Aiden Flynn is a townie legend, actor and arts administrator. He is the co-founder of the Shakespeare By The Sea Festival, the co-founder of the New World Theatre Project in Cupids and the founder of Rabbittown Theatre Company.

Over the past 30 years, you might have seen his work with Rising Tide, RCAT, New Curtain Theatre, C2C, Mindless Theatrics or 30 for 60 among countless others. He's played everything from your boyfriend to your dirty uncle.

Petrina Bromley is an actor, director, and composer. Long before her Broadway debut, Petrina Bromley stole our hearts with her honest performances and spectacular voice.

A long time collaborator with Artistic Fraud of Newfoundland, Petrina has performed with countless theatre companies including the Stratford Festival, and NAC's English Theatre. 

Her performance in the opening number of the 2017 Tonys reminds us that dreams really do come true.

PS: she is an original cast member of Come From Away- but you already knew that!

Allison Moira Kelly is your favourite. She is another proud graduate of Grenfell's theatre program and often returns to Grenfell campus to teach the acting stream. She also holds an MFA from York University in acting. 

You might have caught her on TV while watching  Little Dog, or Hudson and Rex. You might have seen her theatre work with RCAT, White Rooster, or Perchance -Or she might have cracked you up in a Half Handsome or a Mom's Girls sketch comedy show.

My mom and I were once a private audience for her interpretation of Hamlet's "to be or not to be" monologue. She's your favourite and she's my favourite.

Lynn Panting is the co-host of Flop Podcast, an artist, an arts educator, and arts advocate. In this BONUS episode, Lynn & Mark chat about the planning and process changes that Lynn has had to make to her current project to address COVID-19 health and safety concerns.

Elizabeth Hicks is a writer, actor, and filmmaker originally from Carbonear. She recently completed a Master’s degree in English and holds a Diploma in Performance and Communications Media from Memorial University.

Elizabeth has appeared at Chicago SketchFest, NYC SketchFest, and Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival. Her work has been featured in St. John’s Shorts, the St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival and the Women’s Work Festival.

She is a founding member of the sketch comedy group Mom's Girls, but most importantly she is a nationally recognized table tennis player.

Kevin Woolridge is a Newfoundland-based theatre artist with an onstage and behind the scenes practice that spans over 20 years. He is a past recipient of the Tommy Sexton Triple Threat Award, holds a BFA (Acting) from Grenfell College, and an MFA (Directing/Creation) from York University. In addition to working with just about every theatre company on the island, Kevin created and runs a micro theatre project, Temporary Theatre. Often found at Pizza delight, he is one of the world's great romantics and a treasured collaborator.

Cultural leader, Nicole Rousseau is a queen. She is an actor, director, advocate and the artistic amateur of RCAT. She is the past recipient of The Rhonda Payne Theatre Award and has contributed to more theatre companies and projects than I can list. Nicole approaches her practice with serene openness. She also makes a mean margarita, if you are lucky enough to be in one of her casts.

Brian Kenny is a sound and light designer, technical director and all-round wizard. He is a graduate of The National Theatre School of Canada, The Banff Centre for the Arts, and Sheridan College. Brian is the co-founder of the creation-based Mindless Theatrics and the man behind the curtain supporting many of the digital performances you are currently enjoying in your homes.

He's always there when you need him (if he's not booked already) and he always knows what to order at a restaurant.

Brian Kenny:

Colin Furlong is an actor who proudly hails from Mount Pearl. Colin has spent multiple seasons at the Gros Morne Theatre Festival in Cow Head, as well as Rising Tide’s Seasons in the Bight Festival in Trinity. He has appeared on the series Hudson & Rex for CityTv, and CBC’s Republic of Doyle.

Known for his portrayal of Joey Smallwood in Artistic Fraud's The Colony of Unrequited Dreams. Colin is also a Panto Prince staring in both RCAT's Christmas Pantos.

Colin is however best known for his legendary lipsync performance of Great Balls of Fire in Mount Pearl's 1992 Frosty Festival:

Ruth Lawrence is the Artistic Director of White Rooster Theatre,  Blue Pinion Films, and the NL Arts Scene's ultimate MVP. She cannot be contained, certainly not by a single podcast episode, so here she is for Part 2!

Ruth Lawrence is the Artistic Director of White Rooster Theatre and the NL Arts Scene's ultimate MVP. She is an actor, director, writer and producer for theatre and film. She has generated, fostered and mentored several generations of artists and constantly creates opportunities for emerging and underrepresented groups and individuals.

Ruth has received a Best Actress Award at the Atlantic Film Festival, the RBC Michelle Jackson Award for Emerging Filmmaker, ArtsNL’s Artist of the Year Award, the Queen’s Jubilee Medal for Arts & Culture, the YWCA Woman of Distinction Award and the Women in Film and Television Atlantic's WAVE Award.

She is the only one to beat my record of 3 appearances in The Scope magazine's "Stich Up" feature about fashion. She also once denied Mark a "best actor award" at a high school drama festival.

Sharon King-Campbell is a multi-faceted storyteller and theatre-maker. Originally from Ottawa, Sharon made her way to Newfoundland by way of Sir Wilfred Grenfell College in Corner Brook.

Sharon is a skilled actor, director, writer, producer, administrator, and teacher. But who she is really - is a mentor, activist, ally and community builder.

Feminist Jenn Deon is a mom, wife, daughter, entrepreneur, activist and the Producing Artistic Director of PerSIStence Theatre.

Jenn is the Recipient of the Woman of Distinction Arts & Culture Award (2018) and Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal for Arts & Culture (2013) and spent 20 years as the artistic director of Shakespeare by the Sea Festival. Jenn is a deep cut card lover. 120s anyone?
