The Football Drop - WE HAVE MOVED TO A NEW FEED

This weeks report is a sad one, England are out (unfairly!) but the boys analyse the games key moments, discuss the upcoming matches with Argentina vs Croatia and Morocco vs France. The topics get a little deep, touching on HR, Religion, Racial Abuse & more! Oh, and Will is a massive fan boy. 

Another World Cup report drops this week, with review on both the England matches played, plus a few Cup upsets. Ben & Will also add some rubbish about a holiday, hot chocolate, and Will cannot get anybody's name correct. 

The side series during the World Cup launches with the seasoner opener! England have just played Iran and Qatar vs Ecuador the day before, the boys discuss the games, plus their weekends meeting England legend Peter Crouch at #Crouchfest ! The Microsoft Teams malfunctions continue, and Will drops a burp bomb!

Will & Ben are taking a break for the World Cup from the main series, but will be back with the world cup report, and some specials - keep your eyes peeled! Ben discusses injuries, Will discusses international retirement, and Cristiano Ronaldo throws the biggest strop of his career. 

The Football Drop's most popular guest Ali Campbell is back and with a new name, Alessandro Capello! The boys discuss the massive loss Chelsea faced at Stamford Bridge against a dominant Arsenal, a huge shock at Villa Park for Unai emery's first game in charge against United, plus spurs slipping against Liverpool.

With the World Cup squad announcement round the corner Ali set the boys a challenge of naming their own England squads. The boys also call out who they're going to #DropThePod to this week.

This weeks Will takes a wee near the end of the episode, Liverpool's Van Dijk record comes to an end (finally!) and Arsenal regain top spot. Chelsea got out Pottered by the new Potter, and Union Berlin win again! The boys discuss their embarrassing football stories they've experienced, and Ben discovers that the team that scores the most goals tends to win the game. Finally Will & Ben also discuss their actions for #DropThePod this week.

This week the boys stuck to their word and got a brand new guest on the show - Paul Humphrey! Paul calls Will & Ben out on the factual inaccuracies of last weeks' show, he wipes the floor with Will about the 2011 League Cup Final Line Ups, and has a strong man-crush on Jude Bellingham. The Euro round up of course is featured, in addition to discussing what exactly is going wrong with CR7 at Manchester United. The boys also reserve praise for Newcastle who are dark horses for a top 4 finish judging by current form.

The Football Drop podcast returns their recording to a Monday night! This weeks' topics cover a lot of Birmingham City, weirdly, the Euro round up where Will (Guillherme, sorry) thinks Ligue 1 should be binned. The weekly analysis of the weekends' Premier League games, plus El Clasico win for Real Madrid. Did you know Goalposts are made of wood?

The boys record 1 day earlier than usual because Ben selfishly is away for work on the usual Monday afternoon recording slot. The boys talk emphatically about Newcastle & Arsenal, and heap concerns on Wolves, Brentford & Leicester. The big news is about Manchester City's new sponsor, which started in 2017 but only seems to have existed on social media since 2022... sounds legit! Guillherme covers the Euro roundup, and Ben smashes a Champions League themed quiz.

After the international break Will & Ben are back! Bruno Lage has been sacked, Watford have another manager, there has been 2 derby's this weekend, and Real Madrid finally dropped points. A crazy weekend summed up nicely with Will, Ben & Guillherme. Plus, just how good is Haaland, after breaking yet another record in the Premier League...

The boys finally man up and take on the Carolina Reaper challenge set by fan favourite Ali Campbell. The Euro round up returns as usual with Guilherme, plus a brief look at the demise of Juventus. After the tragic news of the passing of HM Elizabeth II, the boys try to look at the highlights and light-hearted moments of her life, whilst still reflecting on the weekends' games across the continent. Juventus madness, 4-1 everywhere in Spain, and Bayern stumble again are some of the games covered this week. The Football Drop x A League Of Their Own game features, a long with some strange superstitions.

This weeks' Football Drop covers the lack of crap Premier League jackets now Scott Parker got sacked, a deadline day round-up and the latest news headlines including the FFP sanctions.
