On the first full week of field hockey playoffs and the final week of the regular season for soccer and volleyball, Eric and Dan catch you up on Concord field hockey's preliminary round win over Timberlane, preview John Stark's title defense, the logjam for a top seed in the D-II girls' soccer standings and the playoff prognosis for several area football teams. Then, Concord girls' soccer coach Andrew Mattarazzo joins the show to talk about the Crimson Tide's success this season and what his nine-player senior class has meant to the program.

Concord football falls to 0-2 and loses its best player to injury, Bow football picks up its much-needed first win of the season, Bow boys' soccer loses for the first time this fall and John Stark field hockey continues to roll. Then, Concord volleyball coach Maria Wimpey joins the show to discuss taking over at her old high school, her experiences playing at Plymouth State and how that's helped her step into this new role.

Halfway There
As the spring season reaches its midpoint, Eric and Dan discuss Coe-Brown softball's 7-1 start to the season, while Concord continues to roll as well. In baseball, they recap the Tide's 4-0 April break that puts the team at 8-2 on the season. Then they chat about MV girls' lacrosse continuing to have a turnaround season, Bow girls' and boys' continuing to roll, and Dan provides some notes on track, tennis and boys' volleyball. Later, Coe-Brown softball coach Dave Allis joins to talk with Eric about the Bears' success this season and the long-term success of the program.
Keeping the Line Moving
Eric and Dan discuss the 5-0 start for Bow boys' lacrosse, Merrimack Valley girls' lacrosse having already surpassed last year's win total, Concord baseball's 5-2 start to the year and an update on area softball teams including Concord, Coe-Brown and John Stark. Then, Hopkinton girls' lacrosse co-head coaches Gus Madden and Bob Brown stop by to talk about their first years taking over the program after spending years working with the Hopkinton youth lacrosse program.
Spring Has Sprung
Eric and Dan are back to talk about spring sports getting underway in the Monitor's coverage area. They discuss Pembroke baseball's win over Merrimack Valley, Bow and Concord softball getting off to strong starts, Hopkinton boys' lacrosse taking down Kearsarge and Bow taking down Hopkinton in girls' lacrosse in a rematch of last year's Division III championship game.

Eric and Dan discuss Concord boys' hockey's championship streak coming to an end after the Tide's overtime loss to Bedford in the semifinals, the crazy ending to Bow girls' basketball's championship game loss to Kennett and Pembroke boys' basketball coming up short against Pelham in their championship game. Then, Pembroke head coach Mike Donnell joins to talk about the Pelham game and what made his team so special to coach this season.

Eric and Dan recap the previous week's first round and quarterfinal playoff games across D-II boys' and girls' basketball and D-I boys' and girls' hockey, including Pembroke boys' and Bow girls' hoops advancing to the semifinals. Eric and Dan wrap up the D-III boys' and girls' basketball playoffs, including Concord Christian taking home the D-III girls' championship plaque while Hopkinton boys' and girls' seasons came to an end in the semifinals. Then, they preview the start of the D-I and D-II boys' and girls' basketball playoffs and hockey playoffs as well. In the second half of the show, Bow wrestling coach Bill Chavanelle and John Stark wrestling coach Zach Feudner stop by to talk about the success of their programs this season and how they've worked to build them up in their short times as head coaches.

Eric and Dan recap all the action from this week's D-III boys' and girls' basketball playoffs, including Hopkinton boys' and girls' both advancing to the semifinals; they'll also catch you up on everything you need to know in the D-I and D-II boys' and girls' basketball playoff picture in the final week of the regular season and provide updates on the area hockey teams. As we prepare for the start of winter sports season, Dan and Eric get you caught up on everything you need to know. Dan breaks down the scheduling and highlights what we should look for this year. Then, Eric chats with Kyle Scofield, a New Hampshire football official who recruits new referees for the New Hampshire Football Officials Association. He talks about the challenges referees have faced because of ref shortages, why he loves officiating and how people interested in becoming officials can get involved.
