I Am Not My Diagnosis
I Am Beautiful Just The Way I Am

My podcasts provide a first-hand experience of what it is like being a single African American woman who was diagnosed with schizophrenia at the age of 21. Six years later and I am overcoming hurdles every day. Despite these hurdles, I am understanding what works for me and what does not work for me. Within these podcasts, I am providing my first-hand experience of what it is like living with schizophrenia, how I cope and how I find joy through it all.

School Accommodations
In this podcast, I will be discussing the importance of receiving different accommodations pertaining to your mental health. When I was in college it was very hard for me to graduate on my own. With prayer and the appropriate accommodations needed I was able to graduate from college with my Bachelors' Degree in Economics. You can receive as many accommodations as necessary ranging from additional tutoring, time and a half and an Ipad just to name a few. Feel free to talk to your school's counselor or disability department so that you can receive the proper help that you need.

Do Not Neglect Your Boats
Hey GUYZZZ...In this podcast I am stating my view of schizophrenia and how it relates to a woman who was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I also speak about a portion of my testimony and how I knew I am supposed to be on medication. Even though I have had my struggles of being on and off of medication I know that this is the right decision to me. I also speak about the importance of not neglecting your boats. God helps us all in multiple ways so don't neglect the ways that He is trying to help you.

Inner Beauty, Brief Nutrition and Mental Health
Heyyyy GUYZZZ...In this podcast I will be briefly talking about nutrition and how I start my days with a smoothie as well as the importance of drinking warm water with either a lemon or apple cider vinegar. I also talk about my struggles with exercising and how I would like to incorporate walking into my daily schedule as I hope it will lead me into exercising on a more consistent basis. I talk about my personal struggles with self love and how I am learning to love myself despite the lies from bullies and how I am learning that I am beautiful not just on the outside but I am beautiful on the inside as well (I know usually its the other way around). Below is a link to one of my favorite Youtubers, Cambria Joy and she discusses the importance of how just getting out of your house and walking is a great alternative to working out. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fafSiboNjQA&t=2s Hope you enjoy ^.^
