Audie now has a thriving sports agency and is business partners with Conor McGregor on his out-of-the-octagon businesses including Proper Number 12, Tidl Sport, and the new Netflix Docuseries McGregor Forever and the remake of Roadhouse!

Dr. Juan Salinas Creator of Pnuff Crunch joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his career in sports science, nutrition, and creating a new snack category.

After starting to go to the gym in college to impress the girls on the Rutgers campus, Dr. Juan took a liking to his fitness journey. Understanding what was needed for the body to perform at the highest level, he went on to get his PhD in Food Science going to work on brands like Oreo, Trident, and Power Bar.

Once he had the opportunity to work with athletes on the Power Bar brand, Dr. Juan was able to continue moving down the path of actual nutrition and decided to create his own company where he focused on a snack food that was actually good for you! Pnuff Crunch was born and Dr. Juan went on to secure investment from Mark Cuban on Shark Tank!

Joe Delagrave joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his journey to becoming the Head Coach of USA Men's Rugby Wheelchair Team, winning multiple Paralympics, and what it was like transitioning from Division 2 Football to wheelchair rugby.

At 19 Joe suffered an unfortunate spinal cord injury which left him, at the time, paralyzed from the neck down. Joe went from a 6 6' tight end to sitting in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. While he went through some dark times, Joe made the best of his situation and started a new love in wheelchair rugby.

After countless hours improving his craft, Joe eventually went on to win 2 Paralympic medals for Team USA and was named team captain.

Joe is now the Head Coach of the USA Men's Rugby Team and uses his skills as an intelligent player to help out those around him.

With the injury, Joe has become an ambassador to Wings for Life, an organization dedicated to research for spinal cord injuries with their biggest event the Wings for Life World Run May 7th!

David Lindsay joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his career in sports and becoming a professional speaker.

David played professional Rugby before a couple of knee injuries forced him to retire from the sport. After a short period of time away from rugby, he was approached by an executive for a professional arm-wrestling league where, even with his short stature, he was able to show his ability in a sport dominated by oversized men. Unfortunately, David broke his arm during one of his matches which forced him to retire again.

He once again found himself looking for competition which led him into MMA where he could face athletes his size!

After realizing his desire to help others, he found he could accomplish this at a greater scale when speaking. David has created a keynote speaking business where he builds on the lessons he learned through sports to help the audience connect better with his content.

Justin Jacobson joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his career as an Entertainment, Esports, and Video Game Attorney. Growing up loving video games, Justin decided to take his career in law down the path of esports and video games well before it blew up. Realizing that there were very few qualified attorneys in the space he was able to carve out a niche for himself by learning about the people, brands, and decision-makers within esports and video games.

By already understanding the entertainment side of the law, Justin is able to help his clients from both sides of his business expand their brands, cross-pollinate into other areas of interest, and protect their business interests when it's the last thing they might care about.

To become an even bigger authority in the space Justin wrote "The Essential Guide to the Business & Law of Esports & Professional Video Gaming" and teaches as an adjunct professor at three different universities.

Dr. James Barnes joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his career as a professor, business consultant, and youth basketball coach.

While all of these things may not seem to have anything in common, Dr. Barnes is able to draw upon each area of expertise and utilize what he's learned in the other areas of his life.

Dr. Barnes has found a passion in the online marketing space that he's been able to help other businesses with through his tenure at Mississippi State and other universities along the way. He helps guide these small businesses to understand what their competition is doing that is working and educates them on why these tactics work within their industry.

Jeff has written 10 books, many of which you probably know, and we discuss where these ideas come from, how much work goes into each book, and some of his favorites.

Jeff is the writer of Showtime, which has been adapted by Adam McKay on HBO as the show Winning Time, and he explains how the process went to get here and what it's like to be a part of creating the show.

We also chat about why his books on crappy people don't sell as much, what it's like knocking on doors in Alabama, and why some stories are harder to tell than others.

He also has a podcast he does for fun (just like me) on a topic he loves a lot: writing.

