We simply are not there...
Only kidding, of course we're bloody here - here being your podcast provider of choice - and instead of being a manic, sociopathic serial killer (or not?), we're coming at you with a lovely episode on Mary Hannon's classic, American Psycho. This movie asks so many questions, and we do our best to decipher most of them on this wonderful little episode, so if you like that sort of stuff, you're in for a real treat!

On this week's episode, the boys talk all things Slumdog Millionaire, the Oscar-winning classic from Danny Boyle!
Unfortunately Luke couldn't make it this week so it was down to Liam and Connor to pick apart and discuss this movie and they did just that, talking about the best scenes, filmmaking techniques and stand-out moments. Not to mention giving their respective popcorns, it's a great episode if we say so ourselves.

Mankiewicz, the screenwriter behind Citizen Kane as he rushes to finish his first draft of the script. For one of us, this was, their "film of the year" and this podcast was one of our best too!

50 bloody episodes of First Take Film Club, and for a special landmark like that, it's only apt we discussed a film that is just as special. Thats right, on this week's episode we're discussing all things Casablanca, from Bogart to Bergman, Lighting to Laughter we pick apart what makes this film one of the most famous, and well-known movies of all time.

This was a first take for all three of the boys, and it's safe to say it did not disappoint; ITOET is brimming with minute and intricate details that are desperate to be picked apart and analysed through multiple viewings - it's a must watch for all fans of Kaufman or movies that make you scratch your head and we hope that we did it justice.

We're back!
Albeit with a slightly new, and definitely-not-cynical outlook; as the government imposed lockdown continues, we just couldn't let any more weeks slip by without some fresh, First Take content for you lovely lot. On this episode we discuss how we've been coping with the lockdown, what movies we've been watching and even rank our top 3 Pixar movies. It should be noted that this was very much a trial for us, the audio quality isn't up to our usual standards but we're trying to rectify that for the next episode, which if all things work out, should be coming next week!
