Singing with Zechariah
In our second Advent episode we dig into Zechariah's song in Luke 1:67-75 and think about what it means when God comes to town. We talk about Advent being the end of vague spirituality, the end of self help, and the end of fear. We also address the controversial question of whether or not all dogs will go to heaven. Thanks for listening!
Singing with Mary
Our next four episodes will focus on Advent, the time of year Christians reflect on Jesus' first coming and anticipate his second coming. In this episode, we talk about what Advent is and why you shouldn't feel pressure to make it perfect for you and/or your family. Then we get into Mary's song in Luke 1:46-55. Mary shows us that God's redemption has come in a way that no one could expect, and he is about to fulfill all the hope of Israel in her baby boy.

Searching for Biblical Community
WE ARE BACK. After a long hiatus, we're up and running with our last episode in our series on how to grow as disciples. In this show, we talk about where community comes from and why it's important. We also talk about what happens when we want community to be a certain thing and find out it is definitely NOT that thing. We also dangerously broach the topic of why your community shouldn't be a bunch of people who share the same political opinions as you do. Enjoy the show.

Praying for the Little Things
Does God really care about all kinds of prayer? Even the little things--the physical and non-spiritual things? In this episode, we share a few passages that show God not only cares about the little things but even commands us to pray for them. We also tell some stories from our life about how God has answered prayers for everyday things.
