F***ing Aboleths. What a ride!
These fun and powerful creatures have such an enthralling and rich D&D history in and out of 5e!

This week Freeman & James get into possibly the most under valued creature yet (in terms of CR) – shadows!
These creatures have the unique 1-2 punch of hitting hard and not taking very much damage and could be trouble in a fight. Plus, they have an ability to create more shadows! Fun and dangerous!
This particular episode also gives James a platform to proclaim his admiration for a particular pulp hero!

In this, the first episode of 2023 we get into a very unique creature in the Grey Render!

In this, the stunning conclusion of Golember, Freeman & James finally get into the statblocks and see if these constructs really are worth their weight in gold.

The fan who requested this suite, Tekale, did so by winning a raffle from a charity stream James did in junction with Casa de Colores Fundraiser.

The Banderhobb is a creature rife with potential. Flavour-country in shadow and flesh salad, read for homebrew vinaigrette to be toss amongst the shredded dark pieces.

Ok this analogy is weird already.

A large portion of the credit for this episode goes to Paizo’s Dungeon Magazine Issue #195, and Steve Townshend, writer of the article The Ecology of the Banderhobb.

This ep we dig into the ancient race known as the People of the Celestial Mantis and their descendants the Thri-Kreen, which is who we’ll actually be talking about and their appearance throughout the editions!