Trevor Farnes joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss being the CEO of MNT OPS and how he's created a community around a product that works!

MTN OPS is a nutrition, performance, and supplement business that caters to outdoorsmen and women. Trevor had already created great products that improved many aspects of their customers' lives, they just needed a community to get it to. Realizing that the hunting and outdoor community was underserved, they decided to bring the product to them due to the opportunity and the fact that many of these users would align with their core values.

Through thoughtful community building, MTN OPS has been able to connect with a vast number of people to become a part of their lives daily.

Trevor has also helped install Operation Conquer Hunger, a way to give back to those who do not get the necessary amount of food to live a healthy life.

Anthony Dittmann joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss Omegaball, the sport he created, and how he's helping spread the word!

We first chat about his time at ESPN where he helped, and eventually directed, live events. Understanding what people want from an in-person event and how that will look to a TV audience is a balancing act that he's been able to use ever since.

We then jump into what Omegaball is, how he came up with it, and what he is doing to get more people to fall in love with his sports!

Omegaball is essentially soccer played on a round field that consists of 3 teams, 3 goals, and 1 ball. This allows for different rules, like no offsides, and constant action during the shorter game time.

Aswand Cruickshank joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss how football helped shape his life in many different facets.

Having the dream of playing D1, Aswand eventually got the opportunity when he committed to Stoney Brook University after an injury at his D2 school. While out with this injury he learned about the opportunities around him that had nothing to do with the sport, but could see ways to use these lessons to work for the NFL. Aswand worked for a gym while he watched others there create 6 figure incomes through sales of the gyms memberships and training programs.

Once back at school, he took a very entrepreneurial approach to the game..meaning he didn't want to be put into a box and told there was only one way to do something.

After his career was over, he went and worked back at these gyms selling memberships while working on a side hustle, Gym44. This eventually made Aswand broke and he had to build himself back up.

Through networking and trial/error, he was able to find out that he's a great speaker and motivator of others through his story and entrepreneurial spirit.

Aswand has 4 books that help different subsects of kids, a podcast that allows people to learn more about him and his thoughts, he works for a youth center to understand how he can greater help children, and crushes it on the speaking circuit!

John Fieldly, CEO of Celsius Fitness Drinks, joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss how Celsius has become a mainstay in the fitness drink space.

Celsius has risen to fame recently through the ability of the product to help athletes and fitness enthusiasts before and during their workouts. Initially looked at as a pre-workout beverage, Celcius is now being looked at closer as an energy drink with way better ingredients and flavors.

John helps break down how the product has been able to scale so efficiently, how they define their target market, and what they look for in a brand partner.

Timmy Gallagher joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his career in mental fitness, leadership, & performance coaching as well as his experience with Ironman races.

You could safely assume Timmy uses much of what he learns on the mental fitness side to help him perform at his highest level within the Ironman races.

We discussed how he started his mental fitness journey, the simple things each of us could start doing to get mentally tougher, and he was able to turn all of this into a career!

Dustin Gouker joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his career in journalism, marketing, and sports betting.

Steve Hiegel joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his career in the sports content creation space. 

Steve currently runs three websites where he discusses College Football, College Basketball, and US Soccer. All three are passions for him so he wanted to let some of it out through his opinions and ideas.

While keeping fans up to date on what's going on within each of these sports, he also has a mission to visit as many of the stadiums and arenas as he can to give fans an idea of what they'll be getting into when they show up for the games! He also dives deep into the analytics of each sport and some of the business topics happening around them

Steve is also working on an awesome sports viewing app that will tie in his proprietary analytics and sports betting!

Dan Taren joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his company Scrimmage and all the iterations to the idea and the product.

The original idea for a sports betting company came as a sports betting hedge fund where Dan and his team would take investors' money and place bets with it. Placing a multitude of bets, they believe this would reduce the inherent risk and allow them to make real money doing it. They found this to be possible, but the amount of effort and energy that went into a day's work ended up not being worth it in their eyes.

