S1E2: School Closure – How FBHS and Athletics Are Keeping Students Engaged
This episode of the Hornet's Nest takes a step inside distance learning at Flour Bluff High School during the school closure due to COVID-19. This two-part interview with FBHS Principal James Crenshaw and FBISD Athletic Director Chris Steinbruck brings listeners inside our distance learning and takes a peek into how teachers are continuing to teach and students are engaged and learning at Flour Bluff High School even with school buildings closed. Coach Steinbruck talks about how coaches are helping to keep student athletes conditioning to prepare to resume seasons once school is back in sessions. He also talks about plans the UIL has for playoffs and to continue seasons after May 4.
