I AM ALWAYS WORKING HARD BUT I AM GETTING VERY LITTLE FINANCIAL RETURNS!

I AM ALWAYS WORKING HARD BUT I AM GETTING VERY LITTLE FINANCIAL RETURNS!

"Pastor, please pray for me. I am always working hard but I don't understand why I keep getting small financial returns"

To be frank, I've been in your shoes before. I remember how I met with one of my pastors and lamented before him. I had authored many books, I had great followership online, people were getting testimonies from my contents. I wasn't really different from what you'd call a famous person. Yet, it wasn't showing in my finances. I was really troubled.

Although that pastor did his best to encourage me, but I soon realized that the subject of financial prosperity in the kingdom is a different syllabus compared to the possibilities that our purpose and callings provides. Bishop David Oyedepo shared a story how that he had been teaching his congregation the principles of financial prosperity for many years, yet he couldn't boast of being prosperous financially. So he went on a 3-day retreat to discover the secret to financial prosperity. It was during that retreat that God revealed to him that His prosperity plan wasn't a promise, neither does it answer to prayer and fasting. It's a covenant, and until our part is played, God is not committed.

Right after that encounter, He screamed that he would never be poor. He came back with clear wisdom on what to do to prosper financially. This was a man who had done many great things for the kingdom, yet money was going to make mockery of him.

The moment I heard Bishop David Oyedepo share this story, I immediately understood that although my gifts and diligence will bring me before Kings, but just because I associate with Kings doesn't automatically mean I'd have money. I had to journey with God in search of wisdom for financial prosperity. And God so good, I found it. For the full article, please visit

SINCE MY HUSBAND STARTED FOLLOWING OTHER MEN OF GOD HIS ATTITUDE TOWARDS ME CHANGED!

SINCE MY HUSBAND STARTED FOLLOWING OTHER MEN OF GOD HIS ATTITUDE TOWARDS ME CHANGED!

"Pastor, since my husband started reading books and listening to messages of other men of God asides our pastor, his attitude towards me has changed. I'm tired. What do I do?"

I understand how you feel, but the change may not necessarily be towards you, it may just be affecting you because you probably don't know the things he now knows. As long as you don't know what he now knows, you may be doing things that violates his updated beliefs. Chances are that even if he explains it to you, you may still think he's being defensive. But if you hear it directly from the source, it may make sense to you.

That's why I recommend that couples should grow together. When you noticed that he started following other men of God, you should have joined him. You may not be able to move at his pace, but at least you'd have an idea of what his mindset can change to. Also, when he explains it to you, you'd understand because you also follow the source. Marriage may become difficult if both couples do not have access to the same spiritual information.

While you may want to think that there's something wrong with the books and the men of God he now listens to, I don't expect any serious Christian to only listen to one pastor or man of God. That's not how the body of Christ works. In the body of Christ, there are diversities of gifts and callings, one calling and gift differs from another. While one person may be a great teacher, another may be a great intercessor, no one believer can be an island of all things spiritual.

Marriage is an institution, and what keeps the romance growing are the beliefs within the husband and the wife. A change in one party's belief system would be a threat to the romance in that marriage. Try to have a conversation with couples who got divorced or seperated, both the husband and the wife would tell you that neither of them understood something about one thing.

The fact that you know the men of God your husband now follows simply means he must have recommended that you follow them too. For the full article, please visit

I'VE BEEN DECLARING GOD'S WORD OVER MY SITUATION BUT THINGS KEEP GETTING WORSE.WHAT AM I DOING WRONG

I'VE BEEN DECLARING GOD'S WORD OVER MY SITUATION BUT THINGS KEEP GETTING WORSE.WHAT AM I DOING WRONG

"Pastor, I've been declaring God's word over my situation, but things keep getting worse. What am I doing wrong?"

One of the greatest truths you'd come to discover is that just because you declared a scripture doesn't mean it would work. Darkness only responds to light which is birthed from revelation, and certain revelations cannot come to you until you untangle yourself from the affairs of this world and engage in a committed search for a word that would lighten the situation first in your heart. Scriptural truths cannot work for you until there's scriptural light in your heart. Scripture clearly tells us that no man wars and entangles himself with the affairs of life.

Some people declare scriptures in fear, whereas scriptures should be declared from a standpoint of light and understanding. You don't try scriptures to see if they'd work, you declare them because you know they'd work. The moment there's a little doubt in your heart, then it won't work.

If the challenge dissapeared the moment you declared those scriptures, then it means your light overweighed the darkness the challenge brought. But if the challenge remains and even gets worse after your declarations, then it means you need to go for more light. It's not that the scriptures you knew and declared weren't true, but that they weren't rightly lighted for the darkness you're battling.

I once had a migraine that lasted for four days. Between the first day and the third day, I declared all the scriptures I knew, but the situation seemed to grow worse. It became so bad that I had to use a pain killer by the evening of the third day. The ache persisted all through that night, and it was unbearable. I got very upset with the situation by the morning of the fourth day and told God that there had to be a way out. Knowing this, I took my bible and isolated myself somewhere to search for that way out.

As I searched, I encountered John 8:31-32, which is a scripture I've known since I became a Christian. It says, "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free!" I'M TIRED OF QUARRELING WITH MY HUSBAND OVER HIS MISTAKES. WHEN WILL GOD ANSWER MY PRAYERS?

I'M TIRED OF QUARRELING WITH MY HUSBAND OVER HIS MISTAKES. WHEN WILL GOD ANSWER MY PRAYERS?

"Pastor, I'm tired of quarelling with my husband over his mistakes, when will God answer my prayers?"

Let me guess, you've probably been praying to God to teach your husband a lesson that will make him more responsible to his family, right? Well, that's definitely something God can do, except that you may be obstructing Him without knowing.

You see, God cannot work with us when we are in disobedience. For instance, His instruction for a wife towards her husband is to "submit". This means that if you submit to your husband despite his shortcomings, then God will fight for you. Likewise, if you fight your husband over his shortcomings, God's hand will be restrained from helping you.

I know it can get very emotional, especially when some level of cheating is involved, but you must also realize that it's a battle, and you can't win in disobedience to God's word. That anger that you feel is understandable, but don't let the devil use it against you. If you make decisions based on your anger, then you would be fulfilling the lust of the flesh; but if you stay in the spirit despite the emotional wounds, then God will come through for you.

When I say "stay in the spirit", I simply mean hanging on to God's word or remaining in obedience to God's word until God proves Himself in your life. Many people who have gone wrong in marriage left the spirit when a challenge came, hoping that they could resolve the challenge in the energy of the flesh. When they realized that the matter only got complicated, they returned to God for help. That's not how it works! You have to be spiritual from the beginning. Just because it appears like something common sense can handle doesn't mean the scriptures should be violated. Common sense is not always common.

Any common sense that is against the scriptures is deception, and it can take you out of the garden of Eden. That's right! It can take you out of your marriage. Common sense is not always common, it can as well be costly. For the full article, visit

IS IT POSSIBLE FOR SOMEONE TO PROSPER AND BE SUCCESSFUL WITHOUT GOD?

IS IT POSSIBLE FOR SOMEONE TO PROSPER AND BE SUCCESSFUL WITHOUT GOD?

"Pastor, is it possible for someone to prosper and be successful without God?"

I'm guessing this question is as a result of Hilda Baci's world record. So before I respond to that question, it's important that we establish the fact that she has always acknowledged God as the source of her strenght. I watched a previous interview of her, probably when she cooked twelve hours straight. They asked her if she could go further than that record, and her response was that God is the source of her strenght, and that what God cannot do does not exist. Asides that, we had witnesses from two well known pastors and her mother that she loves the Lord.

Personally, I think her achievement would have been a great feat for the body of Christ, except that her non-conformity to Christian morals when it comes to dressing may have sabotaged that purpose. It's now appearing as though she's promoting two kingdoms. Please note that I'm not judging her. For all we know, she may have realized this and even changed, but the internet doesn't forget our mistakes so easily. If you seem offended because I didn't post a public congratulatory message, it's because I run a spiritual platform and I need to be sure of her stand before I do.

Now back to the question. John 3:27 is clear on this, "A man can receive nothing except it is giving to him from above". That means any man or woman who ever received anything only received it because God permitted it, whether actively or passively.

If you do blood money and succeed, that's God's passive way of telling you that it's not too late to repent - because some people tried it and lost their lives immediately. If you robbed a bank and succeeded, that's God's mercy standing in the gap for you - giving you a reason to repent. Any success you get on your own should give you a reason to draw closer to God, not develop pride and arrogance. For the full article, please visit

I REALLY LOVE WHAT YOU DO, PLEASE PRAY FOR ME TO RECEIVE THE SAME GRACE YOU CARRY

I REALLY LOVE WHAT YOU DO, PLEASE PRAY FOR ME TO RECEIVE THE SAME GRACE YOU CARRY

"Pastor, I really love what you do. Please can you pray for me to receive the same grace you carry?"

Sure, but you may not need my prayers after you read what I'm about to share with you.

I gave my life to Christ in February 2010 and started enjoying divine transformations. In 2011, I was studying the book of Daniel when I suddenly paused; I was overwhelmed by the strange acts of Daniel. After a deep thought, I held on to my computer screen - which was were the PC Bible was installed, and prayed “Lord Jesus, I receive the same gifts you gave to Daniel, the gifts that made him ten times better than his peers, and also helped him dissolve hard sentences”.

I was just a young believer, yet I desperately desired to operate the way Daniel did. Surprisingly, I started teaching and writing the same year. I wrote very complex things in very simple ways. At some point, I even interpreted the dreams of friends. It was so obvious that I couldn't doubt where it came from. Till date, I still write very complex things in very simple ways.

Nobody took their grace to heaven. Every grace that has ever manifested in this world was left here in this world. The mantle of Elijah did not fall on Elisha, rather, it fell on the ground. Elisha only had access to the grace on Elijah when he picked up the mantle from the ground. And he didn’t just pick up the grace, he picked up a double portion of the grace that worked in Elijah. If Elijah's grace fell on the ground, then many other graces fell on this ground. And just as Elijah said, if we can see these graces, then we can possess them.

