Let us Entz-ertain you
Join Jack and Kai as they host three generations of Merton College JCR Entz reps - Ben Gowers, Joe Hyland Deeson and Hannah Sirringhaus in a conversation about the role as they definitively prove that Merton is the exact opposite of where fun goes to die.
The Sound of Oxford
Federico and Siddhant host an episode discussing music at Oxford with Guy, Eppie and Jules. Guy and Eppie are a part of the Merton College Choir and Jules is active as an electronic musician. Some highlights include balancing musical endeavours and an Oxford degree, conversations with Katy Perry and Yo-Yo Ma and what our guests' musical futures hold.
The 7 Stages of Lockdown
We took a week off but we are back and better than ever! The original Faces for Radio gang from the first episode reunite for this, the halfway point in the series, and have another big discussion, this time about the only thing on everyone’s lips right now - lockdown. We talk through the 7 stages of lockdown, from denial to hope and everything in between. Tune in for some relatable discussion and anecdotes from 5 students trying their best to navigate these crazy times.
All About Access
Laura and Jack are joined by Rebecca, Merton’s Access and Equal Opportunities Representative, and Olly, who has been involved in a number of access and outreach initiatives, for a discussion about the access issues facing our university. We talk about some of the barriers students face in reaching their full potential, how the COVID 19 pandemic has exacerbated some of these pre-existing problems and the fantastic work that is being done to address this and make Oxford a more accessible and inclusive community.
Their Last Laugh
Jack and Siddhant are joined by Adrian and Conor who discuss being an Oxford finalist in these times and everything that entails - exam arrangements, drastic hair alterations, what they'll miss about Oxford and the future (including becoming a steam train driver). Tune in to what we're rather dramatically calling their 'last laugh.'
Big Ideas
This episode is all about innovation, entrepreneurship and big ideas. Kai and Fed are joined by Julia, who has developed several apps, and Mario, the founder of an international youth network, to discuss how they brought their bright ideas to fruition, how they manage these projects alongside their studies and their long term aspirations. We apologise for some lapses in audio quality during this episode - Mario decided to record himself in the middle of the Costa Rican jungle!

As a blue. . .
Laura and Kaiyang are joined by Arundhati, a fresher, to discuss actively participating in sports while at Oxford, including but not limited to how they started, balancing practice and academic life and the challenges they're facing keeping up their involvement with their respective sports during the lockdown.
The 'blue' in the title is a reference to an award of sporting colours for participation in specific sports at a high level. Laura is a squash blue and Kaiyang is a football blue.
The Perfect Day
We begin where any miserable Oxford student that wants to start an entire podcast talking about Oxford would - our ideal day in the city. We introduce the podcast and go over specific things that we miss about Oxford which would make our perfect day there. This naturally gets us talking about the beautiful meadows in the city, libraries, ATS, kebab vans and a whole lot more.
