In this fifth and final episode, we address the role of social media in racist abuse in football. Staying in the Football world we look at how the Coronavirus pandemic has introduced new puzzles to the game. We delve into the debate around Olympic athletes receiving COVID vaccines early and finally how athletes have promoted the trustworthiness of the vaccine to communities who have previously been given reason for distrust.

In this episode we begin by busting the myth that black people can't swim and exploring the rich history of black swimming excellence. In light of International Women's Day we looked at the need for greater gender equality in sport, noting that equality has been achieved before in Inter-war football. Half a century on from 'The Fight of The Century', we commemorate the 50th anniversary of the greatest boxing match. Finally, we discuss the importance of talking about mental health, and breaking down it's stigma in sport.

In this episode we look at the importance of recognising hidden LGBT+ sport stars in light of LGBT+ history month. Turning to player welfare, we discuss the recent conversation around professional football and rugby making players susceptible to early onset dementia. Finally, we unpack the new roadmap out of lockdown and its implications for sport and exercise.
