In this week’s episode, I catch up with film and television composer, Jeff Russo. We talk about how he transitioned from rock band musician to composer, and how he got his start in the film and television industry. Jeff also talks about what it has been like working on the television series Fargo, what it was like to win a Primetime Emmy, and more.

In part two of my conversation with Special Makeup Effects legend Howard Berger we discuss how he became involved with The Orville. Howard tells the listeners about the initial makeup testing day with Seth MacFarlane and Jon Favreau. He also highlights how he earns production's trust which enables him to continuously think outside the box with his creations. We also discuss his work on Legion and how they came up with the designs and final makeups for the Minotaur and Vermillion. Lastly, Howard answers fan questions to close the show.

This week special makeup effects legend, Howard Berger joins me on the show. Our guest for today’s episode is Anne Nikitin. Anne is an award-winning composer for film and television. Anne recently completed the score for American Animals, which will be premiering at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Anne also scored BAFTA winner The Imposter, the Sundance Audience Award winner Dark Horse, and the Netflix true crime series Captive. Her upcoming project Calibre, starring Jack Lowden and Martin McCann, will be released in 2018.

Special guest this week is Visual Effects Artist, Dennis Davis. Davis is a veteran in the film industry having worked in visual effects for over twenty years. He is most known for his work on Titanic, Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, I, Robot, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and more recently Oz the Great and Powerful. Davis is also a teacher with a focus on digital compositing.

We put an end to a long going debate involving the film, Die Hard. We discuss the latest trailer drops, and much more. On the show this week we have actor Lee Shorten. Shorten is a talented actor who has been involved in thirty-nine projects since his start in 2014. He is most known for his work as Sergeant Yoshida in The Man in the High Castle and as one of Crowley’s Demons in Supernatural. Shorten is also no stranger to the comic book genre of television shows, having been on iZombie, The Flash, and Arrow.

This week we cover the Disney/21st Century Fox merger, the possibility of a Star Wars Original Trilogy release. We also discuss the Star Wars: The Last Jedi opening and the nominations for the 24th annual SAG Awards. Today's special guest is Anne Scottlin. Scottlin is a phenomenal actress, producer, acting and life coach, and medieval historian.
