This is a can't miss for redraft and especially dynasty players. Which team received Thor's highest 2021 NFL Draft Grade? What was his single favorite pick of the entire draft? Why did Thor rate Javonte Williams higher pre-draft, and does he feel the same with Williams on the Broncos? Can Travis Etienne overcome a bad Jaguars landing spot?(0:50:12) Will either Trey Sermon or Michael Carter take advantage of their prime teams with the 49ers & Jets respectively? 201. 2021 NFL Free Agency Fallout: Most Significant Fantasy Football Winners | Fantasy Football Podcast
The Wolf and The Truth pair up for the first time this offseason to recap a wild 2021 NFL Free Agency, starting with the biggest 2021 Fantasy Football winners. Although players changing teams are unlikely to improve as individual fantasy football players, free agency is always a nice introduction to a new season, which ultimately gets the juices flowing. The Wolf and The Truth kick things off by talking about the Washington Football team and how the insertion of Ryan Fitzpatrick will positively impact their stud wideout, Terry McLaurin. The hosts then discuss a certain team that let over 100 targets walk in free agency, thus catapulting their Alpha WR to new heights and fantasy stardom in 2021. Wolf then touches on Dak Prescott's return, which will bring the fantasy factory back to Big D. They then skip ahead to a couple of running backs who returned to their 2020 squads, which might be boring, but could do wonders for their fantasy outlooks. The two experts wrap things up by giving us their winners... so far. Meaning, players who should be in for a fantasy outlook bump at the moment, but will likely have to watch out for the NFL Draft for added competition. Either way, don't miss out on this episode and get caught up with the old faces in new places as we enter 2021 fantasy football. Check out The Wolf's 2021 Fantasy Football Big Board & Rankings

154. Fantasy Players to Avoid in 2020 Based on ADP ft. Bob Harris of Football Diehards & SiriusXM Fantasy | Fantasy Football Podcast
The Fantasy Fullback Dive podcast welcomed on one of the OGs of the fantasy football industry, Bob Harris of Football Diehards and SiriusXM Fantasy, to talk about his fantasy football players to avoid in 2020. First, The Wolf of Roto Street Journal talks to Harris about his start in fantasy football, which dates back to 1986 (0:03:41), and how his process (0:07:52) and the industry has changed as a whole. From developing a data timeline, to the rise of analytics (0:12:41), Harris explains much the industry has evolved since he began his obsession with fantasy football. Next, the guys jump into Harris' fantasy football players to avoid in 2020 based on FantasyPros' ADP (0:18:44). Harris tells The Wolf why he's avoiding the two pillars of the Cardinals Air Raid, Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins (0:20:10), and why he's targeting Daniel Jones (0:23:14) at his current ADP. Then, the two talk about two future Hall of Fame QBs (0:27:30) and whether or not you should be avoiding them at their current ADPs.  Following QBs, Harris and The Wolf dive into the heavily scrutinized and popular RB position (0:34:05). There, they agree on avoiding Aaron Jones (0:34:26) at all costs, before getting into a debate on Austin Ekeler (0:37:23). Next, the two agree on the bum down in Jacksonville and then they touch on why they're staying away from the talented Devin Singletary (0:45:15). Harris and The Wolf finish the positional group by touching on the middle tier of running backs (0:52:02), such as Sony Michel and David Montgomery. Next, the list shortens when talking about WRs to avoid (0:55:35). But, Harris begins with an intriguing early-round wideout down who plays for the Cowboys (0:55:39) and why you should be targeting other receivers or the running back spot at that price. Next, Harris tells us a later round receiver who he loves and is bound to explode with Lamar Jackson in his second year (01:00:08). Finally, the two wrap up the pass-catching segment by talking about two elite tight ends you may want to avoid at their current ADPs (01:02:39).  To end the show, The Wolf takes Bob Harris through the No Huddle Offense (01:08:01) to get his 2020 fantasy football predictions and takes. - Watch this episode on our YouTube Channel & Subscribe - Bookmark the FFBDPod Homepage

One is a speedster out in Kansas City, not named Tyreek Hill, and the other is another is the original lid lifter, DeSean Jackson (0:48:51). Finally, Boone gives us his tight end who has double-digit touchdown upside (0:51:54), and then wraps up the podcast with his 2020 fantasy football predictions in the No Huddle Offense.  Ultimately, it's a can't miss episode from the most accurate fantasy football expert in the game. - Subscribe to our YouTube Channel for Show Highlights and Full Episodes - Read Justin Boone's 2020 Draft Kit

152. Evan Silva Top 150 Fantasy Rankings Debate + Stacking in Re-Draft | Fantasy Football Podcast
