Cut loose of people that do not benefit you!

Cut loose of people that do not benefit you!

Cut loose of what does not benefit you.

Today's episode discusses cutting loose of people or relationships that do not benefit you. We look at it from a perspective of a growth mindset and a fixed mindset. To grow, we have to let go of things and people, and therefore it's okay to mourn and feel pain about certain situations that do not benefit us; however, we have to take the next step forward, which is to cut loose of people that do not align with our next chapter in life.

Social Media is mentally Draining. Tips on protecting your mental health.

Social Media is mentally Draining. Tips on protecting your mental health.

Hey Girls. Over the past month, I've taken a break from social media. And honestly, that has been the best decision of my life. I am more productive, have more energy, and don't feel overall sad and depressed about things that I shouldn't be sad and depressed about. I am convinced that social media drains our energy. And sometimes, we can internalize certain content on social media the wrong way due to what's going on in our personal life. I believe that one of the steps to protecting our mental and emotional health is limiting all social media content consumption. PS let me know what you all think about this podcast. Stay safe.

Mental health (self-value)

If we perceive our self and our life negatively, we can end up viewing experiences in a way that confirms that notion. Knowing we are valued by others is important for helping us think more positively.
