant picture of heartbreak and acceptance that still remains relatable. It will stick with you long after your first listen. That single was followed up by the equally well-received, “Why is the Bluebird Blue,” also is a Top 40 Roots Report americana single. “Bluebird” also reached #2 on the Hits You Love pop charts.

"Never Giving Up" - Ashley Puckett
Ashley Puckett was born and raised in North Huntingdon, just east of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Ashley realized her passion for music at a young age, performing at vocal competitions and community events, and eventually, landing at open-mic nights and shows in bars and clubs, doing anything to keep the music and her passion alive. Ashley’s debut album and lifelong dream, “Never Say Never” was made a reality. The album will be released on MTS Records on February 14, 2020, with first single, “Medicine” having been released in August 2019. The single charted nationally on the IndieWorld Country Record Report and Airplay Today country charts. "I've never given up on where I wanted to be (in the music industry), however, when life pulls you in so many different directions, it sometimes takes you off-guard, and it becomes very easy to lose sight. I believe everything happens for a reason, and although I feel I'm always at the wrong place at the wrong time, somehow that led me to the right place at the right time, to say ‘It's now or never’ after meeting Bryan and Doug.

"A Passion and Love for Art" - Tino Ortega
Informed by a life spent along the U.S.-Mexico border and inspired by those making a difference in our resilient binational community, El Paso artist Tino Ortega has dedicated himself to exploring the idea of “connectivity through diversity.” Growing up in El Paso and frequently traveling across the bridge helped foster this idea of connectivity—and first exposed Tino to the stunning, colorful murals that sprang up in Juárez over the years, in a time that mural work wasn’t as common as it is today. He recalls the “shock and awe” of turning a corner to stumble across a new mural. Though El Paso and Juárez are geographically connected, Tino said he’s found inspiration and influence in the more abstract, intangible divisions between two distinct worlds.

"From Model to Actor" Brad Hopper
Brad Hopper in his six-years in the acting and modeling industries, has gained invaluable experience, which has lead him to where he is today. His acting credits include several episode the ITV series "Vera" and has appeared on the front cover of one of the biggest wedding magazines in the UK, "Your North East Wedding". Additionally, he has worked alongside Ken Loach on his film "Sorry We Missed You", which was released in 2019 to celebrated success. His biggest accolade to date has been winning Mr. Sunderland 2017 and competing in the Mr. England 2017 finals.

"The Obstacle is the Path" - Arys Dejan
A writer, recording artist, poet, dancer, model and podcaster. From a young age, Arys discovered the ability to express himself through different art forms. Writing and spoken word became his focus and his guide when it came to addressing certain life challenges while growing up. Music always played an integral role in Arys' life, and while being placed in the system during his teenage years, he found the art of rap. From there, he decided to use the challenges that he had faced, and new found love for art as a crutch to overcome those challenges. He then chose to give back to the people who may have been going through similar situations that he was going through at the time. Working for local community organizations that focused on violence prevention, self expression and homelessness (To name a few) as a way of giving back to the communities and environments that he once came from became a main focus for Arys. Performing at talent shows, community events and even local festivals propelled Arys to the next levels of his artistry and professional pursuit of his creativity.

"Music, Film, and Billy Townes" - Billy Townes
Born in New York City, Townes’ earliest experiences with the piano came from his music teacher mother when he was still a toddler in Okinawa, Japan, where his father was stationed in the army. The family settled in El Paso, Texas in 1971, and soon after that, Townes began formal classical training on his primary instrument while also learning drums and, later, marching in his high school band. Townes' initial exposure to jazz as a teenager transformed his life instantly.
Townes took his artistry to another level and became a nationally recognized jazz artist with Sun City at Night, his first recording with the current core Modern Session lineup, which along with Foster also included Demetrius Williams and Marty Olivas.
Founding his own label Shade Records in 1997 marked a turning point in Townes’ career, as he blazed a trail that many independent pop and jazz artists would follow when digital downloading became the standard in the 2000s.

“How Creativity Rules the World”
Maria Brito is an award-winning New York-based contemporary art advisor, author, and curator. A Harvard graduate, originally from Venezuela, her first monograph “Out There” published by Pointed Leaf Press in 2013, was the recipient of the Best Book Awards in both the Art and Design Categories. In 2015 Brito was selected by Complex Magazine as one of the 20 Power Players in the Art World and in 2020 she was named by ARTNEWS as one of the visionaries who gets to shape the art world.
She has written for publications such as Entrepreneur, Huffington Post, Elle, Forbes, Artnet, Cultured Magazine, Departures, and the Gulf Coast Journal of Literature and Fine Arts from the University of Houston, Texas.
In 2019 she created and hosted "The "C" Files with Maria Brito", a TV and streaming series for PBS's new station "ALL ARTS".

“Creating art Inspired by my Hometowns” - Raul the Third
Raúl is an award-winning illustrator, author, and artist whose work frequently centers around the contemporary Mexican-American experience and his memories of growing up in El Paso, Texas and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. He’s the illustrator of the Low-riders series, a bestselling graphic novel trilogy, the second of which, Low-riders to the Center of the Earth, earned Raúl his first Pura Belpre Medal for Illustration. His lauded picture book series for children, ¡VAMOS!, began in 2019 with ¡Vamos! Let’s Go to the Market!, a dual language picture book set in a bustling border town, for which he won a Pura Belpre Honor and praise as being both entertaining and informative through its engaging detailed art, Spanish vocabulary, and cultural references. His follow up ¡Vamos! Let’s Go Eat! won him a second Pura Belpre Medal earlier this year. It was recently optioned to become an animated series with Silvergate. This fall, his profile continues to grow as he joins #1 New York Times bestseller and the current National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature, Jason Reynolds, on Stuntboy, in the Meantime (11/30). Stuntboy is Jason’s first illustrated middle grade novel and he hand-picked Raúl the Third, to create the art for the book.

In 2016, she was nominated for the BlogHer Voices of the Year award for her essay, “A Story of a Fuck Off Fund,” which is anthologized in The Future is Feminist from Chronicle Books, along with work by Roxane Gay, Mindy Kaling, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Caitlin Moran, and Audre Lorde. In 2021, she was selected as a Jack Straw Fellow.
She shared the honor of a 2021 Washington State Book Award for the anthology Alone Together: Love, Grief, and Comfort in the Time of Covid-19 as a contributor.

Storytelling has always been her core of art. @gibeel Gibel Amador is a Latina filmmaker and poet from the borderland. Raised in both El Paso and Juarez, her experiences as a Latina in this region have informed her understanding of storytelling and narrative.
Working from an early age as a model, Gibel decided to put herself in control of her own narrative, placing her eye behind the camera and behind the script. Filmmaking and photography came naturally to her from so much experience in the industry, but the writing was the missing piece.

Richie David Marrufo is an educator, MC, project director, show host, and spoken word poet. He is the current Project Director of The Barbed Wire Open Mic Series. A writer for the film/production studio Power at the Pass where he also produces and hosts The BWOMS Podcast. During the pandemic, he has kept the open mic alive via live sessions on Monday nights called The Stay at Home Open Mic.
Richie has performed in unique shows and venues throughout the Southwest and has conducted various writing workshops within the city for people of all ages. He is a huge advocate for the voice of the community and the support of local artistic endeavors.
From playing music on street corners and mountaintops to speaking in front of classrooms, Richie is happy to share his love for music, poetry, and improvisation with others.