The legendary Evan Silva, now of Establish The Run and formerly of RotoWorld, joined The Fantasy Fullback Dive to talk about his meteoric rise through the fantasy industry, his thoughts on the 'Analytics vs Film' debate, and debate his 2020 Top 150 Rankings with The Wolf. First, Silva explains his career path and rise through the fantasy industry (0:07:11), then the two dive down the 'Analytics vs Film' rabbit hole (0:10:22), while also highlighting Silva's thought process when building his 2020 Top 150 Rankings. The Wolf and Silva then get to fantasy football talk, where Silva names one of his greatest wide receiver risers, who now checks in at WR6 overall, which is much higher than the majority of the experts (0:39:34). Next, he tells us why an important and typical DFS strategy could be and should be used in fantasy re-draft leagues (0:45:37). The fun starts when The Wolf and Evan debate their biggest QB ranking discrepancies, starting with Josh Allen vs Kyler Murray (0:56:37) and why Evan is very low on a future Hall of Fame quarterback (01:04:43). Next, they dive into running backs where Silva thinks one of last year's biggest RB busts will bounceback in his sophomore season (01:08:20), then the two have a hotly contested debate about one of The Wolf's favorite mid-round running backs in Raheem Mostert (01:12:52). Lastly, the two experts breakdown the pass catchers, highlighted by a VERY hot take that involves JuJu Smith-Schuster and DeAndre Hopkins (01:25:12), then whether or not Silva is taking a ride on the DeVante Parker hype train (01:33:37). 151. 2020 Patriots Fantasy Preview + Cam Newton Impact ft. WEEI's Ryan Hannable | Fantasy Football Podcast
We welcome WEEI Patriots beat writer Ryan Hannable to The Fantasy Fullback Dive podcast to get his take on the Patriots acquisition of Cam Newton and what his fantasy impact will be on the Patriots offense in 2020. The two begin the episode by talking all things Cam Newton (0:02:01). What will his impact be on Josh McDaniels' offense? Can he stay healthy for 16 games? And what will his impact be on Jarrett Stidham in 2020 and moving forward? The two then wrap up the quarterback convo by hitting the rewind button to hear Hannable's take on Tom Brady in Tampa Bay (0:17:01) and if he can have a monster fantasy season with enhanced weapons. Next, Hannable and The Wolf discuss Newton's impact on the receiving core (0:18:47). Obviously led by Julian Edelman's fantasy outlook (0:18:56) with Cam under center, who's been notoriously inaccurate on intermediate throws throughout his career. Can Edelman continue to be a PPR monster without Brady?  The two then move outwide to second year receiver NKeal Harry (0:20:55), who The Wolf and Hannable agree could be the biggest beneficiary of this signing due to his strength and ability to come down with jump balls. Hannable follows those two studs up with Mohamed Sanu's (0:23:14) health, Jakobi Meyers' Penny Stock potential, and the two rookie tight ends (0:27:47), Devin Asiasi and Dalton Keene. Could there be any fantasy impact there?  Hannable and Wolf then wrap up the Patriots fantasy preview with the run game (0:31:10), where they discuss Damien Harris' chances of overtaking Sony Michel (0:33:01) and if James White can do his best Christian McCaffrey impression with Newton throwing him the rock. Hannable wraps up the episode with a Patriots season prediction.

We welcome the hysterical Peter Overzet to The Fantasy Fullback Dive podcast to dive into his DFS strategy and most importantly, his fantasy football improv skills. Overzet, who's made a name for himself on Twitter, YouTube and Tik Tok, tells us how he started getting into improvisation and comedy, and how he's separated himself in the fantasy industry with his added comedic flair (02:57).  Then, Overzet talks about his DFS strategy, his new found love for League of Legends (LoL) DFS, and how he goes about building his NFL DFS rosters (08:10).     The Wolf then peppers Overzet with fantasy football-related stereotypes for him to impersonate off the cuff (22:52), including: Vinny the Film Grinder, Stan the Analytics Truther, and the Fantasy Twitter Milestone Man. Following that segment, Overzet does a music association (28:00) and adjective association (29:43) that will most definitely make you cackle.   Finally, the two wrap it up with the No Huddle (33:26), where Overzet gives us his 2020 fantasy predictions, along with a massively hot take for the Arizona Air Raid. We welcome Pat Fitzmaurice, host of the Fitz on Fantasy podcast and Football Girl lead fantasy analyst, to The Fantasy Fullback Dive podcast to get his expert perspective on 2020 Fantasy Best Ball strategy and the fantasy industry as a whole.   First, Pat takes us through his journey through the fantasy industry and gives us his ultimate fantasy process on how he breaks down players and what he values as an analyst (09:36).    