Happiness after Codependency with Marshall Burtcher

Happiness after Codependency with Marshall Burtcher

In this episode, we cover:

  • Codependency in relationships and how it relates to the fawn response, repressed needs, and issues with boundaries.
  • Understanding the fawn response as a normal biological strategy to avoid hurt, violence, threat, & difficulties in relationships, as well as a signal that we need more safety and care in our connections.
  • The 10 core emotional needs & how they nurture our sense of identity & connectedness in relationships as we learn to connect to the felt sense experience of these needs within our body.
  • The connection between safety and self-advocacy within relationships & how to trust the reactions within our bodies as a guide to our embodied needs.
  • The relationship between codependency and attachment & understanding attachment as a starting point/ barometer to measure the need for closeness or space in our connections.
  • Embodied boundaries & how self-advocacy ensures our safety, allows us to operate within our capacity, & find different thresholds of space/ closeness within our relationships.

Marshall focuses on helping codependents transition to self-sovereignty, fulfilling interdependence, and happiness. Marshall was deeply codependent and love-addicted for over 30 years due to tragedy and abuse in his childhood. He sought out help through CBT and DBT therapies and found success through non-traditional therapy (shamanic healing and trauma work).

He trained as an emotional healing practitioner (using somatic approaches blended with inner journey work) from 2008 to 2010, and as a relationship coach from 2008 to 2011. Overcoming Imposter Syndrome with Amal Alhuwayshil

Overcoming Imposter Syndrome with Amal Alhuwayshil

In this episode, we explore how to overcome imposture syndrome. Amal and I deep dive into how imposture syndrome shows up in your nervous system, and how to embody and own who you truly are. We specifically explore how imposture syndrome shows up for high performers and how it can activate various trauma responses, such as fight, flight, freeze, and fawn. Amal shares her personal experience with imposture syndrome, high performance, and embodied leadership. Amal also covers the importance of high performers learning how to stretch their capacity to receive, be, and own the fullness of their being. We discuss the need for high performers to own their gifts, talents, and strengths while being able to fail, take risks, and acknowledge the gifts within their imperfections. Trust me, you don't want to miss this one.

Amal Alhuwayshil Sexuality, Business, and Embodied Leadership Coach, TEDx Speaker, Top 40 Under 40, and featured on Nasdaq as a Woman Leader to Watch in 2022. Amal is helping ambitious leaders and creators to stand in their sovereignty, run their business from pleasure, be seen and fully embodied in the bedroom and the boardroom. She finds deep pleasure in helping thousands (and one day millions) of people find safety and cultivate the courage to live out loud and be seen, reach their highest potential, and take up space in their untamed self-expression. She deeply believes that as we heal our bodies and untame ourselves, we can heal the systems that tamed us in the first place, heal the world, and birth new ways of being. Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, Amal got into a fixed marriage at the age of 18. In 2013, she filed for divorce, moved to Canada, 24 years-old, and was covered from head to toes. In 2017, her TEDx talk about choice and her story of taking off the hijab was flooded on youtube with three times more dislikes than likes. The comments were filled with hate speech, harassment, and promises that she will end up burning in hell. Alongside that, came death threats. Still, she lives out loud and has so much love and lust for this life.

Embodying The Space with Chelsea Didier

Embodying The Space with Chelsea Didier

Wow, this episode that is being released today is a special one. Not just because Chelsea is one of my best friends, but because of the space she embodies herself. She truly is in integrity with this topic for today and her offering, the SPACE, which involves breath, meditation, sounding, and intuitive movements.

As we discuss, the space is a blank canvas where you are free to connect, create, explore, and meet the depths of your soul as you are. It is where all the stories, conditioning, programming, and rules can gently come undone so you can stand bare, raw, and naked in the truest expression, expansion, and connection with yourself and God. It is a place where your pain gets to be celebrated, honored, transmuted, and integrated for the highest good and where all of you is accepted and welcomed with no part left behind. This simplicity in our own embodied aliveness and presence allows us to meet ourselves and others as we are and drop the pretending, performing, and perfecting.

Chelsea's offering, the Space, supports the practice of surrendering our ideas of who we think we are and how we should do things and instead invites us to return to a simple place of listening and allowing. It is this listening and allowing that allows us to come back home to who we truly are and remember why we are here.

I can support her offering as I have been an active participant and have experienced the deep therapeutic benefits. Imagine 10 therapy sessions all in one session, except it gets to be fun, exploratory, soft, gentle, and inviting. I loved this recording and encourage you to give it a listen and check out her offering.

Thank you Chelsea for being such a portal and pure embodiment of Truth.

Savanna beautifully shares more in detail the importance of how to be in connection and integrity with ourselves and how this sets the tone and foundation for showing up more consciously with those around us.  Savannah has an upcoming offering called "Get the Love You Deserve" that covers this whole podcast episode. Healing Our Relationship with the Masculine

Healing Our Relationship with the Masculine

In today's episode, Sarah dives deep into a discussion around healing our relationship with the masculine (our own inner masculine, men, and our relationship with God). How do all of these relate to embodying who we truly are?  How does this relate to the feminine? You must listen. She does a beautiful job of simplifying, defining, and articulating how our sacred remembrance rests on the Truth of us diving deep within to reclaim both the sacred feminine and masculine within. However, in this episode, she especially focuses on the masculine  and how important it is to see our relationship with God and our inner masculine as being the foundation and sustenance of our own inner safety, provision, space holding, and discernment.  You don't want to miss this episode as it will open you up to a greater calling to lead and love from your heart. She also has a special gift for listeners for this podcast episode. It's her Modern Women's Pathway to Reunification Ebook!  Code is ARTEMIS to access it for free.

CARE with Jennifer Beth

CARE with Jennifer Beth

In this episode, Jennifer shares about what CARE means and clarifies that it goes much deeper that self-care. It is not about "doing" and it's not all about bubble baths and getting your nails done. CARE goes much deeper and involves a devotional practice and skillset to bring this loving awareness and presence to yourself throughout the day, being there for yourself, attuning to yourself, listening to your body, and advocating for yourself while releasing shame and self-judgement.

Jennifer Beth has been a student of breathwork for 19 years and is soon to be a certified breathwork instructor. She has returned again and again to the healing power of breathwork in her own life and through more than a few dark nights of the soul.

Now she is excited to support others in experiencing the benefits of the practice that has literally saved her life and kept her on the path of her life's purpose: to be and live as only she can: living in fierce authenticity, holding herself in care, choosing maturity, and facilitating others in their own healing journey through the transformative experience of their own breath.

She also speaks on the importance of holding yourself in deep CARE as you navigate through your own unique life/healing/transformation. You can find more information about Jennifer on Facebook at Jennifer Beth
