Ep. 14 - Purpose Is A Verb

Ep. 14 - Purpose Is A Verb

Living out your purpose isn't an automatic - even when you know what your purpose is.. Purpose requires intentionality and a fortitude that can continue in the gritty and not so pretty parts of the process. And while purpose is something that God gives us all, experiencing the fulfillment of it takes action on our part. Listen to today's podcast as I talk about following purpose as an action word.

Ep. 13 - God Works As We Work

Ep. 13 - God Works As We Work

Sometimes we can get lost in doing work with God in mind that we're not mindful that God wants to do a work in us. Listen to this episode to hear the food for thought that the Lord gave me as I was driving to set last weekend. As you listen, ask yourself; Do I give God room to do a work in me as I purpose to do my work for Him?

Ep. 11 - Authenticity In Creativity

Ep. 11 - Authenticity In Creativity

Are you praying for oil or are you riding the wave? That's the question I got as I sat and thought around the idea of authenticity in creativity. It's easy to look to trends and pop culture to see what's hot and garnering the most likes and views. However, as one who has access to the Creator, are you taking advantage of the creative genius made available through the Holy Spirit. AND, are you creating with God's heart and purpose in mind?

Listen to this episode and ask yourself, "Is my art authentic?"

Episode 06: Communion + Creativity

Episode 06: Communion + Creativity

Before I was a Christian, I was a creative. Prior to being saved I would never pray or consult God about how to use my creativity – outside of, please let it help me be famous! Lol. As I grow in my relationship with Jesus, He’s always showing me why time with Him is the most important component in, not only my life as a Believer but, my life as a creative. Communion with God connects us to His heart concerning us, others, and our art.

Listen in as I share some thoughts on Communion + Creativity.

BONUS Episode: Sofia + Celie

BONUS Episode: Sofia + Celie

It took me a minute to process my thoughts and feelings surrounding the current events: fight against systemic racism and the Black Lives Matter movement. This podcast is me sharing how the Lord helped me navigate my own responses and how He gave me perspective as I took inventory of my own heart. This is not “the answer” and may not resonate with everyone but hopefully it will help others gain perspective as well.

In addition to the points made in this episode, I’d like to add that we ought to be willing to be stretched outside of our comfort zone. This is an opportunity for us all to grow and show up for each other in ways that we’ve never been required to do before. Let’s lean into being a national and global community of people who lead with compassion, service and love, as we fight for justice.
