I spoke to local musician James Howard about his music and thoughts on Suffolk life.

It was nice to have a chat and a beer with such a lovely chap before at least a month of lockdown. The interview took place on the final nights of pub's being allowed to be open just prior to James playing a gig.

Originally from Dundee Adele has settled in Suffolk after moving here a few decades ago. Working with in Humanist funerals and Death cafes she has a great outlook on life and some interesting stories to tell.

I caught up with Darren Smith. A man who has been heavily involved in the Ipswich music scene for well over a decade. A musician, DJ, promoter and so much more.

He has been the driving force of the Ipswich metal scene since he fell into promoting after putting on his own bands gigs, forming Deadsoul Promotions who champion not only local bands but bring bands from across the globe to our area.

Stephen was born and bred in Hadleigh Suffolk. He has lived there all of his life but had several jobs and always kept busy. He currently runs 'Pre-loved' an online used furniture business and runs The Brewers Arms Ipswich with a friend. We chat about his life and his thoughts on Suffolk life.
