Artistic Powerhouse - Tsering Hannaford

Have you ever dreamed of turning your hobby into your career? Have you ever felt a little lost, unsure of your path or lacking direction? What's it like to sit across from some of Australia's most powerful, inspirational women and be trusted with the honour of capturing them with your paintbrush? Tsering Hannaford is a seven time Archibald Prize finalist - one of the most prestigious Art prizes in Australia. Her portraits have been finalists every year since 2015 and last year she came Runner Up with a self portrait. Tsering has painted some incredible female powerhouses and is herself an absolute artistic powerhouse. Though it wasn't until one of her pieces was purchased by another notable Aussie creative, Barry Humphries AO (aka Dame Edna Everage!) that she realised she might be able to turn her talent into her career.

Do you or someone you know experience racing thoughts, over stimulation of information, impulsivity, may be an adrenaline junkie? This chat is the most interesting insight in to the mind of a business powerhouse who's using her 'disorder' as her superpower.

Mumtrepreneur Powerhouse - Nabula Brdar - Supermarket Swap

While we know it’s preferable to eat wholefoods and make everything from scratch, it’s way easier said than done! We’re time-poor, with busy careers or young families. We often speak about what is best to COOK, but we rarely speak about what is best to BUY. Nabula Brdar is changing the shopping game! She started studying how additives and preservatives can affect our health, on a mission to help her son. Surprised at what she learnt and shocked to know that chemicals are added into foods that you would never suspect, Supermarket Swap was born. With her background in advertising, working for brands like Bazaar & Gourmet Traveller, Nabs started to educate people about what is hiding in our food. Nabs has now developed what was initially her passion and side hustle, into an app and is successfully building her business while juggling being a mum. Supermarket Swap has been an absolute game changer.

Financial Powerhouse - Trenna Probert

Financial Powerhouse - Trenna Probert

Do the words ‘budget’, ‘tax’ and ‘insurance’ make you cringe? Do you know how much super you have? Why does it matter NOW? Should you go back to work full time after Mat leave? Many of us focus on getting physically fit and mentally fit, but are you financially fit?

Taking control of our financial future is more important now than ever. Women live longer than men. We spend more time out of the workforce caring for others. Though women access financial advice 40% less than men do. It’s delivered by people who talk in a language we don’t understand. It can be expensive and intimidating. There has been more awareness and discussion around women’s economic security, issues of childcare and domestic violence support, but we still have a long way to go. We need to empower women to make great financial choices to be able to look after themselves in the future.

Being informed about our money means we can make choices that allow us to be financially independent and have more freedom in our lives. Mastering our money doesn’t have to be complicated and overwhelming. This episode with Trenna Probert, Founder and CEO of Super Fierce – a powerful movement aiming to empower women to control their financial future and support marginalised women in Australia - is about loving yourself enough to prioritise your financial future, so you can live the life you dream! I am SUPER fortunate to have been able to pick her incredible brain and share with you her insights as to why what we do with our money right now, really makes a difference.

Spiritual Powerhouse - Bianca Zara

Spiritual Powerhouse - Bianca Zara

You never really know what someone else is going through. Sometimes the biggest smiles are suffering most deeply or fighting battles behind closed doors. When I met this goddess Bianca, with her vibrant energy and fiery red hair, I never would have expected the tragic loss, grief and pain she has endured.

Bianca's story of losing two of her babies to still birth is absolutely heartbreaking. However she has openly and vulnerably shared her incredible journey of strength, grace, love and resilience to encourage us all to speak our truths. This episode is in honour of her angel babies, Luna and Atlas and to her rainbow miracle who has brought light to the darkness, Sage Golden.

Are you a People Pleaser? Be yourself and become magnetic

Are you a People Pleaser? Be yourself and become magnetic

You did not wake up today begging for anyone’s approval. Stop caring what others think and start prioritising you. Your worth is not measured in likes - virtual or real life. You don’t have to satisfy anyone but yourself. If it feels good and is true to you, then go for it! Why judging others is bad for you and everyone, and what you should do instead. Free yourself from approval addiction and become the best version of you. Risk showing your authentic self and those who are really ‘your’ people, will be drawn to you. Know your worth, back yourself. You’ve got this.

Social Justice Powerhouse - Isobel Marshall & Eloise Hall

Social Justice Powerhouse - Isobel Marshall & Eloise Hall

Young Australian of the Year 2021, Isobel Marshall, and Co-founder of Taboo, Eloise Hall are fighting period poverty. They are championing gender equality and advocating for safe relationships, sexual rights and respect for girls.

In their teens, they developed the idea behind the organisation Taboo. Taboo now provides access to sanitary products and education to women in developing countries like Uganda and Sierra Leone. 100% of their profits go to providing education and promoting health and menstrual hygiene, to tackle period taboos around the globe so that girls have everything they need to thrive and be the best they can be.

Izzy and Eloise have travelled as far as India and Kenya to spread the word. They are both such an inspiration to young people. In this episode, they share their story and experiences and show us that with passion and drive you can absolutely make a difference in the world!
