TSM167 : Symbols of Self Discovery - Part 1
This monologue was squeezed in while waiting for my son in the car.
In today's monologue I introduce the idea of symbols of self discovery and begin by discussing a transformative dream I had about picking up an object like an Aboriginal sacred stone (Tjurunga). Sometimes dreams like this are purely symbolic but sometimes they also appear to be bringing information and/or energy from somewhere or someone else.
The symbols that occur in dreams like this can occur in waking and sleeping life. They can come with or without warning and have the potential to act as catalysts opening us up to the journey of self discovery.

TSM166 : Psychoses I Have Known
It's been quite a while since I have posted a TSM because I've just been too busy to find time to edit them. But I have made quite a few and had to scrap a good number of them due to the wind. Winter is a real problem for making TSMs because we have wind almost every day. This whole making and scrapping TSMs is really pissing me off but I have no way to minimize the effects of the wind with my iPod. I was going to scrap this TSM because of the wind but decided that given it's length and the subject matter, fuck it, it's staying. So there is a little wind here, the sound of a zipper flapping and there and the last 5 minutes is full of wind.
So, in this TSM I explore some psychoses I have known in people that I have previously worked with and other people that I have known and talk a little about what I think psychoses might mean. All names have been changed and even though I make some judgments of the people I discuss, I had respect for all but 2 of them - who I felt we
TSM165 : The Relationship Between Perspective & Perception
Have you ever thought about how your perspective effects your perception ? Perspective is THE critical ingredient in changing perception ! In this episode I explore how simple changes in perspective change our perception and how you can create your own conscious shifts in perception.
Enjoy !

TSM164 : The Ultimate Explanation Behind Chemtrails and CO2 Driven Climate Change
Have you ever wondered about the link between so called Chemtrails and CO2 Driven Climate Change ? In today's monologue I offer you the ultimate explanation for why there are more so called Chemtrails and why CO2 may have risen.
This TSM was made at the end of a long hard day while out walking on the first night of winter ! So if I sound a little worn out, it's because I was !
Enjoy !

TSM163 : Memory, the Story of Me and Sleep
In today's night time walkalogue, I explore memory, its connection to the story of me (your story) and sleep. I speculate on a constellation approach to understanding how memory works, memory and time and the function of memory. I explore how we construct our personal narratives and how memory relates to the overall story of the self. Finally I look at how we approach sleep, what our expectations of sleep are and what we can do to engage memory and imagination prior to sleep, in order to strengthen memory and live the ignored and un-noticed parts of our day as completely as possible.
Enjoy,
Sleepy Bright. ;-)
PS. Update. I noticed in my tiredness I referred to the Penrose map instead of the Penfield map.
TSM162 : Inside an ET Craft – Muajra : Part 1B
In tonight’s at home monologue I continue describing the inside of Dude’s craft, discussing such issues as craft levels, types of rooms, atmospheric variables, windows, onboard map projections, viewing loved ones, other projections, surfaces, visitor well being, opening and closing doors and communicating with the craft. I trust that by the end of this audio, you will understand that Dude's craft is more than just a smart machine or an advanced form of AI and see that it is a living caring being !
Forgive me for sounding a little tired. I had a long day outside in the sun rebuilding a shed !
Enjoy !

TSM161 : Inside an ET Craft - Muajra : Part 1A
Today's walky talky is the beginning of a small series of monologues in which I will try to describe the inside of a number of ET craft. In tonight's monologue I describe the inside of Dude's craft, which you will recall is a living sentient craft and was created or grown for Dude to assist him in his diplomatic work.
Enjoy !

TSM X : Memories of Hong Kong - Part 1
I was working outside in the hot sun today and after lunch I had some free time, so I decided I would make a monologue about some of my childhood memories of Hong Kong.
This is the first part of an ongoing series on my memories of Hong Kong between 1980-1993. This first one is a bit of a rambleathon and my head had been cooked by the hot sun, so I may have made a few small errors in factual details. But none the less, after listening to this, I think you'll have a good sense of what it was like to live in Hong Kong as an expat kid in 1980-1982.
Be warned, this recording contains references to testicles, toads, BMX, stealing Hell Money, a crazy eyed Chinese lady by the name of Yisi Olin, a phlegm spitting Chinese guard, a gambling black man, Atari, Atari Asteroids, Paddle Tennis, Atlas Moths, Cinese Cobras, shooting kids with plastic bullets, a Chinese boy called Bong, dismembered ships, Chicken Hawks and my dominance on the BMX circuit.

