Let’s reflect on the past ten years since the earthquake & where we currently are and in comparison to where we want to be in the next ten years.

Dear Haitian People, Jouvinal Moise is the current president of Haiti 33 months & counting. “Let’s not repeat 1986 era with BabyDoc.” People has been asking for a dialogue over a year & he’s been avoiding to do so by sending other people to speak on his behalf. The UN of St. Lucia has requested a national dialogue as well. He’s put together a committee of people to represent him & to speak on his behalf; where 4 of the members of that committee has resigned. 🤔. Politicians admits to accepting money & vote buying is a common practice. Shortly after the people of Haiti began rioting for J.M. to step down. He’s been facing protest his entire time in office. Venezuela aid program: $4B - 2008 could have repaired the country. Gov. audit shows embezzlement schemes. No Justice smh Currently week 6 in protests... inflation has risen 20%. Gas cost is as high as $16/Gallon* Lack of fuel/light in hospitals for generators Worst crisis aside from earthquake that has hit Haiti in our time. Over 2 million kids not in school since School started in September. Roads are cut off. Burnings and riots everywhere. There’s a trailer blocking the boarder to DR from Haiti. My hometown, Jacmel has bedsheets up to prevent outsiders from entering their city. Students at the State University in PAP on a hunger strike. Haiti currency continues to depreciate. The lack of Food and medicine in parts of Haiti due to the current state that it’s in. Haiti owes $130M in Fuel ⛽️. U.S. Tax $ has always been involved in Haiti.
