Entre Nous

Entre Nous

By Stephanie Lee and Marcus Wermuth

Entre Nous is a collection of conversations about the messy, glorious, baffling things in life. Each episode is raw, unfiltered, awkward, genuine, and most likely nerdy — just like us.

Join us as we think out loud about what it means to be human.

The Gender Episodes - Gender Equality Is An Everyone Effort

The Gender Episodes - Gender Equality Is An Everyone Effort

Advocating for greater gender equality requires all our voices. It's not just a movement for better lives for womxn, greater gender equality benefits men too.

In this episode, Marcus and Steph discuss all the little changes we can make in our lives to make this world a better place. It's about challenging the stereotypes, changing the narrative for children, and really, stepping out of our own assumptions and comfort zones around gender.

What are some things you can do in your own life to create a world with greater equality?

The Gender Episodes - Gender Stereotypes Keep All of Us Imprisoned

The Gender Episodes - Gender Stereotypes Keep All of Us Imprisoned

This is Part 1 of a two-part mini-series on gender.

"Boys don't cry." "Girls play with dolls." In this episode, Steph and Marcus discuss how they've experienced gender stereotypes and reflect on how these stereotypes impact all of our lives.

Listen for: Steph's thoughts on how we've done men a disservice, Marcus on how we all have masculine and feminine aspects, Marcus and Steph on how vastly different the embodied experience is for men and women, and Marcus' personal project.

How has gender shaped your life? What, in your opinion, is the work that needs to be done? What does gender equality look like to you?

Head over at our Instagram (@entrenous.podcast) and share your story with us in a comment or a DM! Or Tweet at us! Why We Read (And the Books We Love)

Why We Read (And the Books We Love)

This podcast began with an article that Marcus sent Steph that Steph obsessed over. Reading is a MASSIVE part of our lives and we're both bibliophiles.

In this episode, we chat about all things reading. Why we read, how reading shaped us from childhood, what we read (spoiler: we're not snobs), quaint bookshops, AND our recommendations for must-read books.

If you've enjoyed the twists and turns of our conversations, you might enjoy hearing where these ideas come from.

Tell us what your favorite books are over at our Instagram (https://instagram.com/entrenous.podcast) and leave us a comment or slide into our DMs. Tag us if you share this podcast with your favorite friends -- we love to hear how the conversation resonates with you! AND, you can now leave us a voice message on Anchor and we'll see how we can work your notes into upcoming episodes! (https://anchor.fm/entrenous)

What We’ve Learned in Our 30s

July is Steph's birthday month, so OF COURSE we had to talk about age, getting older, and being in our 30s. In this episode, we chat about the things we've learned since hitting the big 3-0. Join us as we wax lyrical about getting older, reflects on the influence that our parents' stories have on us, and chat about '4AM friends'. Do you have any thoughts about getting older? What's clearer for you with each passing year? Let us know over at Instagram (https://instagram.com/entrenous.podcast) and Twitter (https://twitter.com/EntreNousPod). We're so excited for our upcoming episodes, too, so please rate and subscribe where you can to get the word out :)