TSM160 : The Inner Self
In today's bloated (O man I feel full !) walkalogue, I explore the idea of the inner self / the inner life / the inner world or the internal self / internal life / internal world. I speculate on the nature of this strange separation between inner and outer, how inner and outer influence one another and some possible distinctions between the inner world of the body and the inner world of the mind. I ask how the conscious and unconscious aspects of our mind might exist and interact with one another and what the changing nature of the inner self means for our identity and our overall sense of self in life and death.
Enjoy ! ;-)

TSM159 : Using Sound to Anchor Ourselves into the Day and the Present Moment
Into today's walkalogue I talk about how we can use sound to anchor ourselves into the day, right from the beginning when we wake up and how we can use sound to fully engage with the present moment as we go through our day. This could have been a 1 minute monologue but as usual there are my observations of the world around me - including the sunrise, storm clouds, Boo ants, a snake skin and snake holes and the birdies. It is my intention that the many different sounds in this walkalogue provide you with a full immersion in the world of sound and an opportunity to start cultivating awareness !
Happy trails !

TSM158: The Sword of Damocles and True Power
Today I use the myth of the Sword of Damocles to explore the nature of power and the true power that we all carry inside of us. It's been a long while since I read about this myth, so I might have skewed a few details. But you'll understand what I'm suggesting.
I dedicate today's walky talky to Julia ! Thanks Julia for your seemingly endless support ! It seems like you've been there right from the beginning ! Love to you my friend !
Enjoy folks,
Brightus Garlicus the Younger, Philosopher. ;-)
TSM157 : Generating an Awareness of Stillness
Be warned - there is a lunatic at large in this monologue !
Today's slightly psychotic talky, is an experiential exploration of the speed of thought and how to generate an awareness of stillness and its symptom - silence. This monologue was made at night outside, just before bed. Unfortunately my lunacy had to be contained because it was a perfectly still quiet night and I didn't want to upset any animals or my son. So what you will hear is a muffled version, which was not nearly as fun to record as a full throated cookie monster yodel may have been ! But despite this, I think you'll get my point.
For those of you who seek a calmer mind, this monologue may provide a little help.
Long live Cookie Monster !
TSM154 : Remembering Susy
Today's second monologue is a bit different because it's intensely personal.
Tomorrow is my sister's birthday and to honour her memory I offer this reading of a few of her letters, so that you might know a little of who she was.
TSM153 : A View of Two ET Worlds, Too Many Too Many and The Meaning of Peace
Be warned, the wind has ravaged me yet again on today's walk and I tell you what, it's really pissing me off ! I couldn't tell how the wind was with this recording until I returned home. I was tempted to scrap it but given how long it took, I decided to keep it. I'm afraid you'll just have to cope with the wind when it flares up, if you wish to listen to today's monologue.
In today's rambleathon I talk a little about the two ET worlds I've been taken to visit, the problem of what to do when there is too many living beings of one type type or another and the meaning of peace in our lives. I don't offer any solutions to the issues of species numbers and peace but urge you to consider how we actually are with these things and how each one of us may come to a place of finding solutions to these things.
TSM152 : Friends From Far Away
This TSM is very short by my normal standards and really speaks for itself. This TSM is a kind of intro for the next one about friendship and some of the remarkable people I've met through my blog.
TSM151 : Life Force ET Contact and An Introduction to the Trialtar People
I'm putting TSM151 in front of the TSM150, as I accidentally deleted something from the final render of TSM151 and have to edit it again.
***
Those of you who are familiar with my blog or the TSMs will know that I rarely give you a direct and full explanation of how to make ET contact. Instead I sketch out the many different aspects of self awareness that will help you make contact. (I'll give full descriptions in future contact audio and in the contact book).
In today's night time monologue (which was made during a light contact session - that is, one at the end of a long tiring day), I give you a simple overview of another way of making contact using the life force. Some people will get this and some people won't !
In addition I share a little about what I learned about a new race via a telempathic contact session I had the night before (which also included seeing a series of blinkers).
Perhaps in a later TSM I c
TSM148 : The Joy of Walking
In this walky talky, I explore the notion that we can actually walk without distraction or the desire to label. I've been an avid walker for 37 years and it's my desire to encourage you to share in the joy of walking.
WARNING : Sony Walkman, Michael Jackson and Motley Crue make an appearance in this monologue !
TSM147 : You Are and Are Not Your Story
In this late night talk, I explore the idea of how our stories shape our identity. One of the great mistakes we humans make, is to mistake ourselves or misidentify ourselves with who we think we are. And who we think we are is either our stories or some transcendent jewel ! On the one hand you are not your story but on the other hand you are. More than each, you are both.
I was very tired when I made this monologue and unfortunately my battery died, while I talked for another 20 minutes unaware and got up close and personal with 3 possums who were having a fight ! So the monologue ends abruptly. But I think you'll understand where I was going.

