FPSENA Meeting: March 19, 2024
In this meeting we heard updates on the Tower Grove Connector Phase 2 plans and heard from Alderman Browning, Neighborhood Improvement Specialist Ron Coleman, and shared updates on upcoming events and the Community Open House for NorthPoint's apartments.

In this meeting we had guest speakers from Neighborhood Foresters talk about how catch, curb and correct trees before they're labeled a hazard, and held a discussion on the St. Louis Strategic Land Use Plan. FPSENA Meeting: November 21, 2023
This month's meeting includes elections for the 2024 Board, a preview of "Townhomes on Tower Grove" - 28-unit townhome project at the corner of Vista and Tower Grove, Tre Prothro presenting City updates and resources, and PSAs on oportunties to provide feedback to shape our City's future: MoDOT's Manchester/Chouteau Safety Improvement public meeting, SLUP survey, and Rams Settlement Money prioritization.

In this meeting we finalized nominations for 2024 Board elections and had Samantha Lee Smugala talk about Pocketparks.

In this meeting we hear from Midtown Community Services and from Vince Parisi on congestion pricing.

In this meeting we hear from Trailnet on the progress of the Tower Grove-Cortex Connector and City of St. Louis Treasurer Adam Layne on the re-launch of the existing Parking Districts.

In this month's meeting we had guest speaker Dexter Silver talk about his art, Michael Dauphin from St. Louis City Assessor's office present on assessed real property and personal property taxes and assessed values, Alderman Browning provide board bill updates and action taken on the buildings along Kingshighway, and shared upcoming neighborhood events.

This month we had Second District Captain Daniel Zarrick talk about crime & safety throughout the neighborhood and the City, Ward 9 updates from Aldermen Browning, shared upcoming events, and held a short discussion on neighborhood infrastructure experiences.

In our April meeting we discussed a variety of opportunities to be involve in the neighborhood through committees and upcoming events, and had guest speakers present on Future64, a transportation study and project within the central corridor of St. Louis.

In our March meeting, we motioned to approve last month's bylaw changes, 2022 events, call for Dog Park Committee members and availability of Chouteau Garden beds, the and revival of the Infrastructure Committee.
FPSENA Meeting: February 15, 2022
February was a busy month! Discussions and updates included:
- Alderwoman Pihl on ward business and development
- The Tower Grove – Cortex Connector Phase II, the portion that will run along Vandeventer and through FPSE along Sarah St
- A short presentation from Jami Cox of Reform St. Louis (Prop R), a ballot measure concerning redistricting and conflicts of interest on the Board of Aldermen, which will be on the ballot this Spring
- Block Captains - an effort to restart the Block Captain program to improve communication and foster community in our neighborhoods
- The Board is looking at becoming a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization in order to make your donations go farther and provide additional benefits to you or your organization
- Bylaw changes - We have heard from our members and the desire for the Association to be a better voice for the community. We will be discussing changes to the Association's bylaws that will allow us to serve and represent you better
- Call for Dog Park Committee members - The dog park in Chouteau Park has openings for its committee.

In our first meeting of 2022, we have Alderwoman Pihl with Ward 17 updates, Park Central Development sharing info about their Stay in Place Program, a live poll on the Steinberg Rink Development Project, and discuss how the Association can better serve the community.

In October 2021 the FPSE Neighborhood Association hosted a meeting for Lux Living to respond to community feedback on the 144 unit apartment proposal. After the meeting, the Association hosted a community discussion for residents to voice their thoughts and opinions.

July's meeting included updates from our Neighborhood Improvement Specialist, Ron Coleman, an introduction about a neighborhood data reporting program from Tim Callahan, the City's Geographic Information System Manager, and Cara Spencer took questions about the airport privatization.

June's meeting included the neighborhood crime report and presentations from Great Rivers Greenway on the Brickline Greenway, and from TrailNet on the latest about the Tower Grove - Cortext Connector project.

May's meeting included the neighborhood crime report, information about the neighborhood's two patrol services: Campbell Security and The City's Finest, updates to Green Street's projects, Park Central's Home Repair Committee, Drury, National Night Out, and a scheduled clean up event.

In this month's meeting, discussions and updates included the neighborhood crime report, COVID updates from the City, status of Drury discussions, information on a medical marijuana dispensary in FPSE at 4108 Manchester, and guest speaker Viki Englund: Nominee for Missouri State Treasurer.

Discussions included the January crime report, a call for treasurer nominations, a call for volunteers to join the Hospitality Committee, Chouteau Park updates, Cortex-Tower Grove Connector Project plans, requested reforms to the FPSE Development Committee, and Drury updates.
FPSENA Meeting: January 2020
The Association conducted two workshops for residents to continue December's discussions about the neighborhood and Drury's proposed community engagement process for possible redevelopment along the western edge of the neighborhood and Kingshighway. Officer Ed Slade gave a crime report, the Infrastructure Committee shared info on the Cortex-Tower connector project and Chouteau Playground, and the Board looks to conduct voting in February to approve a Code-of-Conduct in the by-laws and a change in membership dues.
FPSENA Meeting: December 2019
Drury and H3 discussed the opportunity, assumptions and approach for planning a community & development review process for possible projects along the South Kingshighway Frontage. The community Q&A followed the presentation.

Vince Chewning gives us an update on Chouteau Park, Officer Ed Slade provides the monthly crime report, the 2020 Board is voted upon and announced, the Board puts forward a proposal for a sliding scale for member dues, the Board introduces a proposal for a Code of Conduct, and a resident shares an update on Drury redevelopment plans along the edge of Kingshighway.
