Flourishing with a Facial Difference

IT’S MY BIRTHDAY! And today’s episode is ‘24 things I learned by 24’ I hope you all enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed recording it. I hope every one is staying home, and staying safe during this pandemic!

Today's episode is all about why I took a break from recording! I started feeling uninspired and burnt out, but I am back and ready to rock 2020! 

If you haven’t heard, Wendy Williams made a distasteful remark about Joaquin Phoenix and his cleft lip palate. In today’s episode, I gave my response to William’s comment and how it made such a negative impact in the facial difference community. This type of negativity is the last thing that people with facial differences need to hear!

Today's episode features a very special guest, my fiance! I thought it would be interesting to ask him a few questions about what it's like to be in a long term relationship with someone who has a facial difference! I loved hearing his perspective on this subject!

So excited to share my goals for 2020! Instead of 'resolutions' I decided that I would call them 'goals' so they can be easily attainable. I think that a new year is the perfect excuse to change your mindset into a more positive one!

Also with a new year approaching, I decided to do a quick recap of how 2019 treated me! 

Today’s episode is about a few things I went through, as a child growing up with a facial difference. I definitely had a different childhood than most children, because of being born with Pfeiffer Syndrome.