Daniel’s grace fell on the ground, I saw it and fervently asked God for it, and it is working for me. Joseph’s grace must have fallen on this ground. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, John, Peter, Paul, Timothy, and even Jesus. Jesus left the grace He operated with on this earth; He even went further by sending us His Holy Spirit. In John 14:27, Jesus said “Peace I leave with you…”. He didn’t take those virtues away, He left them here with us, we only need to see them before we can benefit from them. You must have heard that "seeing is believing", but as far as grace is concerned, SEEING IS RECEIVING.

There is no better way to see the grace these people carried than to study about them. It was in the cause of studying that I saw something I liked about Daniel. And because I saw it, I had the right to replicate the grace. The only grace you can’t have is the one you’ve not found.

When I say "see", I don't mean seeing with your physical eyes, I mean seeing with the sight of revelation. For the full article, please visit

AT CHURCH THEY GAVE ME TWO CANDLES TO PRAY WITH. THEY SAID IF I BELIEVE WHAT I PRAY FOR WILL HAPPEN!

AT CHURCH THEY GAVE ME TWO CANDLES TO PRAY WITH. THEY SAID IF I BELIEVE WHAT I PRAY FOR WILL HAPPEN!

"Pastor, I went to a church and they gave me two candles to pray with. They said if I believe in it, everything I ask for will happen. What do you think?"

I don't have any issue with the substance they gave you to pray with, it's probably their church doctrine. However, if that doctrine or pattern wasn't captured from scriptures and if Jesus wasn't the subject of focus, then I recommend that you ask for clarity. Clarity is important in matters like this because some people engage in traditional worship under the cover of "church".

Any doctrine that doesn't have a pattern from scriptures and doesn't glorify the name of our Lord Jesus should not be administered in church.

Speaking of giving church members a substance, it's not for them to idolize that substance, but to act as a leverage for their faith. There are many Christians who act like Thomas, they won't believe the word preached except they have something they can physically hold on to. Teach them the power of the name of Jesus all you want, if you don't give them a wrist band they can wear that represents power from Jesus, they won't believe you. Either way, they believe in Jesus; whether directly or through that substance.

Jesus also used substances like sand and His saliva to heal a blind man. He concluded the miracle in the pool called "Siloam" - where the man washed off the substance on his face. This was clearly to reveal to us that substances can also be used to transmit the anointing or the power of God to those who believe. For the full article please visit

THE MAN WHO WANTS TO MARRY ME EARNS VERY LITTLE! HOW DO WE COPE WHEN I DON'T EVEN HAVE A JOB YET?

THE MAN WHO WANTS TO MARRY ME EARNS VERY LITTLE! HOW DO WE COPE WHEN I DON'T EVEN HAVE A JOB YET?

"Pastor, the man that wants to marry me earns 75 thousand Naira per month, how do we cope when even I don't have a job yet? Should we wait till things are better?"

It's true that job security or even a steady income is a necessary consideration for marriage, but I've realized in my service to God and His kingdom that enough money is never enough for marriage. Consequencially, a good paying job for both couples should never be a reason for continuing in marriage.

We've heard tragic stories of couples who were prosperous before marriage, but months after marriage, it was as though marriage sabotaged their prosperity. Everything diminished as though they never had it. Some of them even got divorced because of the tragedy.

Don't get me wrong; considering the times and economic situation of the world today, I encourage intending couples to both have at least one stream of income each - so that they can support the home together. However, knowing that physical things are temporal or subject to change, I don't fail to unveil the truth that would help them succeed in the adventure of marriage. Let me share a few of them with you.

- FAITH IN GOD

According to scriptures, faith is the evidence of the things that hasn't manifested in your life yet. Money will never be the evidence that you'd get married and stay in marriage, and that's because the flow of money itself requires allegiance and obedience of faith to the authorities that govern financial prosperity, whether in the kingdom of light, or in the kingdom of darkness.

Look around you, have you ever seen a wealthy man who neither serves God nor mammon? For the full article please visit

I DON'T LIKE ALL THE MEN I'VE BEEN MEETING. THEY'D ALWAYS HAVE A THING OR TWO THAT PUTS ME OFF!

I DON'T LIKE ALL THE MEN I'VE BEEN MEETING. THEY'D ALWAYS HAVE A THING OR TWO THAT PUTS ME OFF!

"Pastor, I don't like all the men I've been meeting. They'd always have a thing or two that puts me off. Please pray for me"

Sure! I'd pray for you. But I need to be certain that the things that puts you off about these men are not their weaknesses. If it is, then you may need to turn yourself back on when you get put off.

One of the assignments of a woman to her man is to be the strenght for his weaknesses. When God saw that Adam didn't have a companion, He decided to make a helpmeet for him. A helpmeet simply means a helpful partner or a spouse. This already cancels your dream or desire of marrying a perfect man.

If you find a man who doesn't need your help in any way, that's a scam and a trap, don't go into that relationship. Please believe me, a perfect man is a trap. Adam was really good, he operated with the Spirit of God even in a way that no Christian today has, yet God had to give him someone to help him. Adam was supposed to be a perfect expression of God, yet he needed help. If Adam needed help, which man on earth wouldn't need help?

So, instead of finding faults when you meet a man, find out if the faults are just his weakness and if you have the strenght to help him. Part of relationship is responsibility to be someone else's strenght in his or her weakness. Any relationship where you don't have responsibility to strengthen something won't stand the test of time.

If your man forgets your birthdays and gives you a genuine reason for it, instead of complaining and getting angry about it, help him device a way to always remember your birthday. Possibly, teach him how to use Google Calender or just set a reminder on his phone. Sometimes forgetting important days like birthdays and anniversaries may not be lack of interest, it may just be a weakness. So don't conclude that he doesn't like you just because he forgot your birthday; rather, give him the benefit of doubt by teaching him how not to forget such days.

Just because he's a spendthrift doesn't mean he's unworthy to be your husband. That character may just be a weakness, one which you obviously have strenght for. That's right! Chances are that you have strenght for anything you complain about. If you complain that he's always very untidy, then you're certainly a keeper. If you complain that he wastes resources, then you're certainly a good manager of resources. My point is, instead of complaining, use your strenght to cover that weakness, and while you are at it, ensure you do it in love. Such that when they see him outside, that weakness will not show, because he has a woman who covers it. For the full article, please visit

I AM TIRED! HOW DO I DEAL WITH THE LIMITATIONS IN MY LIFE?

I AM TIRED! HOW DO I DEAL WITH THE LIMITATIONS IN MY LIFE?

"Pastor, I'm tired. How do I deal with the limitations in my life?"

Limitation is something that was introduced into this world after the first man sinned against God. Prior to that time, man was unlimited as far as his dominion in this world is concerned. Man even had supernatural intelligence; he never went to school, yet he gave names to all the animals that existed at that time.

Asides the fact that God had earlier given man dominion over the earth, in Genesis chapter 6, the bible reveals why this kind of unlimited possibility is available to man. Let's read from scriptures:

Genesis 6:
1 And after a time, when men were increasing on the earth, and had daughters
2 The sons of God saw that the daughters of men were fair; and they took wives for themselves from those who were pleasing to them.
3 And the Lord said, My spirit will not be in man for ever, for he is only flesh; so the days of his life will be a hundred and twenty years.
5 And the Lord saw that the sin of man was great on the earth, and that all the thoughts of his heart were evil.
6 And the Lord had sorrow because he had made man on the earth, and grief was in his heart.
7 And the Lord said, I will take away man, whom I have made, from the face of the earth, even man and beast and that which goes on the earth and every bird of the air; for I have sorrow for having made them.
8 But Noah had grace in the eyes of God.

Did you notice verse 3? God decided to withdraw His eternal Spirit from man because man's flesh was naturally subject to sin. What that means is that sin could now limit the operation or possibilities of man. The more man sinned, the less of God man saw.

That's the cure to man's limitation right there; the manifestation of the Spirit of God. When man had the fulness of God's Spirit, man had no limitations, but as sin continued to gain dominion, limitations began to set in.

After Adam, the next person that operated with supernatural intelligence is Jesus. Let's read from scriptures:

John 7:

I'M REALLY TRUSTING GOD TO BUY A CAR BUT SOMEONE ADVISED ME TO TRUST HIM TO BUY LAND FIRST....

I'M REALLY TRUSTING GOD TO BUY A CAR BUT SOMEONE ADVISED ME TO TRUST HIM TO BUY LAND FIRST....

"Pastor, I'm really trusting God to buy a car, but someone adviced me to trust God for a land first. What do you think?"

If your faith is moving you to get a car, then please do. Especially if you're putting your trust in God for even the funds to buy the car.

Believe me, the advice that person gave you is a good advice. But just because it's good doesn't mean it's faith. Many Christians have taken good advices that eventually hindered their faith. Imagine that Jesus had listened to the good advice of his disciples when he asked them to feed the five thousand people, that record of faith would have never been captured in the Bible.

Logic and faith don't mix together. Logically speaking, it's more sensible to consider options that secures your future first. But as Christians, we live by faith, and faith is all the security we need. People who live by logic consider facts and statistics, we who live by faith considers God's might.

It is said that lands would always be assets, while cars are liabilities - yet I sold my first car for a much higher price after two years of use. Asides that, I've seen several occasions where faith outshined facts.

The people of the world prepare for rainy days, that's why a natural man would advice you to build a house before you buy a car. You didn't have the money to buy neither the car or the house, yet he's advicing you to buy a land first. That mindset has caused unexpected stagnation in the lives of many Christians. They kept trusting God for a land in fear, when they could have easily flowed with the initial faith to buy a car. For the full article, please visit

I HAVE BEEN WAITING PATIENTLY FOR YEARS NOW, BUT IT SEEMS WHAT GOD PROMISED ME ISN'T FORTHCOMING

I HAVE BEEN WAITING PATIENTLY FOR YEARS NOW, BUT IT SEEMS WHAT GOD PROMISED ME ISN'T FORTHCOMING

"Pastor, I've been waiting patiently for years now, but it seems what God promised me isn't forth coming. What do I do?"

