Bringing home a hero
For the final episode of the year, the FORSCOM Frontline Podcast shares the homecoming story of Chaplain Emil Kapaun – a Veteran of the Korean War and Medal of Honor recipient. Joining in the conversation is Chaplain (Col.) Rajmund Kopec, FORSCOM Chaplain, who also served as special escort to Kapaun’s remains. As special escort, Kapaun represented the Army and the Chief of Chaplains, provided support to the family and the escort officer and lastly, served as the chaplain for the ramp ceremonies at each airport.