This allowed them to take the technology they built to be successful in betting and bring it to the people as a consumer-facing app. Little did they know, the competition was already ramping up in this space and they needed to pivot.

Scrimmage is now a retention tool for sportsbooks where each user receives a character within the game and by placing bets on your favorite sportsbooks, you receive tokens to upgrade your character, or even cash out for Amazon gift cards and prizes!

Jason Dennen joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his love of the outdoors and how that nearly ended his life.

Jason has always been active and even loves to push himself to the brink. He has finished multiple Ironman races and understands the discipline that goes into running these races.

He has also loved all things outdoors and was out skydiving one day when a gust of wind hit him at the worst possible time, throwing him right through a fence and an airplane hangar. This technically should have ended Jason's life due to the severity of the injuries and how it all happened, but thankfully it did not.

Jason then spent the next year recovering, rehabbing, and eventually ran a triathlon 364 days after his horrific accident, even after the doctors said he may never run again. Through this experience, Jason realized that he had more to give to society, and while speaking about his accident and how it changed his life, writing a book could potentially reach more people! He wrote "8 Days Till Sunrise" about how he was able to overcome all of the obstacles that were in his way and how life is a series of small things that add up to the biggest things possible!

Tyler Webb joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his career in marketing and content creation. Tyler got started in the social media game in high school where he was able to help grow a content-curation Twitter account that passed 150,000 followers.

During college he realized there was more opportunity for him to help businesses, so he started a freelance career of it. It eventually got to the point of starting a full-fledged business with his co-founder which became Uncle Charlie Marketing where they are currently helping Independent Baseball leagues with their social media and marketing. 

Tyler gives us a masterclass on how social media works, how to grow accounts, and what makes good content. We also discuss the nuances of Independent baseball, what makes it so great, and the Savannah Bananas!

Sam Karliner joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his Ironman experiences and how he turned running these races into a great cause.

Sam has completed 10 Ironman races over the last 12 years, and over that time he had a significant hip problem and a broken collarbone. Through his time on the racetrack he realized that while it's awesome that he has finished all these races, there was an opportunity to bring more light to causes he cares about.

Through adoption, Sam was able to create his family and he wanted more people to understand the great opportunity adoption could be. Now each time Sam races, he makes sure to raise money and awareness for Adoption through Forever Families Through Adoption. 

Dakota Crawford joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to chat about his career in journalism and athlete marketing. Dakota originally fell in love with the storytelling aspect of sports that brings athletes to life as real people.

Through his time at Indy Car and the NHL, he started to obtain more understanding of what makes the audience tick, and what can shed more light on the way athletes present themselves.

Now with MarketPryce, Dakota helps bring athletes and brands together to assist in the NIL opportunity. His eye for marketing and content has helped athletes get paid and brands become noticed.

Jack Adler joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss how he created his business Out2Win to help athletes with NIL opportunities.

Jack originally started his business helping facilitate deals for athletes but quickly realized there was a major opportunity to create more compelling content around these deals. 

Out2Win has expanded to help facilitate athletes with deals, deals with content, and brands to produce content for social as well! And he's doing all this while STILL in school.

Dakota Hunter joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his role in helping drivers find more opportunities off the track. Dakota first got his start while valeting cars and realizing who he was meeting daily. He eventually saw a name he knew at a business he liked and decided to take the man's name down and find him on LinkedIn and ask for an internship.

Dakota eventually started helping drivers with their media hits and helped coach them on how to be better on camera. Through meeting many people in the world of racing, he quickly became successful at this and took up a job as Aric Almirola's business manager.

He is now a very proven team member of True Speed Communication as he has found a multitude of partnerships for a number of drivers, but more importantly, was able to create a 360-degree approach when working with these partners to keep them coming back for more!

Taj Dashaun joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his football career, what he went through after it ended, and how he was able to pick himself up to help others do the same.

