Patience and the Wait In-Between

Patience is a virtue...until we have to wait.

In this episode, we talk about the details of what it means to wait on God: patience. As we share past and current life circumstances, we are talking about what that waiting process looks like and how God uses that time in between the closed door and open window to refine and grow us.

What is it that you're currently waiting for? Listen in to discover why you may be in the waiting season of your life, what He wants you to do in the interim, and things you should be watchful for in this space.

Networking is one of those things that we do to try to with the intention of advancing business ventures. Let's talk about changing that mindset a little...because networking opportunities can be used for advancing the Kingdom too!

Just as you want to be equally yoked with a relationship/marriage partner, deciding who to be connected to in business matters has implications too.

Join us in this episode as we talk about how to strategically network, how to make it less awkward, and why it's so important in continuing in ministry.

E22 | Am I In An Abusive Relationship?

Have you - or someone you know - ever been in an abusive relationship? It happens more than you might think. More often than not, for a myriad of reasons, there are signs that we overlook or ignore that tell us the real story about what is going on.

In this episode, we are joined by Dr. Malaika Brown (Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/drmalaikaspeaks) to discuss:

-How to recognize emotionally or physically abusive situations

-What "red flags" to be on the watch for

- How manipulation can be a form of abuse

-What to do if you're in an abusive relationship

-How God intends for people to be treated in relationships/marriages. As Dr. Brown mentions in the episode, spouses are supposed to submit to each other. Read more about what that looks like here: https://beingyoked.com/submission-fragrance-men/

We also talk about the work of Leslie Vernick, who is guiding Kingdom conversations as they deal with Emotionally Destructive Relationships. Post-Election Church Work

Post-Election Church Work

The 46th President of the United States has been declared. And while this is a victory for more than half the country, there are many who proclaim to be Christians who are not happy with the election results. But whatever side of the political aisle you fall on, we have work to do. Those of us who are determined to live lives that show the rest of the world who Jesus really is, we have work to do. It's time for the Church to be the Church.

Leaving A Legacy By Walking In Your Purpose: Remembering Chadwick Boseman

Leaving A Legacy By Walking In Your Purpose: Remembering Chadwick Boseman

What is your legacy?

The world lost acting great, Chadwick Boseman, on August 28, 2020. We had the honor to know him as Prince T'Challa, Jackie Robinson, Thurgood Marshall, James Brown, and so many more characters. Kids at St. Jude knew him as a real-life superhero who cared about them and wanted them to get better. In retrospect, we discovered that he was a real warrior and that he was fighting battles that none of us knew about.

In all of the roles he played, his greatest role was as a child of the true King, who lived out his purpose, glorifying God, and edifying the world in the time that he was given.

In this episode, we honor the talents that he shared with the world and the lessons and legacy that he left for the rest of us.
