Episode 10. The Hero Within (w/Bud Brutsman)
On the show today I welcome Bud Brutsman. For nearly the last 30 years, Bud’s been cranking out some of the industry’s most dynamic programs totaling almost 350 TV Shows! From hit series like Overhaulin and Rides to mixed martial arts, King of the Cage and Shark Fights, Bud’s a high energy, type A personality with no signs of stopping! He’s also written 3 books on the Navy SEALs; plus created a special task force to rescue climbers on Mt. Everest and in Baja-there’s really no limits to what this guy can’t do. And it’s fitting because, Bud has a Hero component built into the fabric of his psyche. He’s not the loudest one in the room, but he’s the hardest working. And I love that in many ways, through his actions, he’s asking us all to find our “inner hero.” Let’s find out what makes this guy tick as Fully Alive gets the green light…right now!

Now at the ripe, young age of 58, he’s a new Dad with a new purpose. As Nick begins transitioning out of Real Estate, his focus has shifted toward coaching and being a strategist for some of the biggest names & companies out there. About:
On the show today I welcome Erin Coscarelli. As a TV host and sports broadcaster, Erin has had the good fortune of interviewing some of the greatest athletes of our time and covering some of the most coveted sports events in history, including the last 5 Super Bowls for the NFL Network. Prior to the NFL, Erin worked as an anchor and reporter for NBC Sports in the Bay Area covering all the San Fran Pro Teams. Additionally, she’s worked as a sideline reporter for college football with Fox Sports, the Pac 12 Network, the Summer X-Games and the World Series of Poker for ESPN. But what I’m really curious about is how does she find her voice in the midst of an intense male-sporting culture? Has the treatment of women in these environments improved or has the “me-too” movement been muted? What are some of the challenges and hurdles she’s faced to overcome adversity? We’ll tackle all that and so much more as we go “Live with Erin Coscarelli”
Episode 6. Music is Medicine (w/Wes Geer)
member of Hed P.E and touring guitarist for the legendary band, Korn. He’s
traveled to 42 countries and played in front of crowds of 80,000. However, it’s his
current endeavor that really struck a “chord “with me. On 12/12/12, Wes created
“Rock to Recovery” using Music as Medicine. After hitting rock bottom himself
and getting sober, Wes had a vision to transform lives through the powerful,
healing, consoling experience of music. R2R works with veterans, the youth and
those working to overcome all forms of addictions, disorders and a variety of
mental health issues. Plus, their program extends internationally through the Air
Force “Wounded Warrior” program. R2R holds approximately 500 sessions a
month writing and recording original songs on the spot to promote happy, healthy
brain chemistry. Let’s see if we can get this episode to “go to 11.” This
is…”FULLY ALIVE.”

right? But what if I told you that this revolutionary concept was birthed from him
going through one of the most devastating experiences of his life. Months after
his first company went public, Martin found himself paralyzed on his couch in a
massive, deep-depression. He went to sleep a successful CEO and awoke days
later to being a mental health patient with no recollection of time passing. This
incident launched him into a deep dive of our mental health care system and how
we treat the mentally ill in our society. Find out what happens when a tech giant
brings innovative, Silicon Valley style disruption into an outdated Health Industry.