TSM146 : The Relativity of Our Humanity
In this monologue I introduce the idea that there is a relativity to our humanity.
Many humans like to believe that we are more than human and that's all, while others argue that we are merely a living organism and nothing more. I argue that we are both transcendent and ordinary ! Some people try so hard to be more than human and forget their humanness - at great cost ! While others revel and suffer in their humanness, ignorant of other aspects of their being.
We humans also believe that we are separate and forget that we are defined by our relationship to each other and the natural world. We are in relationship with all of existence ! We become consumed and preoccupied by our roles and forget that they are created by relationships.
There are many people who didn't receive what they needed to feel like whole human beings. I ask if it's possible to reskill people in love and intimacy to create new bonds and attachments in groups of people who ar
TSM145 : The Cancer Personality
Last Thursday and Friday I had a follow-up visit to the hospital where I have my treatment and scans. On the Friday, with several hours of free time, I decided to make a commentary about the people I was observing and what I think of as The Cancer Personality. This is an idea I've been exploring for more than a decade and an observation that I may have made about my self once upon a time ! You may think I'm judgemental in my comments and that was certainly not my intention. Of course I know nothing about the suffering, resilience, hopes, desires or struggles of the people I observed. What follows is my observations as a writer and as a human being who has taken a similar, albeit different journey.
Distinctive personalities might be found in any number of acute and chronic illnesses. My guess is that certain constellations of physical, psychological and emotional traits and experiences, might one day be found to align well with certain illnesses.
TSM144 : Aloneness & Loneliness - Symptoms of the Human Condition
This monologue gets off to a bit of a rambling start with my venting about killer feral cats etc. but 13 mins in, things begin proper.
The issue of aloneness & loneliness is an issue that is close to my heart. In today's walk and talk I approach the issue of aloneness & loneliness by talking about my son's life (with his permission) and my own adolescence. I'm often amazed at how sometimes, our children mirror our own lives. What is aloneness & what is loneliness and how does our authentic self relate to the experience of loneliness ? Does loneliness only happen to introverts or are extroverts equally vulnerable, to this most painful symptom of the human condition ?
Loneliness is a universal experience. Today I ponder some potential solutions to loneliness and speculate as to whether whether or not loneliness plays a significant role in our lives.

TSM143 : The Shocking Reality of How Things Are & The Seasons of Life
Sometimes we try and turn away from the shocking reality of how things are. But how things are is how they are. Isness is a powerful ally !
In this walk and talk I explore how nature's seasons and the cycles of nature, parallel the seasons of our life and how we all face the same seasons of life, as part of the seasons of the human clock - from the cradle to the grave.
I offer a tour of the seasons here on this land and suggest how facing the shocking reality of all that nature brings, helps us to face the shocking reality of how things are in our own life. I suggest that the seasons of nature and of human life are necessary to create awareness and to help us grow. Life is both predictable and unpredictable and if we have courage, we can stay open to anything that life might throw at us.

TSM141 : Filters Through Which Humans Perceive Contact with the ‘’Other”
I recently read Robbie Graham's excellent book UFOs' : Reframing the Debate https://www.amazon.com/UFOs-Reframing-Debate-Robbie-Graham/dp/1786770237 and felt the need to explore the theme of how we perceive contact with the "other", while out walking. When I listened to this monologue I realised it was so full of wind, that I'd have to can it (which is something I've done to about 20 monologues). But given it's a long one (1:45:50) I decided to keep it. So please be warned, it's full of wind in places and there was nothing I could do to prevent it or edit it out.
In this walk I take up the issue of how humans perceive and make sense of contact with the other. We could call the other ET but it's not always clear at the time or after, that that's exactly what it is. I ask how conditioning, belief, perception and self awareness determine how we make sense of an experience. I also suggest
TSM139 : The Importance of Human Drama
All spiritual traditons emphasize the importance of freeing ourselves from drama because drama causes suffering. I beg to differ. Drama helps us to grow and suffering is OK. In today's walky, I explore the importance of human drama and how drama reshapes our entire identity and experience of being human.