First you have to understand that "Patience" and "Waiting" don't mean the same thing in this kingdom. Just because God says you have need of patience doesn't mean you should sit down and wait idly until He shows up for you. Let me show you a scripture:

Hebrews 10:
35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

So verse 35 unveils that faith will always be compensated with a reward. In other words, don't give up on what you're believing God for until you've received it or at least you've received a compensation for it. What I mean is, if you were trusting God for a life partner, He can either choose to answer you by giving you one directly or send you to a place where you'd meet your life partner. If you needed to travel abroad, God may do a direct processing or send you to work with an organization that has branches abroad. Either way, you'd travel.

Speaking of compensation, many believers do not understand this compensation system of faith. You may be having faith in God for healing from an asthmatic condition, and instead of healing you supernaturally, you receive an inspiration to inhale onion gas for some days. I perceive that this compensation system of faith is God's way of sustaining or meeting our needs whenever our faith for what we actually desired isn't sufficient.

So instead of complaining or thinking that your faith didn't work, look out for a sudden move around you and follow through, that may be God's compensation or reward for the faith you expressed. You may have prayed for a business, but He gave you a job with a business tycoon. He knows that if you submit to mentorship with the business tycoon, your faith will be built enough to start your own business. God is all wise!

Clearly, managing the reward or compensation would require some level of patience. But the question is, how long do you have to manage the compensation before the real deal actually comes? For the full article, please visit

EVEN THOUGH I REPENTED AND NOW BORN AGAIN, I FEEL LIKE THE SINS OF THE PAST ARE HAUNTING ME....

EVEN THOUGH I REPENTED AND NOW BORN AGAIN, I FEEL LIKE THE SINS OF THE PAST ARE HAUNTING ME....

"Pastor, even though I've repented and now born again, I feel my sins of the past are hunting me and affecting my results each day. What can I do?"

Simple! Plead the blood of Jesus over your daily endeavors.

Although I've recently taught about this, but let me lay more emphasis on the power of the blood of Jesus. I recently realized that many Christians who plead the blood of Jesus over their lives do not really understand the depth behind that mystery.

In 1 John 5:8, the bible says, "And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one". Which means if God needs to make a judgement or unveil the truth about a matter on earth, there are only three substances that qualifies to be witnesses, and they are the spirit, the blood, and water. These 3 would always say the same thing, and it's impossible for them to lie.

My focus for this message is the blood, but let me touch a little on the spirit. In 2 Corinthians 2:11, the bible says, "For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God". So it's possible that a man may be telling a lie yet you'd have no way to prove him wrong because you'd need access to his spirit to do that. This is why when diviners want to find out how a person died, they summon the person's spirit to reveal it to them. Even if the person lied about the predicament while he was alive, the spirit will always tell the truth because it's incapable of lying. Now you'd understand why God will rather contact your spirit to testify for or against you.

So the next time you pray to God about a desire, you should know that God isn't going to honour your request just because you said it with your mouth, He'd honour your request because your spirit is in agreement with what you said. How much of His word did you truly believe in your heart for that desire? For the full article, please visit

I HAVE BEEN STRUGGLING TO WRITE ANOTHER BOOK SINCE I PUBLISHED THE FIRST ONE.....

I HAVE BEEN STRUGGLING TO WRITE ANOTHER BOOK SINCE I PUBLISHED THE FIRST ONE.....

"Pastor, I've been struggling to write another book since I published the first one. Even the first one I wrote is struggling to bring profit. What could be the problem?"

I know there are thousands of coaches out there who can give you a far better counsel in this area, but perhaps this would help you break off that limitation.

One of the things I tell people who participate in my Inspirational Writers Mentorship Course is that inspirational writers have no business with writer's block.

Writer's block is a non-medical condition, primarily associated with writing, in which an author is either unable to produce new work or experiences a creative slowdown. Writer's block has various degrees of severity, from difficulty in coming up with original ideas to being unable to produce work for years. Again, an inspirational writer doesn't have any business with writer's block.

You can't imagine the severity of questions and prayer requests that billions of people around the world make to God on a daily basis. Yet, God is obligated to provide answers to all of these people. As much as He'd like to, He can't reach all of them, obviously because some people lack the sensitivity to receive from God. Although they prayed, but they don't know how to receive what they've prayed for.

Knowing this, God will take advantage of any available medium to reach them, including inspirational writers. I remember an encounter I had a few years ago while I was praying, it was as though God gave me a privilege to hear the various requests and supplications of people that were coming to Him at that moment. It was so emotional that I wept, begging God to help them so that they won't die😂. I couldn't even stand properly during the prayer. I wept from my belly.

When He released me from that encounter, it suddenly dawned on me that I had alot of work to do for God's people. It's one of the reasons why I write one article daily. Even at that, I still feel a vacuum within that hasn't been dealt with. It's always as though I shouldn't stop writing. If I totally yield to that vacuum, chances are that I'd be writing a hundred articles daily😂.

Honestly, I wasn't joking when I said God is obligated to provide answers to everyone who calls on Him, and He would use any medium. Just as I'm concluding one article, another idea is building up in my spirit. That's clearly God giving me the answer to someone's question. Amazingly, the kind of comments I read from people who read my daily articles validates this truth. Some of them would say things like, "This was for me", "I just finished praying to God about this matter, I'm surprised He answered me through you", "You just took a burden off my shoulder". I GIVE A LOT, BUT WHY DO I END UP BEING IN LACK TO THE POINT THAT I HAVE TO BORROW OR BEG?

I GIVE A LOT, BUT WHY DO I END UP BEING IN LACK TO THE POINT THAT I HAVE TO BORROW OR BEG?

"Pastor, I give alot, but why do I end up being in lack, to a point that I have to borrow or beg?"

There's something in between the time you give and the time you receive, that thing is called "faith". Faith is the action birthed from your convictions from God's word concerning your hopes or expectations.

There has to be a connecting factor. Many believers who give do so with hopes to receive a reward for their generosity. Meanwhile, the Just is expected to live by faith, not by hope. It is faith that empowers you the receive. If you give, believe that you will receive, and you will. If you only hope to receive, then chances are that you'd end up frustrated, because God only responds to our faith.

Having understood this, you'd realize that giving isn't all you need to prosper financially in this kingdom, you also need to express your faith or simply act on God's word.

Let me show you a few scriptures I act on that has guarded my giving life successfully:

SCRIPTURE 1:

2 Corinthians 9:
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

This scripture deals with the possibility of being in lack after you give. It promises that God is able to make the grace for wealth available to you as long as you continue to apply this equation to whatever He gives you; take what is sufficient for you, then use the rest to do good.

So at the early stage of your financial commitment to God and His kingdom, this is how He expects you to operate. He doesn't want you to go about begging just because you gave. You're expected to take what is sufficient for you and use the rest for good works.

Note that "sufficiency" in this case simply means that you should only take what you need, and not more than you need. According to Proverbs 11:24, anyone that withholds more than he needs has a tendency of becoming poor.

So if God gives you hundred dollars, He expects that you'd allocate a portion of that money for good works, even if it's just ten percent of it. Your good works becomes the seed that brings your next harvest. But if you spend all, you'd get back to poverty. For the full article, please visit

I GRADUATED FROM SCHOOL A YEAR AGO AND HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A JOB. WHAT CAN I DO?

I GRADUATED FROM SCHOOL A YEAR AGO AND HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A JOB. WHAT CAN I DO?

"Pastor, I graduated from school a year ago, and since then I've been looking for a job. It's getting frustrating, what can I do?"

Graduating from school or even school certificates has never been a guarantee to get a job. If it is, then we would not have unemployed graduates loitering around in our nation.

I've often encouraged young people that although education is good, but after they've been certified, they should also go for spiritual empowerment. This is because, the spirit controls the physical; if the spirit realm does not certify you, then it doesn't matter how many physical certificates you have, your life may still be a struggle.

How do you explain the fact that Masters' Degree holders become bus drivers or even truck pushers who haul goods from one place to another in the market? How do you explain the fact that graduates job-hunts for 7 years and still do not get it? And this isn't because they are not competent, but because not everybody gets lucky at the same time.

I know someone who believes that anybody who is currently successful is only enjoying his time. He'd often say it like this, "It's his time, my own time would also come". That kind of statement is clearly a statement of ignorance of the truth, and only people who depend on luck think and talk like that. What he means is that the successful person only got lucky, and that luck would also shine on him some day.

I've said this before, as believers, we don't depend on luck, we live by faith. Going about applying for a job just after you graduated from school isn't different from trying your luck. If you would get a job that easily, then the job would have come before you graduated. Depending on your certificate alone to get a job as a Christian isn't very "Christian-like", you have to build your faith first.

Lets learn from Jesus. After he received his certificate, we are told that the Spirit drove him into the wilderness for a 40 day retreat. That's right! The moment God certified that he was His beloved son, he didn't rush to start looking for a devil to torment, he went for spiritual empowerment first.

I remember when I lost my job late 2016, it was at a time when getting a job was extremely difficult. Knowing this, I didn't even bother to apply for jobs, I wasn't ready for disappointments. So I went on a retreat.

When bad things suddenly happen to you, act like a soldier, retreat. You can't enforce results in your weak or vulnerable state. If you do, you'd keep getting denials and dissapointments, and those things lead to depression - which eventually leads to the hardening of your soul. For the full article, please visit

I WORK IN AN ORGANISATION WHERE WORKERS LIVE ON BRIBES. I GET TEMPTED DAILY!

I WORK IN AN ORGANISATION WHERE WORKERS LIVE ON BRIBES. I GET TEMPTED DAILY!

"Pastor, I work in a organization where most of the workers live on bribe. I get tempted daily, please what can I do to maintain sanity?"

