I've been in a season of expectation. I've been expecting something new to come. I've been expecting greatness to happen. I've been expecting God to put his hands on my work. However, how do we manage expectations? How do you not get over-consumed by what you're expecting? Do I have the answers... no. But I for sure want to present the questions.

This week on the Arts Block Podcast I will be discussing some of the lessons that I learned during Thanksgiving break. While talking to my family about my now and my future, I've gained a lot of wisdom and knowledge. Today I will be speaking on the wisdom that I've gained and how I am currently applying that to my everyday life.

I know life is hard and sometimes you want to rush the process. Trust me I'm the same way. But remember when you bake there's a time on the back of the box telling you how long the food needs to bake. Sometimes you just have to sit back, and let it cook.

IMMMMM BAAACKKKKKK!!!!! And I'm for real this time lol. This season of Arts Block Podcast will look, sound, and feel different than any other season. I've grown as an interviewer, person, and creative. I'm excited for you all to experience the growth and this new journey with me. We're starting this season with just me. I want you all to hear where I've been, and what I've gone through. But most importantly, I want you to enjoy right now, today.

For the finale of Season 4 Mannywellz came on the podcast. Mannywellz is a singer for the DMV however, his music and sound has branched off to many other countries and cities. To start off the season we have my cousin Azel Prather Jr on the podcast. He is a teacher, activist, comedian, and host. At the end of 2019 Azel was on Ellen for his work in the Prather foundation and what he has done with the kids that he has taught. On today's episode we talk about his journey through comedy and teaching, his new business endeavors, and how he can beat Lebron James at haircuts. 

For the bonus episode this season I thought I would end off Women History Month by having 2 Women that are really impactful in my life to talk on the podcast today. Today on one of the last episodes of Act II I have my great friend Santiago Moriarty, he is an actor, artist and all around creative. Today we talk about his time at duke, where he got started in the arts, and why he hasn't been to a carry out in DC.
