UNREALISTIC RELATIONSHIP EXPECTATIONS
LET'S TALK ABOUT IT!!!
HOT TOPICS AND CRAZY NEWS STORIES!!!
Let's talk about Monique and DL Hughley, Todd Chrisley and his wife, Florida man who mistakes an alligator for a dog and more........
I'm A "Nice Guy", I'm A "Good Woman". Why Can't I Find Love?
Is it true that nice guys finish last? Do you believe that good women get their hearts broken the most? Gator and I share our thoughts on this topic.
FEMALE MISOGYNISTS
FEMALE MISOGYNY
Definition: Internalized sexism. A woman who subscribes to the belief that this is a man's world and women should know their place and stay in it.
If a woman ventures out of her place then it's a man's job to put them back in it. If there's no man around then she will step in to put women back in their place.
She also attributes hyper masculinity to being a "real man" and anything less is just not strong enough to "handle her".
This harmful belief system is more insidious and harder to recognize because it's coming from a person that you would least expect.
The victim becomes the perpetrator of the same kind of oppression that they have endured, adopting the "If you can’t beat em join em" mindset.
Whew!!! I know that was a lot but we're going to unpack this complex and multilayered topic in this episode of Dope Discussions Live.

"Am I Being Insecure Or Is My Partner Making Me Feel This Way?"
It seems that nowadays being called insecure is a big trigger for people. We take it as a sign of weakness or low self confidence but let's look at the bigger picture here.
Being in a relationship with a person who crosses boundaries, neglects your needs and dismisses your concerns can create a feeling of being in an unsafe environment and isn't that the same thing as feeling insecure? (not secured, lacking security)
In this episode of Dope Discussions Live we're exploring the difference in recognizing a person who has their own internal insecurities and a person who is in a relationship that makes them feel insecure.

Spotlight Convo: "I Don't Want A Relationship, I Just Want It To Feel Like One"
Situationships, entanglements, friends with benefits, just kicking it, Netflix and chill, sneaky links......
Whatever we're calling it nowadays, let's talk about it. The majority of these situations seemingly start off as a "no strings attached" agreement but they rarely stay that way. Spending time and having sex with someone over an extended period of time is going to create some form of attachment no matter how secretive it is.
In this episode are two amazingly intuitive and introspective relationship and mental health coaches to have a one on one conversation about their personal and professional experience on the mindset behind the statement "I don't want a relationship, I just want it to feel like one"
They will be sharing with us what we should expect if we decide to get involved and what to look out for if we want to avoid this type of situation.