Frankly speaking, I'm not sure if there's an organization out there where workers do not engage in collecting bribes or using unjust ways to earn an additional pay. The church is supposed to be an holy place, unfortunately, church isn't exempted from this. If it happens in church, then it definitely happens in every other organization.

Personally, before I gained understanding, I used to commit invoice fraud. Whenever the organization I work with sent me on an errand, I'd inflate the invoice or receipt against the actual cost of what was bought. This was a norm in the organization, and most people do not even consider it to be a financial fraud. But then, how do you do such to an organization that pays your salary? The salary you earn also includes payment for your loyalty and integrity.

You're probably about to tell me that the salary is never sufficient. Well, our sufficiency has never been from money, it has always been from God. The moment you make money your sufficiency, then the possibility of engaging in financial fraud is very high.

Why do you need to take a bribe or commit a financial fraud in the first place? Because you want to have money that would be sufficient for you, right? A believer should not live with that kind of mentality. You don't need sufficient money, you just need an unbroken relationship with God, who also is your Sufficiency.

Let me show you a few scriptures that would further enlighten you:

SCRIPTURE 1:

Proverbs 13:
11 Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.

Any money you gather through fraudulent means cannot sustain you. I mentioned earlier that God is our Sufficiency, He's also our Sustainer. Money can never take the place of God. You can't serve God and mammon. Those who sacrificed their soul for money would tell you that they wished they never did. And that's because the money they got couldn't sustain them.

Try to reflect on how you spent the bribe and the money you got through fraud. Even if you bought something good with them, it would have diminished by now. Ofcourse, you expected it to last because it was good, but the scripture cannot be broken, "Wealth gotten by vanity shall diminish". So even if you build a house with it, you'd lose the house. I wish I were joking, but even you can testify of this truth.

Gather through labour and be contented with what you have. Commit yourself to the principle of financial fortune in the kingdom and it's only a matter of time, you will increase as the scripture says.

SCRIPTURE 2:

Proverbs 11:
1 A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.

That's right! Forging or inflation invoices is an abomination to God. This also means that collecting a bribe is an abomination. For the full article, please visit

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE COVERED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS?

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE COVERED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS?

"Pastor, what does it mean to be covered by the blood of Jesus?"

The average believer would translate that statement to mean "protection by the blood of Jesus". As much as I'd like to discredit that translation, I'd rather focus on explaining what it really means to be covered by the blood.

First, we understand from scriptures that blood has a voice in the realm of the spirit. When Cain unjustly killed his brother Abel, God told Cain that his brother's blood was crying to Him for vengeance. And God had to avenge Abel.

Just as the law court judges a matter by human witnesses, part of the witnesses that God uses to judge matters on earth is blood. Let's see how scriptures put it:

1 John 5:
8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

Did you see that? It's impossible for those three things to bear false witness. For instance, we're told from scriptures that no man can know the secrets of a man except the man's spirit. Which means if you can tap into the man's spirit, then you can know what he's hiding.

So God uses these 3 witnesses on earth, which includes the blood. And to be candid, He doesn't joke with blood. Scripture tells us how God warned Ezekiel that the blood of the wicked might be upon his head if he doesn't give them a warning from Him. Let's read from scriptures;

Ezekiel 33:8 (NIV)
When I say to the wicked, ‘You wicked person, you will surely die,’ and you do not speak out to dissuade them from their ways, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.

God would always respond and judge matters using the blood.

TIME IS GOING, WHEN WILL I FINALLY GET MARRIED?

TIME IS GOING, WHEN WILL I FINALLY GET MARRIED?

"Pastor, time is going, when will I finally get married?"

You see that anxiety that's gradually building up? God doesn't like it at all. Yesterday I taught you that God's program for us is that we all mature to a point where we want nothing, yet all good things are added to us.

Psalm 34:10 unveils to us that young believers suffer when they pursue after their wants, but that those who seek the Lord do not want or lack any good thing. Isn't that a mystery? The things that others are pursuing after are now pursuing after you, just because you understand a simppe principle.

While in fellowship yesterday, I took a moment to ask members what they wanted God to do for them, and you'd be amazed by their responses. Some said they wanted money to eat, some said they wanted a breakthrough, some said they wanted more blessings, while some said they wanted more of God - even though I knew deep down that they also wanted something material.

As soon as they were done expressing their wants, I told them that their wants is probably the reason why they still struggle. That scripture says, "the young lion do want and suffers hunger, but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing". Those who seek God would not feel the burden of wanting any good thing because seeking God adds all those things to them. But those who decides to pursue after their wants will still suffer God's training in the process. That's right! Even while you pursue your wants, God will not alter His program. He'd take advantage of it to train you until you begin to want nothing. Until you want nothing, God cannot entrust you with all good things. You have to understand this.

Let me show you a few scriptures:

SCRIPTURE 1:

James 1:
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

I referenced this scripture in my previous counsel, but this time I'd put those three verses into perspective.

Think about it, people who don't want anything don't suffer temptation. And this is what God is trying to deal with. So while you pursue after your wants, God would orchestrate challenges and resistances just to see if you'd maintain your joy when your wants are not coming forth. So He tells you to count it all joy when you suffer divers temptations. Temptation in this cases does not necessarily mean deception by the devil, it can also mean struggles and resistances that can make you deny or lose your Christian principles.

HOW CAN I EXERCISE MY FAITH WHEN I CAN'T FIND A SCRIPTURE ABOUT MY SITUATION?

HOW CAN I EXERCISE MY FAITH WHEN I CAN'T FIND A SCRIPTURE ABOUT MY SITUATION?

I HAVE PRAYED TO GOD IN FAITH TO GIVE ME A CAR, IT'S BEEN YEARS NOW AND NOTHING HAS HAPPENED.

I HAVE PRAYED TO GOD IN FAITH TO GIVE ME A CAR, IT'S BEEN YEARS NOW AND NOTHING HAS HAPPENED.

"Pastor, I've prayed to God in faith to give me a car, but it's been years now and nothing has happened. Am I doing something wrong?"

I've taught you before that praying for possessions like a car may not necessarily be a prayer of faith, it's simply an expression of your desire to God, and your desires may not come to pass except it is sponsored by your convictions from God's word.

Mark 11:24 says," Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them". In other words, after you pray to God about your desire, you have to believe or have faith in His ability to meet your desires. Many believers pray about their desire but neglect the believing part - which is the most crucial part of the process.

You can't have faith or believe you will receive except you understand a word from scripture or you understand the character of God concerning owing possessions like a car. I know you may have quoted Phillipians 4:19, "God shall supply all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus", but if you still don't feel your faith after quoting that scripture, then you may need to sit down and study your Bible until you understand the character of God in that area.

For instance, back in the old and new testament, they clearly didn't use cars, but what did they use for mobility? Why did they use them? Was enhanced mobility important to the work of God. You'd be amazed by how the answers to these questions will inspire faith in your heart.

Jesus had been going about his earthly ministry on foot, but when it was time to enter Jerusalem as a king, He had to enter with a donkey. He probably would not be given that celebrity attention if he didn't enter riding on that donkey. The people spread their garments on the ground just so that he could ride on them. That's royalty indeed!

We understand from scriptures that we are royalties and that we are redeemed as kings and priests to reign on the earth. If Jesus used a donkey to showcase his royalty, then it's certainly okay to ride in the best of cars if the world would acknowledge our royalty as ordained by God. This revelation alone should spark up your faith to get your own car soon. It's enough reason for God to favour you with a car. You have to showcase your royalty in the kingdom.

This is why it's important to be kingdom minded. Clearly, a person who is not kingdom minded cannot be inspired by this kind of scripture. Matthew 6:33 further guarantees us that material possessions will be added to us as long as we give priority to the kingdom of God. God has an endless supply of all the possessions we'd need in this world, and He adds them to those who give priority to His kingdom. Think about it, the donkey that Jesus used belonged to God and God gave it to Jesus when there was a need for it. Isn't that beautiful? Personally, there are many things I have today that I never prayed for, I just received grace for them through kingdom alignment.

I AM TIRED OF STRUGGLING TO GET THINGS DONE. CAN'T SOMEONE REST FROM STRUGGLES OF LIFE?

I AM TIRED OF STRUGGLING TO GET THINGS DONE. CAN'T SOMEONE REST FROM STRUGGLES OF LIFE?

"Pastor, I'm tired of struggling to get things done, can't somebody rest from the struggles of life?"

One of the greatest secrets I've discovered in this kingdom is that until you train your mind to "want" nothing, your struggle to get things done may never cease.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad thing to have desires, the bible has a provision that grants our hearts desires. However, beyond granting our personal desires is something called "alignment". That's right! The ability to align or position yourself in God's will or God's word per time such that that you don't lack any good thing. It's okay to have desires, but it's far better to not lack any good thing.

Did you notice the concluding part of verse 4? Wanting nothing! Do a little reflection about your life, what are the things that get you frustrated or worried? Chances are that you'd find out that they are things you want, not necessarily the will of God. And clearly the reason why we have these wants is because we think they'd make us better versions of ourselves.

So you want a car because you think it would make mobility easier for you. You want to get married because you feel it would give you some respect in your family. You want to go to school because you think you'd be better than your peers if you do. You want to buy a house because you want to be the first to buy a house in your family. While all of these things are good, let's put a caution when it begins to affect our peace and joy.

Verse 2 of that scripture tells us that the true test of joyfulness is when we still retain our joy despite the trials that we go through. It's okay to want to get married because your peers are married, but don't lose your joy if the marriage isn't forth coming.

Verse 3 tells us that the delay is simply a trial of our faith, and the whole purpose is to work out patience within us. For the full article, please visit

I PRAYED TO GOD FOR PROTECTION BEFORE I WENT OUT I AM SURPRISED I STILL HAD AN ACCIDENT!

I PRAYED TO GOD FOR PROTECTION BEFORE I WENT OUT I AM SURPRISED I STILL HAD AN ACCIDENT!

