I want to walk with you as a friend on this journey. If you take the time to hear what God has inspired me to say, and as you listen, reflect, and consider the story of YOUR life while you hear truth, beauty, and goodness, remember that God is there. He loves you. He believes in you.
Part three of pondering our own personalities and Jesus’ focuses on discipline. Personalities aren’t drawn to discipline but we do crave it. Discipline is good for our soul and prepares us for a life of purpose and love. Listen to my thoughts on why we shouldn’t be led by doubts or weaknesses, but rejoice in them because of the goodness and mercy of God who expects us to rely on Him.
Part two on personality involves an interview with Shannon’s Dad, Pat! Pat, a former entrepreneur and current manger talks about being humbled at the age of 51 when he realized Jesus’ personality is the sum of all successful management leadership. Pat identifies ways that Jesus was and is all of what secular management training taught him. The two talk about Emotional Intelligence, business leadership, and how Jesus’ personality was the influence and motivation for his followers to sustain and build up the Catholic Church. The power of your personality is strong and God-like. We can find God’s love and hope in our own creative personalities since He designed them. Ponder the heroic call of being an inspiring and authentic self and contemplate who Jesus really is. *This is part one of a four part series.
Finding, or trying to find God’s voice is this wrestling with ourselves. It’s going into the unknown of our lives, of our hearts. Sometimes we’d rather just search for goodness and never associate it with God. Examples from Frozen 2 and Colossians 3.
