Love On The Sidelines (Valentines Day 2024)

Hello fellow Feasters! Solo Cole is back at it again, three years later to tackle another Valentine's Day Movie, all by his lonesome. But there is romance in the air, I can smell it, and but will it be enough to pull Cole out of his lull of loneliness and give him some hope for romance on another Valentine's Day? Well let's find out as our Valentine's Day Feast is "Love On The Sidelines" A Hallmark Movie Classic!

Laurel is out of a job, a roommate, and definitely no romance, but when Star QB Danny Holland injuries his ankle and is in need of a new personal assistant, his big break might be to her benefit! The only problem is Danny's never had a female assistant and Laurel known nothing about football. Who will end up on top in this big game and can they find Love On the Sidelines?

Will Cole find this solo adventure to be a heart warming journey through sports and love, or is will Love on the Sidelines fumble away the chance at romance? Find out on this very special episode of Feasts of Love!

Is Gremlins A Christmas Movie?

Is Gremlins A Christmas Movie?

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Feasts of Film is giving you the best gift of all this Holiday season with new episodes just for Christmas! Cole, Joshua, and Chandler all get together to share laughs, jolly good fun, and duke it out in intellectual arguments to see which movies actually qualify as Christmas movies and which ones are just movies with a little Christmas sprinkled in. That's right it's time to look at some Controversial Christmas Movies!

We are having a special dinner for this fine feast, An exotic cuisine from distant lands, an unusually tasty dish called Gremlins! We will be dining without Randy this week as he was unable to make it but it will still be a very special feast!

When Billy's Father brings him a strange pet named Gizmo as an early Christmas present he is delighted. But with this pet comes some rules; Don't let it get in the sunlight, don't get it wet, and most importantly do not feed it after Midnight! Billy finds that breaking these rules can have dire consequences! Getting them wet creates numerous offspring, putting them in Sunlight kills them, and feeding them after Midnight turns them into gruesome, monstrous creatures. It is now up to Billy and Gizmo to save the town and stop the menace of the Gremlins!

For our arguments each debater will have opening and closing arguments and will argue their side with three points. With only have three minutes for each point our debaters must make the most of each moment! Once the closing arguments have been made the judge for this week, Colton, will give out the verdict on Gremlins. After the debate we will share our favorite moments from the movie and calculate our final score for the film.

We hope you enjoy this episode and look forward to our last Controversial Christmas Movie we will be covering next week!

That's right it's time to look at some Controversial Christmas Movies!

On this fine feast of a time Colton will be going up against Randy to determine if we can deem Home Alone a Christmas film or if this film, like Kevin McCallister should be left Alone!

Kevin McCallister is a young eight year old whose family is coming in for the holidays. Before a big family vacation Kevin has a dispute with his family and is accidentally left on the day of their big trip. Kevin who wished his family would disappear is now ecstatic to have the home to himself, until he finds he's not actually alone. The Wet Bandits, Harry and Marv are coming to town and have chosen Kevin's home for their target. Now Kevin has to take care of himself and defend his home,  alone.

A new format for this Christmas season means new movies so listen in as Joshua and Randy debate whether It's A Wonderful Life is a Christmas classic or if we have been wrong this whole time to consider it a Christmas flick.

It's A Wonderful Life follows the life go George Bailey as he dreams of traveling the world but keeps getting tied down to his hometown. Robin Hood: Men In Tights

Robin Hood: Men In Tights

Hello and welcome to the new year Film Feasters! For the month of January we are going to be heating up some Leftovers, giving you a taste of some pods that didn't get uploaded in 2020! For that reason sound quality, references to events, and jokes may be a little dated. But we hope you enjoy this feast of leftovers as we begin 2021 as Cole and Joshua watch Robin Hood: Men In Tights, a movie that was supposed to come after The Princess Bride! Enjoy!

Mel Brooks adds a satirical twist to the story of Robin Hood in this adventurous tale. Robin Hodo returns to his home after fighting in the crusades to  find his entire family has passed away. His entire land seems to have changed due to the work of the evil prince John who is the brother of King Richard. Robin Hood must form a band of merry man to save his land and the beautiful Marian of Bagelle from the clutches of the Sheriff of Rottingham and Prince John.

Will this satirical feast be a merry good time for Cole and Joshua, or have these leftovers gone to waste? Find out on this episode of Feasts of Film!