Taj played D1 football at Stoney Brook University and after he realized he wasn't going pro he fell into drinking and depression. Playing this sport and recognizing it as a significant piece of his personality for almost 20 years hurt when it was taken away.

Taj was able to pick himself up and get better at dealing with the end of his playing career, and once he did, he noticed many of his friends were going through the same thing.

This led Taj to become an Athlete Transition Coach where he helps athletes after their careers end cope with what comes next in life! Learn more about how Taj can help you or someone you know below.

David Woodley joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his background in content creation, ad sales, and driving revenue by giving the people what they want. David is a vet of the ad sales space working for The Onion back in the late 2000s. He then was the VP of Ad Sales at WatchMojo.com, a huge YouTube network that dives into all things pop culture.

He now resides as the President of Playermaker which is a sports media, talent & merchandise company with over 18 million followers, 50+ athletes and creators under management, and more than 30 shows on Snap Discover. Suffice to say, a sprawling sports business that creates revenue from multiple channels.

While content creation is at the core of the business, David and I also dive into the partnership and advertising side, all the other streams of revenue they are creating, and what getting into the sports betting space is like. And just for context, David finished in the money for the Circa Millions content.

Alex Van Alen joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss creating a sport called FlingGolf! As the name suggests it is golf but with a bit of a twist. Rather than going to a course and hitting a ball 100 times with multiple different clubs, you have a FlingStick and throw the ball down the course.

This allows younger athletes or people like myself who get frustrated from the sport very quickly, to still enjoy everything golf has to offer!

Not only has Alex created the sport and the FlingStick, he is also in the process of creating a FlingGolf tour that will allow some of the Pro Players to compete with each other for a prize pool. 

Tanner Maddocks joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his company, Athlete Squared, and how they are helping student-athletes with NIL opportunities.

Tanner is an athlete himself, earning a spot on the University of Villanova football team with a chance to compete for the QB1 spot. 

While in school and playing football, Tanner has started up Athlete Squared, a platform that allows athletes to upload content of training videos to show other athletes what they are doing and how to do it. Users then get the opportunity to pay these athletes directly for their videos. Younger athletes looking to gain an edge would use Athlete Squared to work out like the best in the business and improve their skill sets.

Scott Stokely joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his career in disc golf and how it has led him to places he never thought before! Scott was one of the original disc golfers, making it up to #2 in the world when the sport only had 500,000 to 1 million people playing it. Not only was he one of the best in the game, but he was also one of the few who could make a full-time living from playing and promoting the sport he loved.

He realized out of the gate that there were many things he could do from a branding standpoint to allow him to make money from sponsorships and merchandising that could give him a prosperous life. 

Fast forward to today and while Scott's skills aren't in the top 10, he is still one of the highest earners in the sport. Through his social media, he has been able to create multiple businesses that revolve around the sport to allow him to travel the world while making money! Scott has camps that he conducts all around the globe, he has online courses where he teaches new players, he has a book, his own set of discs, and even his own barbeque sauce! ;)

Darryl Haberman joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his content career starting in 1999 (!!!) and how he continues learning in the space.

Darryl spent over 2 decades at the #NHL helping their digital footprint grow and eventually helping the athletes themselves with their brands. 

This has allowed him to network and find the right people and brands to make his new business, Haberman Consulting, successful. Darryl helps startups in the sports world find new and interesting ways to successfully promote their products through any digital means necessary.

Malcolm Lemmons joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his unique path in the business space and his thirst for always trying to find what he loves. This is the third time Malcolm has come on the show and each time we've had a different discussion. Malcolm is open and honest with us on why he decided to shift his business focus from time to time and how that has benefited him now with his new business.

Sean grew up in Vegas, giving him a unique perspective on the industry he was constantly around. When others would come to visit for a weekend to live it up, it was just another day to Sean.

He started his career with Caesars Entertainment where he climbed the corporate ladder from intern to managing a piece of their Antimoney laundering department.

