He is joined by EJ and Holly Carter, educators in Ventura County, and Fern Noble

a Canadian Cree Native elder who is respected around the world. 

A bi-racial couple, EJ and Holly Carter, Michael Dalton, a poet, playwright, preacher, and Fern Noble, a Native American elder

tell  stories of their experience growing up in North America.  Hear 

how Michael  was treated as the winner of an award ceremony dinner, and how EJ 

Carter had someone threaten to blow his brains out. Fern Noble tells how

her grandmother was not allowed to speak her language at school, so she quit, but 

spent much of her life praying in three languages.