"Pastor, I prayed to God for protection before I went out, I'm surprised that I still had an accident"

While I'm tempted to say "God works in mysterious ways", He has made a certain amount of His ways known through scriptures.

In the Old Testament, those who walked with God hardly embarked on a journey except as instructed by God. They knew that if God commands it, then He'd protect them in the way. In Exodus chapter 33, there was an anomaly, God told Moses to lead the people of Isreal to the land He had promised Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but that His presence would not go with them. When Moses heard that, he told God that if His presence would not go with them then it's better they don't leave were they were at all. God had to agree before Moses obeyed.

The old testament pattern isn't so different from how we secure God's protection in the New Testament, except that this time, we act in faith. Let's see how scriptures put it;

Ephesians 6:
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

So there's something about faith in God, it shields you from all devices of the wicked. Faith isn't just a bold declaration you make with your mouth, it's a strong conviction from God's word you have in your heart.

It's okay to pray to God to protect you as you travel, but it's important that you exercise your faith before and during that journey. There's a dimension of faith that prays to God, while there's another dimension that speaks to mountains. Don't speak to God when you should be speaking to the mountain. Let's see how scriptures put it:

Mark 11:
23 For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Did you see that? So after you've spoken to God about the journey, speak God's word into the journey. As long as you believe in what you're speaking, then God would certainly back you up - confirming every word you speak with signs following. Let's see how scriptures put it:

Mark 16:
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

TAKE CARE OF THE HOUSE!

TAKE CARE OF THE HOUSE!

TAKE CARE OF THE HOUSE!

"Take care of the house"; that's what the master told his housekeeper before he went for a wedding party.

But the word "Take care" didn't sound appealing to the housekeeper. He preferred to "take charge" since the master was not around. He felt his master's absence was a moment of pleasure for him.

His master got to the wedding reception successfully, except that he forgot his golden pen, which he needed to sign an important document. He quickly sent one of his guards to get his pen from the house. But unfortunately, the housekeeper couldn't hear the guard knocking, because the sound from the music he was playing was louder than every other sound. He couldn't even hear the master's baby crying behind him.

The master was curious, and this time, he sent his driver. The driver got there faster, but his quick arrival didn't help him. He joined the guard, and they both knocked and knocked, until they got tired.

People were waiting for the master to sign so that the wedding could continue, but he had no pen. And so he decided to rush down by himself. To his amazement, he met his driver and his guard at the gate. Though he was their master, but he had to join the "knock".

The housekeeper finally heard the baby's cry. He tuned down the volume of the sound system, and suddenly, he heard the knock.

The master came into the house, nothing had been done, his baby was soaked with tears, imagine a two hour cry for hunger. The house was completely cluttered. His master sacked him, because he was a housekeeper who didn't keep the house.

Although this is a fiction, but like the housekeeper, we are also Kingdom keepers, ordained to keep the kingdom of God till Jesus comes again. But are we really keeping God's kingdom?

Jesus has gone for a "wedding", and we don't know when He'd return. But whenever He comes, will He find us doing what He had assigned to us?

Let me conclude with this; find your purpose, and keep advancing the kingdom with it. Don't get distracted by worldly cares, those things will make you lose your place. May God give us understanding!

God bless you, I love you, and don't forget to share!

I WAS GETTING ADDICTED TO SOCIAL MEDIA SO I UNINSTALLED ALL SOCIAL MEDIA APPLICATIONS ON MY PHONE

I WAS GETTING ADDICTED TO SOCIAL MEDIA SO I UNINSTALLED ALL SOCIAL MEDIA APPLICATIONS ON MY PHONE

"Pastor, I was getting addicted to social media, so I removed all the social media applications on my phone. I don't want my spirit man to get corrupted"

Oh wow! I guess heaven must be proud of you right now. The fact that you are heaven-conscious makes you a good Christian. However, you may need to re-install all those applications on your phone and deal with the lust of the eyes in a more matured way.

The bible already prepared our mind towards the kind of things to expect in this world, let's see how scriptures put it:

1 John 2:
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Did you see that? The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. Those are three major strategies that the devil uses to weaken Christians and lure them into sin. So if you sit down on Tiktok and Instagram all day - watching things that aren't really adding any spiritual value to you, lust in working in you. And the reason why that lust is able to work in you is simply because you love the world. Yeah, you may argue that you don't love the world, but you can't love God and still be lusting after worldly things.

None of these social media platforms are evil. While there are people who use it to propagate the works of the devil, there are also people who use it to promote the works of the kingdom. All you needed to do was to filter what comes to your feed. The software may recommend, but it's left to you to discipline yourself to only feed on what you need. Just because they served lime juice in a buffet doesn't mean you have to drink it. In a buffet, you feed on what you need and leave the rest. That's how you should treat the news feed on your social media platforms.

If we all uninstall social media on our phones, then Satan's agenda to rule the world would become easier to accomplish. Think about it, a few years ago believers didn't want anything to do with politics and political parties because they felt it would corrupt their Christian faith. Yet, it is the same political parties that decide the fate of the nation where Christians live. Now Christians are doing all they can to participate in politics just to change the situation in the country. Imagine if they had always been part of it?

I think many believers misunderstood Jesus when he said, "If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out...". Jesus simply meant that we should seperate ourselves from anything that forces us to sin. For instance, if your boss forces you to do something wrong, you can resign. If your husband wants you to commit adultery, you can divorce him. Seperate yourself from anything that "forces" you to sin. So if it's not a force, then you still have some level of control.

This misconception has really affected the body of Christ. For the full article, visit

I STRUGGLE TO READ THE BIBLE, WHAT CAN I DO?

I STRUGGLE TO READ THE BIBLE, WHAT CAN I DO?

"Pastor, I struggle to read the Bible. After reading one chapter, I get tired. What can I do?"

I'm pretty sure this isn't peculiar to reading the Bible, you probably get tired while reading anything long or not likely to be completed in the shortest time. What I mean is, if it would require that you commit more of your time to it, then you'd most likely get tired of reading it - especially if there are more pressing things on your mind.

There are quite a number of possible reasons for this situation, but let's touch a few:

1. RELATIVITY

There are times when you may be interested in what you're reading, but because the author or writer hasn't been able to relate his message to your personality, you may get tired even before completing the first chapter.

I remember how I got the push to write my first book in 2012, I just acquired a book titled "PUT YOUR TALENT TO WORK". I tried really hard to read that book but I just couldn't relate. The more I tried, the more I got exhausted. It was after several attempts that I heard the Holy Spirit say "You can do better". That was the day I began to write the book titled "Maximizing Your Intellect". Unfortunately, I lost the manuscript, and it was never published.

That experience taught me that just because a book has a title I may need doesn't mean I'd be able to relate with the mode of writing. This is also why I don't feel bad when some people tell me that my articles are always too long to read, I understand the situation. If they find a writing that relates to them, they'd finish a book without knowing.

HOW DO I KNOW THAT MY FAITH IS REALLY WORKING? I AM TIRED OF MOCKERY

HOW DO I KNOW THAT MY FAITH IS REALLY WORKING? I AM TIRED OF MOCKERY

"Pastor, how do I know that my faith is really working? Because I'm tired of how people keep making mockery of me"

When it comes to the operations of faith in our life, our measurement shouldn't be what isn't working around us, but what the word of God is doing for us.

I've shared before that faith is simply the results of our convictions from God's word, and these results reflect within, through, and around our lives. If you think your faith isn't working just because you're not seeing results around your life, then you clearly do not understand the operations of faith.

The day you refused to steal because God's word warns against it, then God's word worked through you, and that's faith. The day you decided to maintain your joy even after you lost your source of income, God's word worked in you, and that's faith. Likewise, the day you bought a car and perhaps a house, God's word worked around you, and that's faith too.

If you observe those three levels, the first two can easily attract mockery, while the third will always attract celebrations. However, everyone who wants to embark on the journey of faith with God must go through the first two levels before arriving at the third level. God's word has to be working in you and through you before it begins to work around you. So your ability to endure the mockery from the first two levels will elevate you to the third level.

Let me show you a few scriptures;

SCRIPTURE 1:

Romans 4:
19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb
20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

Did you see that? Abraham was already in a state of mockery, yet faith was working within him. At that age, he was fully persuaded that what God promised would come to pass in his life. The mockeries or obvious facts against him didn't deter him in any way.

This is something to learn from. If the mockery affects your inner peace or your joy, or even causes you to doubt in any way, then maybe you haven't believed God's word enough. Like Abraham, if you believe God's word, you'd be fully persuaded, despite the odds.

A certain woman had been barren for many years and decided to start engaging in morning cries - evangelizing to people about Jesus. One angry neighbor called her one day and complained that her noise disturbed them alot, and that if her Jesus was that good, why hasn't He given her a child? For someone else, that would have been the end of her evangelism, but not this woman, she was fully persuaded. As God would have it, she conceived and gave birth nine months after that encounter.

SCRIPTURE 2:

Acts 3:
6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

Remember the blind leper at the Beautiful Gate? I guess you do. Peter unashamedly told him that he didn't have money to give him; however, he gave him what he had.

That's right! Something was working through Peter even though it had not began to reflect around him, financially. For the full article, please visit

I DO EVERYTHING A CHRISTIAN SHOULD DO TO REMAIN ON FIRE, BUT I AM STILL GETTING DEMONIC ATTACKS..

I DO EVERYTHING A CHRISTIAN SHOULD DO TO REMAIN ON FIRE, BUT I AM STILL GETTING DEMONIC ATTACKS..

"Pastor, I do everything a Christian should do to remain on fire, but I keep getting demonic attacks. What else can I do?"

Let me guess, you've prayed, fasted, declared the word of God regarding your situation, acted in faith severally, yet it feels like all your efforts are in vain.

The truth is, redemption didn't really exempt us from getting oppositions, it only guarantees us victory - if we fight the good fight of faith. The bible speaks of a great door that is opened unto us, yet there are many adversaries that won't let us pass through so easily.