Next, The Wolf and Fitz run through somewhat of a mock Best Ball draft (37:56) , where they talk about players to target in the early rounds, middle round wideouts and running backs, and late round stabs. Fitz then goes through his list of players to avoid in Best Ball (01:12:28) and gives a couple of takes at the end.   This involves some excellent fantasy football discussion around Round 2 RBs (Miles Sanders, Austin Ekeler, Kenyan Drake), as well as high-upside WR2s (Terry McLaurin, Robert Woods) and QBs to target late (Teddy Bridgewater and Jared Goff). Fitz then goes through his list of players to avoid in Best Ball, and gives a couple of takes at the end around Tom Brady and DK Metcalf. We welcome back Sports Illustrated's Grant Cohn for the fifth time to The Fantasy Fullback Dive podcast to breakdown all things fantasy for the 2020 San Francisco 49ers.    First, we rewind back to last season when Grant told us Kyle Shanahan was on the 'hot seat' and follow up with the same question following his Super Bowl runner-up season and 6-year extension.    Then, we dive into the juicy news of Deebo Samuel's broken foot, his fantasy outlook for 2020, and which 49ers pass-catcher will step up in his absence. Will George Kittle get an expanded role? Or will one of rookie Brandon Aiyuk, Jalen Hurd, the disappointing Dante Pettis, or a couple of vets step up with Samuel likely sidelined for a few regular season weeks.   Next, The Wolf and Cohn dive into Shanahan's run game, led by Raheem Mostert. Can Mostert shake off Tevin Coleman and Jerick McKinnon? Look out for Grant's extra spicy take on Mostert, who he believes is the next Terrell Davis. Yes, that Terrell Davis.      Cohn then finishes off another electric episode with a 49ers season prediction that is sure to ruffle some feathers. 141. Fantasy Upside & 2020 Cheat Codes ft. Scott Barrett | Fantasy Football Podcast
Scott Barrett joins The Wolf for an outstanding discussion about general Fantasy Football strategy before diving into specific 2020 Fantasy “Cheat Codes.” Last time Scott came on, we got you Lamar Jackson, Austin Ekeler, and Mark Andrews… so needless to say this is can’t miss. The first half is all philosophy, covering why Fantasy Football is a stock market, the best “investing strategies” to “win” in this type stock market (and how it’s different than in real life), and what factors create “upside.” We also look at which players were most likely to bring you to the playoffs, and then to championships, and then ultimately who won you the whole thing in 2019 for crucial takeaways in 2020 fantasy leagues. Then, with our “always chase ceiling” strategy established, we dive into 2020 Fantasy Cheat Codes (43:14). Given rushing “konami code” ability is often key… who has the upside to evolve into Lamar Jackson? Which backs could emerge as a Christian McCaffrey “league winner” if everything goes right? Who might be the next Mark Andrews to join the elite TEs? In the process, we cover a ton of the players at all positions (especially QB and RBs) that we feel drip in the most upside in 2020, including early, mid, and late rounders. If you heard our 2019 interview with Barrett, you probably won your league. Make sure you do the same for 2020. 102. Fantasy Wolves ft. WEEI's Pete Davidson | Fantasy Football Podcast
The Wolf welcomes on Pete Davidson (@Rotobahn), founder of Rotobahn.com and host of WEEI Boston Sports Radio’s Fantasy Football show. After hosting many great “advanced analytical” minds, Davidson brings an entirely different, “film-based” approach. Due to previous work as a professional scout, Pete is a master at evaluating players’ abilities and how they fit into different offensive schemes and with their teammates. Though this may be one of our longest pods ever, it’s completely jam-packed with equal amounts of player reports and different fantasy strategies that can’t be missed, including: How to blend both film and analytics to create the ideal player evaluations Just how athletic is Evan Engram, and why is he set to finally hit his ceiling Is the Curtis Samuel hype train warranted? Why could he have a Tyreek Hill type of breakout? Even before Lamar Miller was gone… what makes Duke Johnson such a fantastic fit with the Texans, and how could Deshaun Watson grow as a passer? Why Nick Chubb is 6th overall on Pete’s board, and why he feels Kareem Hunt won’t ruin this prime set-up Should Miles Sanders or David Montgomery be taken first, and who’s ceiling is ultimately higher? What does Pete see in Royce Freeman that makes him nearly 50 spots higher than his ADP? How to approach the QB position, and why Matt Ryan may be lower on Pete’s ranks even if he’s set up for a great season Plus, as always, we run Pete through the “No Huddle” offense and find out who he’d take at No.1 overall, his feelings on Todd Gurley, the biggest bargains and busts in fantasy for 2019, and this year’s late round pick that could win leagues. This was one of my favorite recordings ever, and I hope you guys enjoy Pete’s in-depth takes as much as me.
