Dr. Scott Kalniz has over 20 years of dental industry experience. He started his career as

a practicing dentist with a single location. He then purchased a number of other dental

practices, eventually selling his large dental group to a Dental Support Organization

(DSO). He joined the DSO as director of development, sourcing a number of dental

practice affiliations, and helping build it to over 50 locations. Dr. Kalniz then partnered

with a private equity firm, as CEO and Chief Dental Officer, to create a new DSO. In

under 5 years, it grew to over 110 locations in 12 states. He has also served, and currently

serves, as a Director on several PE-backed company boards. 

Dr. Kalniz holds a DDS and a BS in Business Administration, Economics from The Ohio

Melissa began her career in dentistry over 20 years ago with aspirations to become a dental hygienist. After learning from some amazing private practice dentists, she realized her passion was on the business side of dentistry.