Whether the demonic attack is because of an altar that was raised before you became born again or just a regular attack to frighten you, the response is the same, fight the good fight of faith!

Some people behave as though Jesus needs to die again and shed a fresh blood to resolve their problems. They feel their case is so peculiar that only a fresh blood can resolve it. Well here's a shocker, Hebrews 10:26 says "there is no more sacrifice for sin". Consequently, that leaves you with one option, fight the good fight of faith.

Just because you had demonic attacks doesn't mean your life would be influenced by them. The only way demonic attacks can influence your life is if you express fear because of the attack. The Psalmist says, "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for God is with me". That's the mindset you should maintain despite attacks. Remember that Job feared, and what he feared came upon him. You're in a battle which Christ has already guaranteed you victory. For the full article, please visit

WHY DO SOME PEOPLE ACCUSE PASTORS OF TAKING ADVANTAGE OF CHURCH MEMBERS AND THEIR MONEY?

WHY DO SOME PEOPLE ACCUSE PASTORS OF TAKING ADVANTAGE OF CHURCH MEMBERS AND THEIR MONEY?

"Pastor, why do some people accuse pastors of taking advantage of church members and their money?"

I'm not going to pretend as though I do not understand what those people mean, many fraudsters have adopted ministry as a business in the name of collecting tithes and offerings, and it's not hard to discern that such "pastors" are not called by Jesus. By their fruits, you shall know them.

However, the fact that there are fakes simply tells us that there are also originals, those who are genuinely called by Jesus. From experience, those who are genuinely called have no interest in material possessions, let alone that which belongs to those they are called to serve. They strive to be financially independent while they serve the purposes of God. Apostle Paul explains this better; let's read from scriptures:

2 Corinthians 12:
13 For what is it wherein ye were inferior to other churches, except it be that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong.
14 Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours, but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.
15 And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.
16 But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile.
17 Did I make a gain of you by any of them whom I sent unto you?

Notice in verse 13 that it was a system of the church back then to carry the material burdens of their man of God, which explains why Apostle Paul had to apologize to them for not allowing them meet his material needs. For the full article, please visit

WHY DOES GOD MAKE SOME PEOPLE POOR AND SOME OTHERS RICH?

WHY DOES GOD MAKE SOME PEOPLE POOR AND SOME OTHERS RICH?

"Pastor, why did God create some people poor and some others rich?"

I think you may have misunderstood Proverbs 22:2. That scripture says, "The rich and poor meet together: the LORD is the maker of them all".

Notice that it didn't say "the Lord made them so", it says "the Lord made them all. Clearly, that scripture was referring to their humanity, not their financial status. God made both the man who became rich and the man who became poor. God made man, but what the man became was totally up to the man.

We understand from scriptures that God's agenda for man has always been wealth and abundance, not poverty. Genesis 1:28 says, "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth". That's the agenda! So anywhere you see poverty, know that it's Satan at work.

Dr Isaiah Wealth defined poverty as an agenda of the devil, propagated by hell, sponsored by ignorance, promoted by demons, for the purpose of stealing, killing and destroying those who are in Christ.

When you see a believer that is poor both in his mind and in his bank account, then he's suffering ignorance of the truth that makes for wealth. It is this ignorance that Satan takes advantage of to keep believers impoverished. Satan cannot keep you in poverty as long as you're walking in the light.

When you see a Christian who says things like "Prosperity is not for all" or even quotes the bible saying "The poor shall not cease in the land" just to justify his poverty, then you should know that that Christian is under the influence of demons. That's right, only demons promote poverty. In fact, you have my permission to run away from anyone who doesn't see anything wrong in being poor.

WHY DOES GOD ALLOW WICKED PEOPLE TO RULE OUR NATION?

WHY DOES GOD ALLOW WICKED PEOPLE TO RULE OUR NATION?

"Pastor, why has God continued to allow wicked people rule our nation?"

I honestly don't think that's the case. It's not about God allowing wicked people rule, but about man exercising or not being able to exercise his dominion. Our dominion is expressed by the choices we make, and our choices are either evil or good.

When a candidate begins to bribe people to vote in his favour, he's simply exercising his dominion, even though his motive would clearly be evil. Anybody who has good intentions would not bribe his way to power. Likewise, anybody who takes a bribe to vote in a leader would get more suffering than good when that leader emerges. However, taking a bribe to vote is also an exercise of dominion.

If a man decides to manipulate his way to power, that's an exercise of dominion. Praying to God to kill such a man may not be a valid prayer point. He didn't put himself there, he manipulated the system that supported his enthronement. Nobody can make himself president, a system has to put him in that position. How would God kill someone who didn't put himself in power?

As Christians, our prayer point shouldn't be against the evil person who is leading or the evil person who intends to lead, but against the system that sponsors them. Once the system fails or disappoints them, they won't be able to perform their evil intentions. Job 5:12 says, "He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise". That's right! Their hands cannot perform evil if the system no longer supports them.

So our problem is the system, not the people. If we can deal with the system by the Spirit of God, then we'd stop evil people from ruling. Jesus cursed systems; we read how He cursed the fig tree that refused to bear fruit when He was hungry. By the next day, the disciples confirmed that the fig tree had dried up. That's how it's supposed to be, Christians are supposed to curse the evil systems that wicked rulers have continued to use to manipulate our nations.

Buying votes or taking a bribe to vote is an illegal act that is punishable by not less than one year inprisonment. Yet, we've never heard that a person was arrested for selling or buying votes. That's because the system has been manipulated. Today, something that was supposed to be illegal is now a norm. To show you how bad it is in my country, instead of the government to enforce that law, they've been doing all sorts of things to ensure that candidates do not have access to cash before the election. Since they cannot stop them from buying votes, they want to frustrate the system. The only challenge is that their action is greatly affecting the wellbeing of our people.

Dear Christians in Nigeria, our greatest prayer now should be that God should dissapoint the corrupt systems that put wicked people in power. We may not have dominion over people, but we have dominion over systems. If we rely on our PVC alone, then I'm afraid that the system is too corrupt to allow our PVCs decide. If we pray against the system, then our PVC will work.

As I conclude, Jesus cursed the fig tree and it dried up. Nobody was able to eat fruit from it ever again. When you curse the corrupt systems in prayer, have that in mind, nobody should be able to use those corrupt systems again.

My prayer is that God will dissapoint the devices of the crafty in Nigeria so that they will not be able to perform their enterprises.

I hope this has brought enlightenment to someone.

Remain ever blessed, in Jesus precious name!

I EARN GOOD MONEY BUT WHY IS IT THAT I HARDLY DO ANYTHING GOOD WITH IT?

I EARN GOOD MONEY BUT WHY IS IT THAT I HARDLY DO ANYTHING GOOD WITH IT?

"Pastor, I make good money, but why is it that I hardly do anything good with the money?"

The fact that you're worried about the situation simply tells me that you're not a foolish spender as mentioned in Proverbs 21:20. That scripture says, "There is a store of great value in the house of the wise, but it is wasted by the foolish man". A wise man saves his money and invests in valuable things, the foolish man doesn't just spend, he wastes his money, which literally means that he uses his money to acquire or do things that may be pleasurable, but not valuable. The wise spender goes for value first, the foolish spender goes for pleasure first.

Clearly, you're not a foolish spender. However, you may not be a wise investor either. That's right! You may not be a foolish spender, but you may be neglecting a very important investment, one that has capacity to sustain your wealth. Let me show you a scripture:

Matthew 6:
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

You see, as Christians, God expects us to live a life that gives priority to His kingdom. The moment we gave our lives to Christ, we became ambassadors of the kingdom of heaven, not just people who live on earth. And as ambassadors, we are expected to invest, project, and protect the interest of the kingdom.

Being an ambassador isn't limited to going to church services, because the whole idea of church services is to release blessings upon you so that you can in turn invest those blessings into the kingdom. For the full article, please visit

I HAVE BEEN ASKING GOD TO SHOW ME HIS PURPOSE FOR MY LIFE AND HE HASN'T RESPONDED

I HAVE BEEN ASKING GOD TO SHOW ME HIS PURPOSE FOR MY LIFE AND HE HASN'T RESPONDED

"Pastor, I've been praying to God to show me His purpose for my life, but He has not responded. What do I do?"

Every equipment has a purpose. As a matter of fact, before the equipment was created, its purpose had been established.

Before a microphone was created, the purpose in the heart of the inventor was to create something that can amplify the voice of a person. Before a car was invented, a faster means of transportation must have been conceived in the heart of the inventor. Over the years, means of transportation has evolved from animals to automobiles. Back in the days, it was Camels and horses, then bycicles, motorbikes, and then cars. Cars took longer time to travel long distances, so aeroplanes were invented. Today, we even have faster aeroplanes called jets.

Now, instead of worrying about God showing you your purpose, isn't it better to learn from the mystery of the equipment? Just as every equipment serves a purpose, every equipped man would definitely serve a purpose in God's kingdom. What I'm saying is, if God hasn't giving you an assignment or a purpose, then it's probably because you've not equipped yourself for His use. Let's see a few scriptures:

Jude 1:
20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.

Did you see that? "Building up yourself". That's what you should focus on doing. Jesus kept building himself until he found where his purpose was written in scriptures. He went to the temple to read just as he usually did, and as He was reading the book of Isaiah the Prophet, he suddenly saw where his purpose was written. Let's read from scriptures:

NO MATTER HOW MUCH I STUDY FOR EXAMS I STILL FAIL

NO MATTER HOW MUCH I STUDY FOR EXAMS I STILL FAIL

"Pastor, no matter how much I prepare for an exam, I end up failing. What could be the problem?"

Oh wow! Sorry about that. But just so I don't assume that it's a spiritual thing, let's touch a few possible causes:

1. MODE OF ASSIMILATION

One of the greatest things I discovered about myself after my secondary school education was that learning through theoretical explanations was difficult for me.

