The Life of a Missionary Podcast

I had the pleasure to speak with Fernando who served in the Florida Fort Lauderdale Mission. He has been home for 10 days as of this recording. Hope you guys enjoy.

It has been almost three years since my last episode, but we are hoping to start it up again here in the near future.

Edvin recently served his mission in Idaho and decided to return after being home for a few months. He shares his story of his decision to move to his mission. 

Seth is an Idaho Native and is finishing up his training in the Air Force. I enjoyed getting to know him and some of his points of view about his mission. I hope you guys enjoy. 

Gabriel is one of the many missionaries that was affected by Covid 19. He shares his experience in the Philipines and how he was sent home when the pandemic started. 

This episode is a first in which I talk to two returned missionaries who served in the same mission and ended up marrying one another. Luna is a convert to the church and has an awesome conversion story while DJ shares his experience meeting his future wife on the mission. 

It was awesome speaking with a fellow Vegas missionary. Gabriela served Spanish speaking and has some great stories to tell. I hope everyone enjoys. 

Meri is from Oregon and had visited Sweden when she was younger and was grateful to serve in Sweden. I hope you guys enjoy the episode. 

Etan had the opportunity to serve in three different locations on his mission. He is a native to Mexico and served in Puebla, Tijuana, and Salt Lake. I hope you guys enjoy.

Tyler was one of the many missionaries that went home early due to Covid19. Although I didn't know at the time, I served in his homeward on my mission. It was great to figure this out and it was awesome to talk with him.

Eric is happily married with a big family. We spent quite a bit of time talking about Mexican food but it was a good time.

Had a good time talking with Carson about his mission and we talked a little about the culture of the Philippines, I hope you guys enjoy it. 

I have know Liana since High school, and I was super excited to talk to her about her mission in Japan. She has been really busy these last few years and keeps her social media up to date. I hope you guys enjoy the episode. 

Chad recently came back from his mission just a few months ago. He still has that missionary spirit and I had a lot of fun talking to him. 

Mitch has an awesome story about learning a new language. I hope you guys enjoy this episode as much as I did. 

I met him in our Spanish ward and I have nothing but good things to say about him. I hope you guys enjoy the episode. 

I have known Zach for over a decade since high school. He is a great guy and is now excepting a baby for next year! I had a lot of fun talking to him and learning about his mission. 

Sierra is one of the many missionaries affected by COVID in 2020. I had a lot of questions about how COVID affects missionaries and she was great. I hope you guys enjoy. 

I met Josh in Boise a few years ago and at that time he wasn't planning on serving a mission. Josh has an awesome but simple story of changing his mind and serving a mission. 

Madison shares her experience of how difficult her mission was for her. I know missions are hard, but when you add emotional distress to the mix, it can become a trial. 

I met Scott on my mission. You'll hear me talking about the little town of Pahrump in previous episodes which is where he is from. I had a good time talking with Scott after 7 years. He left on his mission when I was on mine so it was good to catch up with him. 

Brenton was my first friend moving up to Boise and I had a great time catching up with him. He's a great guy and a dear friend. I hope you guys enjoy the episode. 

I've known Alexa for a few years now and she is an awesome human being. I hope you guys enjoy it. 

Hugo lives in Bolivia which made this episode another remote interview. He is planning on coming to the United States to study in the next few years.

One of my MTC companions who I consider a good friend of mine even though I only knew him for a month. 

Erica was in my MTC district and it has been 8 years since I have talked to her. It was great catching up after all these years. 

Rodney was born and raised in California and served his mission in Africa. He had some incredible and inspirational stories. 

My wife has been on the podcast before but this is her first solo episode. She was on the show with her companion in episode 14. 

Tim gave us a different point of view for serving a mission. Not your traditional reasons for serving but still worth serving. 

I had a great time getting to know Juliet and talking with her about her mission. 

I was really excited to speak with Rebecca about her mission in Hong Kong and I learned a lot about it. 

Bennett is a student and is working as well. He is also an anime fanatic like me. I hope you guys enjoy. 

It was a treat having siblings who served missions on the podcast together. It was a little unexpected for me but it was great. Two very different missions and always a treat to learn about them. 

It was really fun talking with Logan about his mission. I am glad I was able to learn about Switzerland and how amazing it must be to live there.