Sean currently works as the Director of Business Development from Kinectify, where they have an out-of-the-box solution to help sports betting, gaming, and igaming companies better tackle their AML problem.s

Ben Truman joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his company Media Troopers and where they fit in the sports betting/iGaming space.

Ben is a veteran of the industry originally starting over in the UK and Europe before pivoting to the US after the repeal of PASPA in 2018. Media Troopers works as an affiliate to the sports books helping them sign up clients and bring more bettors their way. 

Through his time in the industry over multiple continents, Ben has already seen the maturing of markets and doesn't believe we're in for a consolidation of books, just ones that are smarter with how they get to their goals!

Ish Tanyeri joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss her time helping spread the stories of Paralympic athletes.

Ish first got caught by the Paralympic movement when she was learning more about wheelchair basketball and how it is huge in certain parts of the country. This led to her falling in love with the athletes and people that surround the sports and diving deeper into their stories.

She had the opportunity to be a journalist for the Rio Games where she was able to meet top-tier Paralympic athletes from all around the world. She used this as fuel to start helping them in an agent-type fashion to bring them money and share their stories to inspire others.

Messiah Bright joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss her life in soccer and what it's like playing at the collegiate and national levels.

Messiah has been on the TCU Women's Soccer team since 2018 and has earned many accolades including First Team All-Big 12, Academic First Team All-Big 12, Freshman of the Year, and more! She lets us in on what the 2020 COVID year was like and how she was able to stay focused. We discussed what her call-ups to the U23 USWNT meant to her and what it was like playing with so many other incredible athletes.

Since NIL has become a massive piece of all college sports, she gives us insight into what it was like when the rule was struck down and how she has been able to find deals, including one with TIAA!

Evan Shirreffs of PPL Strategy joins Michael Rasile of For the Love of Sports to discuss the recent disappointments in the crypto space and how they may affect the sports landscape for the positive and negative.

With the recent bankruptcy of FTX, one of the world's largest crypto exchanges, Evan dives into what happened, why it wasn't a 'crypto problem' and more of a people problem, and how we can look for warning signs moving forward. FTX was not the only culprit of recent note, crypto.com and Voyager Digital also recently had some hiccups that can have long last effects on the sports they work with.

We also look at how the blockchain could help improve recent fiascos like Ticketmaster being the worst, and ways that while this is a negative now, it could be a major step forward soon.

David Fales joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss his 7 year NFL career, the ups and downs that come with it, and the inevitable end. David was open and honest during the conversation about all the great things that happened, the people that helped along the way, and what he was able to learn during his career. He also discussed the difficulty of having it end on someone else's terms and the uncomfortable nature of not knowing what to do next.

From a young age, Jason realized he had a knack for design and this came to fruition when he was 14 speaking with the CEO of Footlocker showing the designs he believed they should be selling in their stores.

Through his tenacity, Jason also decided he wanted to be the ball boy of the Chicago Bulls during Michael's second 3-peat. While there he saw that not only did they have the most talent, but that the Bulls outworked everyone on a nightly basis, something he still uses to this day.

Through his time helping people understand their finances better, he met former NFL player Jonathan Scott. After their developed a relationship, Rob and Jonathan put together the idea for a book that young and old athletes could learn from. This book eventually become "The Winning Playbook" which has expanded further than just helping athletes, to helping anyone understand their finances more.

The idea for the book came to be when Rob taught Jonathan more about his fincances than the person who was currently handling them! By helping athletes from a young age with financial empowerment, more athletes have the opportunity to be successful during their playing careers, but more importantly, after.

Chris Cason joins Michael Rasile on For the Love of Sports to discuss how he got into writing about athletes, celebrities, and entertainers.

Chris got his start on the beat for his favorite basketball team, the Chicago Bulls. He hustled his way into the position and did so while working a full-time job and finishing school. Chris was able to see how most beat writers are saying the same things, so he added personality to his writing - his and the athletes.

Over time, he realized his passion sat with stories about athletes rather than a game recap, which led him down the path of content specifically about what the athletes are doing, thinking, and handling themselves.