At that time, I enrolled for a professional computer course, and I had failed about nine exams before I realized this. I would read and prepare for exams like every normal student, only to get to the exam and feel as though I didn't prepare at all. At first I thought the course was too much for me, but then I realized that it was the mode of assimilation.

Months later, I pleaded with the school engineer - who at the time gets external projects, to take me along to project sites so that I could have hands-on experience. The more I interacted with real life scenarios, the better I got in assimilating the theories that was taught both in class and the handouts.

With time, I began to redo the exams I failed. And yes, I passed. As at the time I re-sat for the exams, I wasn't trying to analyze the theories in my head, I knew exactly what the questions were referring to because I had interacted with them in real life.

Because I had already gathered real life experiences before we completed the 9 months course, I was retained as an IT assistant in that school after the program. It wasn't long before I was assigned to a class to teach new students.

MY SALARY IS SO SMALL, I DOUBT THAT I WOULD EVER HAVE ENOUGH TO PROMOTE THE KINGDOM

MY SALARY IS SO SMALL, I DOUBT THAT I WOULD EVER HAVE ENOUGH TO PROMOTE THE KINGDOM

"Pastor, my salary is so small, I doubt if I'd ever have enough to promote the kingdom. What do I do?"

One of the greatest secrets you'd learn about this kingdom is that God grants us access to the riches in this world to test our faithfulness. No matter how much or how little you get, the test is the same for all. Let's see how scriptures put it:

Luke 16:
11. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

So there's something called true riches, and from that scripture, it is not the kind of riches that we have in this world, but the kind that is bestowed upon us by the blessings of God. The bible says "the blessings of God makes rich and adds no sorrow to it". The fact that you're worried about insufficiency already tells me that you've not gained access to true riches yet. You can't have access to true riches and still be worried. True riches is not sponsored by money, it is sponsored by the blessings of God. So even if you lose all the money in your account, you'd still be rich. If they can't take the blessing, then they can't take the riches.

God's agenda is to grant us access to true riches, but the condition is that we must be faithful in using unrighteous mammon, especially to the advantage of His kingdom. The Amplified version of that scripture says "Therefore if you have not been faithful in the use of earthly wealth, who will entrust the true riches to you?".

So, it's not about how much you earn, but how you use what you earn to the advantage of God's kingdom. As earlier remarked, whether you earn little or much, the test of faithfulness is the same. For the full article, please visit

I MADE A VOW TO GOD THAT I COULD NOT FULFIL

I MADE A VOW TO GOD THAT I COULD NOT FULFIL

"Pastor, I made a vow to God that I could not fulfill. Do you think it may be the cause of my challenges?"

A lucid answer to this question isn't a short note at all, so I hope you're ready to have a long read😂.

There are very few things God takes very seriously when it comes to His relationship with man, and one of them is a vow. Let's see how scriptures put it:

Deuteronomy 23:
21 When thou shalt vow a vow unto the LORD thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the LORD thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.

Did you see that? If you don't fulfill a vow you made to God, it would be a sin against Him. In Matthew 5:34-37, Jesus referred to this very scripture and told them that making a vow invites Satan to tempt you, and so it's better not to engage in it at all. Let's see how He put it:

Matthew 5:
33 Again, you have knowledge that it was said in old times, Do not take false oaths, but give effect to your oaths to the Lord:
34 But I say to you, Take no oaths at all: not by the heaven, because it is the seat of God;
35 Or by the earth, because it is the resting-place for his foot; or by Jerusalem, because it is the town of the great King.
36 You may not take an oath by your head, because you are not able to make one hair white or black.
37 But let your words be simply, Yes or No: and whatever is more than these is of the Evil One.

Even though making a vow to God is a risk, many important people in the Bible made vows to God and God responded positively to some of them. Hannah made a vow and God responded positively by giving her what she requested. Jacob made two vows and God reminded him of the vows he made to Him. David made vows to God and confirmed that God heard his vows. Apostle Paul made vows.

SOMEONE PLACED A CURSE ON ME FOR A MISTAKE I SINCERELY APOLOGIZED FOR. SHOULD I BE WORRIED?

SOMEONE PLACED A CURSE ON ME FOR A MISTAKE I SINCERELY APOLOGIZED FOR. SHOULD I BE WORRIED?

"Pastor, someone placed a curse on me for a mistake I sincerely apologized for. Do you think I should be worried about what the person said?"

🤣Oh wow! If you're this worried about curses, then don't come to Lagos, because you may get a curse for mistakes as little as stepping on someone. In traffic, even after trafficating, you'd still get a curse for changing your lane. The fact that they say it in Yoruba makes it even more hilarious.

However, since you asked, let's touch a few things. There are quite a number of scriptural principles that should be considered when dealing with the subject of curses. So let's look at a few.

1. A curse cannot work if the person that placed the curse is lesser than the authority over your life.

For instance, the devil cannot curse believers. Instead, if he has an issue against a believer, he'd take that believer to the court of God to argue his case. If he wins, then he'd be given a legal right to oppress you in any way he deems fit, including placing a curse on you.

If the devil cannot place a curse on a believer without a court ruling, then none of his agents can place a curse on a believer without a ruling.

We see a picture of this in an event that happened between King Balak, Balaam, and Jacob. Balak declared Jacob and Isreal as a enemy and hired Balaam to curse them. Let's read from scriptures:

Numbers 23:
5 And the LORD put a word in Balaam's mouth, and said, Return unto Balak, and thus thou shalt speak.
6 And he returned unto him, and, lo, he stood by his burnt sacrifice, he, and all the princes of Moab.
7 And he took up his parable, and said, Balak the king of Moab hath brought me from Aram, out of the mountains of the east, saying, Come, curse me Jacob, and come, defy Israel.
8 How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied?
11 And Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether.

It's important to mention that Balaam wasn't exactly a prophet of God, he was a soothsayer who also believed in the God of Israel. This would also help us understand why King Balak could consult him to curse Jacob and Israel. Unfortunately for King Balak, Balaam understood that the authority over Isreal would make his curse ineffective, hence his reply. He couldn't curse who God had not cursed, neither could he defile who God had not defiled. In other words, his curse can only work on them if God curses them.

If you'd recall, this thing began with Abraham. God promised him that He'd bless anyone that blesses him and curse anyone that curses him.

In a nutshell, if the person who cursed you is an unbeliever, then you don't have a reason to worry. Come to think of it, it was a mistake you were genuinely sorry for.

2. A curse cannot work on you except you deserve it.

Proverbs 26:
2 Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse will not land on its intended victim.

Having established that an unbeliever cannot curse who God has blessed, it's important that I talk about the curse attached to disobedience to God's laws.

Christ didn't redeem us from the law, He redeemed us from the curse of the law. The consequences of breaking the law in the old testament was grievous, many of those who violated were even sentenced to death.

When Christ died for our sins, He took the place of the consequences or curses attached to breaking God's laws, so that when the consequence tries to rise against us for breaking the law, Christ rises against it with His grace. That's why the bible says, "Shall we continue to sin that grace may abound? God forbid!(Rom 6:1)". Jesus will always rise up to intercede for our negligence to the law, but according to Romans 1:28, rebellious people would have to carry their cross after a while.

MY PARTNER IS ALWAYS SCARED TO TAKE GIANT STEPS

MY PARTNER IS ALWAYS SCARED TO TAKE GIANT STEPS

"Pastor, my business partner is always afraid to take giant steps. What do I do?"

Oh wow! While I'm tempted to give you a straight motivational talk, there's really no straight answer to this situation.

For instance, if your business partner is a financial partner, then you may have to endure with the small steps till you've gathered enough to finance big opportunities on your own. In business, he who has the financial power often call the shots.

In Ecclesiastes 9, King Solomon shared a disturbing story about a wise man who was despised because he was poor. Let's see how scripture puts it:

Ecclesiastes 9:
14 There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it:
15 Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man. 16 Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.

Did you see that? Your partner would probably not be afraid if you were going to sponsor the idea with your own money. As a matter of fact, he'd be motivated to contribute once he sees your financial commitment to the idea.

I know you've probably prayed that God should touch his heart. Well, if you didn't get an answer, then it's probably because God isn't going to force anybody to invest in something they are not sure of. That would make Him a controller, not a God. So, until your financial partner is convinced about the giant steps, keep taking the small steps. But ensure you don't quit the relationship, especially if you don't have another stream of income.

On another thought, if he's not a financial partner, then find out the reason for his fears. Most likely, it would be because of the bigger brands you'd have to compete with when you establish that idea. The fear of competition has discouraged and driven many potential business owners back into their shells.

So, if it's a case of discouragement, do your best to encourage him, especially in the Lord. For the full article, please visit

WHY IS GOD NOT ANSWERING MY PRAYERS

WHY IS GOD NOT ANSWERING MY PRAYERS

"Pastor, I prayed to God about something and I was so sure of the answer. Unfortunately, God did not answer. What could have been the problem?"

God answers us when we pray in faith; however, a lack of understanding of how He answers has been the challenge for many believers. Let me show you a scripture:

Hebrews 10:
35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

I often hear believers say things like, "I was believing God for... But...". That's a clear indication that they don't understand what it means to believe God for something. So that scripture tells us, it says "don't cast away your confidence in God, because it will be compensated with a reward". This means that under no circumstances should you stop having faith in God regarding that which you are asking from him, and although it may not come exactly as you requested at first, but your faith will be compensated with something that will initiate the manifestation of that which you requested.

Lets assume you asked God to give you a good wife, and the very next thing that happens is that they sacked you from your place of employment. Someone else may start complaining, unknowing to him that it was the prayer he prayed that initiated that process. Perhaps God has checked you and realized that as long as you have your job, you're never going to consider the poor young lady that lives in the next street. Meanwhile, that lady is capable of making a good wife.

You're probably wondering why God couldn't just tell you to marry the lady instead of taking your job, right? Well, sometimes, God doesn't tell us what to do, He trains and restrains us so that we can know what to do. Human beings are naturally stubborn, that's why one of the most effective ways to transmit knowledge to man is by experience. A man hardly forgets the things he learnt by experience.

