In this episode, Cohen and Josh try something new out where they dive into a passion that is not necessarily directly tied to a career. The passion focus of this episode is traveling/ adventuring. Josh specifically recounts his last trip to Yosemite and why traveling means so much to him. He also shares some funny stories from times he has been on the road.

038: How the Savannah Bananas are changing pro baseball
In this episode, Cohen and Josh take a look at the Savannah Bananas - a baseball team created by Jesse Cole playing by its own rules. The league they play in during the summer is a regular baseball league but how they play during the rest of the year is completely different and much more fan focussed. They have gone viral on TikTok and sold out every stadium that they have played in since being created in 2015. Cohen and Josh take a look at the mind behind them and some of their takeaways from the business model that has been created.

In this episode, Cohen and Josh take a look into the life of Banksy - a graffiti artist who used his art to change the world. Banksy has been doing graffiti since the early nineties an always done it with a meaning - typically something in relation to politics or a global issue. He has accomplished this many times and been able to make a career out of it all while remaining completely anonymous. They analyze his life and share insights on how he effectively changed the world and meshed his passions well.

In this episode, Cohen and Josh take a look at the famous musical artist - Mike Posner. Posner is best known for his hits “I took a pill in Ibiza” and “Cooler than me”. However, he also took 6 months out of his life to walk across the U.S. in 2019. Cohen and Josh share his story from past to present and why doing something like this could be beneficial for everyone.

Daniel is thinking about going into seminary after graduation to be a pastor.

In this episode, Cohen and Josh have on Mark Johnson - the Associate Professor of Practice for Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution and the Director of the Professors of Practice Program. Colonel Johnson spent 29 years in service of the U.S. Military after graduating from Texas A&M and shares his experiences from that and how that translated into industry. He also shares his view about industry and how to properly enjoy what work you are doing and why that is important. Colonel Johnson plans to finish his career at A&M as a Professor.

In this episode, Cohen and Josh interview Nicholas Wright-Eulitt - a junior Finance major at Texas A&M in the Aggies in Wall Street Program. Nick talks about how he came to A&M and decided to go into investment banking. He shares how it works and the internships that he has gone through to do it. Nick also shares the way that he has gotten involved with NFTs and Crypto with big wins and losses. Nick plans to intern at 70 hours a week at Truist Financial.

In this episode, Cohen and Josh share 3 practical life evaluation tools that are useful in discerning purpose and passion. These tools help you take a step back and look at your life and the path that you may be following and whether or not you will be happy with the trajectory. These tools have the intention of aiding in discerning where you want to be in the short-term and the long-term. By utilizing them on a regular basis, you might be able to accomplish your goals in a shorter time frame and following a better more fulfilling life path.

029: Derek King explains Architecture vs Civil Engineering
In this episode, Cohen and Josh have on Derek King - a freshman architecture major at Texas A&M. Derek shares what going to school for architecture is like and how they prepare you for the industry. He also speaks about what made architecture so enticing for him and his passion behind it. Derek plans to finish out his undergrad at A&M and pursue his masters at A&M as well to become a licensed architect.
028: Quantum mechanics for dummies with Daniel Garraway
In this episode, Cohen and Josh have on Daniel Garraway - a Physics major at Texas A&M. Daniel ran track at A&M for 2 years but doesn’t get to talk too much about that and instead spends most of his time explaining quantum mechanics. Daniel shares a lot about what he is specifically passionate about in physics (quantum mechanics) and the effects it may have on society moving forward. Daniel plans to go into research regarding quantum mechanics after finishing undergrad and grad school.

In this episode, Cohen and Josh interview Summer Moon - a Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Science with a focus on Child Development graduate from Texas A&M. In this episode, Cohen and Josh interview Luke Smith - a senior Petroleum Engineering major at Texas A&M University. Luke has spent multiple summers with different petroleum companies involved with different aspects of the industry. Luke takes some time to share about what being a petroleum engineer entails and the 4 different sections that a petroleum engineers can be involved with. He also shares a bit about the book “The Moral Case for Fossil Fuels” and how fossil fuels won’t be phased out in the coming years. Luke plans to work with a downstream petroleum company after graduation.

Ben shares how he tried a variety of things before coming to the conclusion of going into ministry. Ben graduated from A&M with a degree in non-profit management last May but won’t be using his degree in his career moving forward. Ben plans to finish out his time with the fellows program and then go into youth ministry!

They share three key takeaways from Ali Abdaal’s youtube video “I WAS WRONG - How I Set Goals” and their own personal beliefs in regards to setting goals and achieving them. Through their time working on this podcast, the importance of setting goals has become very apparent to both of them. With 2022 starting recently, they thought talking about setting goals in the latest episode would be very beneficial for the listeners and even themselves.

In this episode, Cohen and Josh interview Daine Holsteen - a senior Film and Television Production major at USC in Los Angeles. Daine shares his advice for aspiring filmmakers and what he would have done if he knew what he knows now back in high school. Daine also takes time to talk about what being a Christian in a primarily secular industry looks like. Daine will be finishing out his final semester at USC and graduating in May and plans to work for a production company or a nonprofit based in LA.

Brandon plans to finish his last semester at Baylor while applying for Med School and hoping to be at one soon after graduation.

016: The one secret behind MrBeast's success
In this episode, Cohen and Josh take a look at the life of MrBeast - one of the most successful youtubers of all time. His rise to fame has happened over the last few years when he blew up for videos such as "Counting to 100,000" or "Giving $10,000 to a Homeless Man". His tactics for making money off youtube are not typical as all of his profits go straight back into his videos. Cohen and Josh take a look at the one main reason he is able to accomplish all of his crazy feats and share tangible insight into how you might accomplish something huge too. MrBeast is currently working on a project called "TeamSeas", where he is attempting to get rid of over 30 million pounds of trash.

In this episode, Cohen and Josh have Caden Cantwell - a communication major. Caden talks on the importance of mental health and some of the initiatives he has taken to approach mental health. Caden also talks about his major and how he has tied all of his passions together. Caden is currently finishing his junior year at Texas A&M and hopes to take his expertise into the workforce soon.

In this episode, Cohen and Josh interview Jackson Pollard - a senior Mechanical Engineer at Texas A&M and one of Josh's roommates. Jackson talks about each of his internships with Lockheed Martin (a defense industry supergiant) and a high-level view of what they entailed. Jackson also shares some advice for those looking into engineering or the defense industry while also sneaking in funny stories like how he ruined a couple hundred dollar paint job on his second day. Jackson has two more semesters of college and then he will hire on full-time with Lockheed Martin.