It couldn't have been a coincidence that you lost your job just after you prayed for a good wife. It couldn't have been a coincidence that your boss suddenly hates you after you prayed to God to give you your own business. It couldn't have been a coincidence that your child is sick after you prayed for the healing anointing.

There are some requests we make to God that comes with a curriculum that needs to be completed. Verse 36 of that scripture says, "we have need of patience, after we have done the will of God, we might receive the promise". For the full article, please visit

WHAT CAN I DO TO END STRUGGLE IN MY LIFE

WHAT CAN I DO TO END STRUGGLE IN MY LIFE

"Pastor, my life is a struggle. The salary I earn finishes even before I collect it. Please help me"

Oh wow! I'm so sorry about your situation, but I'm sure that God will come through for you if you don't give up on Him. However, just so we don't assume anything, let's touch some foundational matters that exempts man from perpetual struggle.

1. REDEMPTION

Genesis 3:
17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life.

I'm sure you remember the story of Adam and Eve, how they transgressed against the commandment of God and got punished for it. Among the punishments that came upon man is stated in the scripture above.

So it says, "cursed is the ground for your sake; you shall eat in sorrow all the days of your life". This means that one of the ways you'd know you may be under that curse is that you'd be eating in sorrow. To eat in sorrow can mean that you work really hard yet cannot afford a comfortable life, and the worse part is that there's no hope that the situation will change. That scripture says, "you shall eat in sorrow ALL THE DAYS OF YOUR LIFE". That's a very hopeless situation; no matter what is done, the situation cannot change.

That's a lot to take in, but that also explains the position of anyone who is not redeemed. Jesus died to redeem us from the curse of disobedience to the law, which means the moment you receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour, your ground is no longer cursed. Although God cursed the ground because man sinned, but a program was created that exempts certain category of people from the curse, and that program is redemption.

One of the signs that shows if you are redeemed is that your hope will be alive - no matter what is happening to or around you. God cursed man's hope for success because of sin, but He reactivated that hope by redemption. Let's see how scriptures put it:

1 Peter 1:
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

Clearly, man had a living hope before sin corrupted the relationship between God and man, so God restored that hope through the resurrection of Christ. This means that anybody who hasn't received Jesus is operating on a dead hope. He may live to chance, but definitely not hope. No man can be sure of a better tomorrow except a man who is in Christ.

One of the ways you'd know people who live to chance is that they can't boast of tomorrow. They may make plans, but they also know that their plans only succeed by chance. Anyone who boasts among them pay darely for it. King Nebuchadnezzar learnt this truth the hard way; he didn't know that God only gave him a chance to succeed. Daniel chapter 4 has that story.

HOW DO I GET RID OF DEPRESSION?

HOW DO I GET RID OF DEPRESSION?

"Pastor, things are getting out of hand, how do I get rid of this depression?".

You don't get rid of depression, you simply press towards something else, something not depressing. It's true that the devil does not have the power to impose anything on us, however, our choices usually determine our mental and emotional state.

Phillipian 3:14 says, "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus". In other words, you cannot get the prize or blessing without reaching the set mark, and you cannot reach the set mark without pressing. If you are not pressing towards the set mark then you would cheaply get oppressed by the devil, and the devil's oppression is what leads to depression.

To press means to continue doing everything prescribed in order to get the blessings prepared. Continue in studying, praying, fasting, and "faithing", until you receive the blessing or prize you need.

Depression blames an external force for its condition. It is like when an athlete decides to sit on a race track because the other competitors took off before him. If that's the case, then question the reason for your depression. Perhaps you're depressed because your parents didn't pay your school fees, but who told you that your school fees has to come from your parents? Perhaps you blame the government for your joblessness, who told you that the government is the reason why you don't have a job?

DESPITE TEN YEARS EXPERIENCE, WHY DON'T I HAVE A GOOD JOB?

DESPITE TEN YEARS EXPERIENCE, WHY DON'T I HAVE A GOOD JOB?

"Pastor, you won't believe that despite my ten years of experience in my field, I still don't have a good job"

Ofcourse I would believe. Your experience is not a substitute for power. Moses had experienced God in different dimensions, but he could not cross the red sea until he engaged power from God.

Many people are stagnated in life, not because they are not experienced, but because they ignorantly use their experience where they should have engaged power.

Many experienced employees have been laid off from their place of work, not because the company no longer cherishes their experience, but because they cannot afford to keep them any longer. Shockingly, they retain those who although may not be as experienced, but have some level of spiritual authority.

When you have power plus experience, organizations will keep you for as long as you decide to work with them. Laban was ready to keep Jacob for as long as possible, that's why he compromised the marriage between Jacob and his second daughter. When it was obvious that Jacob had to go, he still made efforts to keep him back by trying to manipulating his reward. If his plan was successful, Jacob would probably have no choice but to continue serving Laban until he had enough possessions. Honestly, it's a hard thing to let go a person with power and experience, even if it's a personal decision.

WHY AM I GETTING DEMONIC ATTACKS DESPITE FASTING AND PRAYER?

WHY AM I GETTING DEMONIC ATTACKS DESPITE FASTING AND PRAYER?

"Pastor, I've been fasting and praying for some days now, yet I still get demonic attacks in the night. Does it mean my prayer isn't enough?"

Well, it depends on what you're praying for. For instance, if you're fasting and praying for a house, or a car, or a job, a life partner, or any natural or material thing, the possibility of sending demons away is very slim, and that's because demons are not scared of natural things, they are scared of power.

Demons won't stop attacking you just because God gave you a house, or a car, or even a spouse. As a matter of experience, the more material things you receive from God, the more attack you attract. This is actually one of the reasons why God will not give prosperity to people who have not received the power to get wealth.

In my opinion, fasting and praying for material things is sublime displacement; you should fast and pray for wisdom that would make you a commander in all things. That's right! Man was given dominion over the earth in the beginning, it's just unfortunate that he lost it to Satan. But now that Jesus has become the propitiation for our sin, we have a responsibility to work our way back to that place of dominion and authority.

WHY IS IT THAT PEOPLE ARE NEVER HAPPY ABOUT FASTING?

WHY IS IT THAT PEOPLE ARE NEVER HAPPY ABOUT FASTING?

"Pastor, why is it that people are never happy when fasting and prayer is announced?"

Isn't it obvious? Nobody likes to feel pain. The only challenge is, since the fall of the first man, pain became a vital instrument for accessing God.

According to scriptures, the flesh is an enemy of God, and it will continue to be so until the end of time. When we were kids, we know how our parents would restrain us from even greeting anybody they have a dispute with. If you greet them by mistake, you won't forget the beating you'd get in a hurry. That's how it is with man, the flesh hates God, and so any attempt to reach the Spirit of God would be contested. That's why if a man in the flesh needs to reach God who is a Spirit, he'd need to afflict his flesh with the pain and discomfort of fasting to be able to accomplish that. I wish I were joking, but even God isn't silent about this subject.

In Joel chapter 2, the bible unveils an agenda to advance God's people. From verse 1 all the way to verse 11, diverse potential blessings were listed. God was ready to bless them, but their hearts wasn't right with God. And just so they could receive the blessing, God prescribed a solution for them. Let's read how scriptures put it:

Joel 2:

12 Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

Just last Sunday, a woman met me to extend a new year felicity. Coincidentally, one of the things she said was, "Happy Fasting". My mind quickly ran through the bits I knew about fasting, and the next question that came out of my mouth was, "What is happy about fasting?"

WHAT DO I DO TO MAKE MY VISIONS AND DREAMS COME TO PASS?

WHAT DO I DO TO MAKE MY VISIONS AND DREAMS COME TO PASS?

"Pastor, God told me many things that He wants to do for me, but it's been many years now, yet it doesn't feel like any of them will happen. What do I do?"

Let me begin by saying, one of the reasons why we receive revelations like that is because God wants us to know what's in His mind, or rather, what He is thinking towards us. Perhaps you saw yourself in a dream driving big cars and living in mansions, you saw yourself having a beautiful family alongside a flourishing business. As beautiful as they may have appeared in your dreams or visions, they are the thoughts that God has towards you. Let's see how scriptures put it:

Jeremiah 29:

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

Imagine that someone is thinking of buying you a car. You both probably work together and see each other everyday, yet, you'd never know he's been nursing a thought to buy you a car or even send you abroad. In so

DO I HAVE TO FAST TO CORRECT MY MISTAKES?

DO I HAVE TO FAST TO CORRECT MY MISTAKES?

"Pastor, I know I've made many mistakes in my life, but do I have to fast to correct them? Can't I just pray?"

Oh wow! Didn't you pray before you made those mistakes?🙄... I'm guessing you did.

One of the greatest secrets you'd learn about God is that He deals with us from our spirit, not our flesh. It's from the inside-out, not outside-in. And the reason why many Christians continue to make costly mistakes is because their choices are based on a fleshly desire. What they don't know is, the more they make choices in the flesh, the more they silence their spirit man.

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong in having fleshly desires, but we must filter and edit those desires by our spirit. Let's see how scriptures put it:

CAN I TAKE WATER WHILE FASTING?

CAN I TAKE WATER WHILE FASTING?

It depends on what you're fasting for. For instance, Matthew 5:6 says, "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled". What that means is that your hunger and thirst is not necessarily towards physical food and water, but towards harnessing the full potential of your righteous nature.

That could also mean that even if you are offered physical food and water, there's a ninety percent chance that you will refuse. I remember many years ago when I just started practicing a fasted life, days came when I hated food or anything that gave unnecessary energy to my physical senses. My spiritual senses were much active and I loved it that way. Whenever I saw people who were eating, I'd be so upset with them🤣. I'd say things like, "must you eat everyday? Can't you at least fast for one day?". I understood how Jesus felt when He asked His disciples if they couldn't pray for one hour.

My hunger and thirst had yielded towards prayer and the study of the word. I was always hungry to pray and always thirsty for the revelation of God's word. I just wanted to experience the fullness of my righteousness in Christ.
