Damn. Microsoft announced so many games at their E3 press conference, as well as more details on the Project Scorpio, now known as the Xbox One X (ugh, terrible). Will this make Rhoades buy an Xbox? (Probably not). Plus, we saw more about Anthem. We talk about it all.

(Note: We discussed this before we realized the developer of The Last Light supported GamerGate and tweeted sexist stuff in the past. FOTG and Infinite Dogs do not condone the harassment and attitudes bred from GamerGate. It was a harassment campaign, nothing else.)

The boys got together to react to EA’s #EAPlay press conference, where they introduced Bioware’s Anthem (more on that at Microsoft’s press conference today), showed off Star Wars Battlefront II, and gave us a taste of A Way Out. Also: sports.

We're all about that E3 baby! We get together to discuss E3 2017, our favorite E3 memories, what we posted about on Facebook in 2008, as well as what we've been playing!

Will Far Cry 5 be able to tackle its subject matter without sticking its foot in its mouth? Are the Divine Beasts in Breath of the Wild good? Why did Rhoades play The Order: 1866? How's Overwatch these days?

The Project Rap Rabbit Kickstarter has us a little skeptical, as does Destiny 2. That doesn't keep us from speculating a whole bunch. Plus we talk about our continued adventures in Zelda, Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, Return of Obra Dinn, Prey and Thumper.

Every once in a while we get weirdly tired of playing videogames, which is bad because we host a show dedicated to videogames. What do we do when we feel exhausted by the very idea of picking up a controller, and what are some good games to play to get back into it? Ah yes, the big game! What a rousing display of physical ability. Very good. We talk about the highlights from yesterday's big game, as well as how Nintendo is doing pretty well with that there mobile strategy! Rhoades has more Hitman stories, Brian dumped WoW (not really), and Mikey is rolling for cute anime fighters.

Rhoades spent like 30 minutes trying to come up with a Resident Evil 7/Donald Trump parallel but couldn't. Suffice to say it would have gone something like: Which is the real resident evil, the game... or America? Wow. Very insightful and spooky.

Anyway, this episode is heavy on politics partway through. We are... unhappy with the current administration and used this episode to air our grievances. We do talk a lot about Resident Evil 7, Hitman, 2064: ROM, Kingdom Hearts and more.

Hey readers, it's Rhoades. I'm out this week, marching in DC. That leaves Mikey and Brian to talk about... well... tbh I didn't listen, so we'll find out together. I assume only very nice things.

George Berry (@strifedarko) joins us today all the way from the UK! George is a developer (producer?) at Team Woodsalt, where he and a small group of devs are making Sonder.

We learn about Sonder, then talk about the Nintendo Switch, Kingdom Hearts, Titanfall 2 (again), Hidden my game by mom!, and a few other games. Also, we get an update about Brian's journey through Dark Souls.

Today, we wax nostalgic on a few "older" games, namely Kingdom Hearts, Dark Souls, The World Ends With You and Bayonetta. Weirdly enough, there's some sort of thread between all of those, which let us discuss how far games, systems and storytelling have come since the PS2-era. We also spend a fair amount of time talking about DOOM (2016). It's a good ep, y'all.

We all joined around an actual table this week, for the very first episode where we're all in the same room. The holiday season has us talking about what we want from the Nintendo Switch, a new Assassin's Creed, as well as The Surge, a follow-up to Lords of the Fallen. After that, we talk about the late Carrie Fisher and the ways in which we enjoy Star Wars.

We're preoccupied boys, so we missed last week (sorry!). We're back for the final episode of 2016 to talk about games, video games, video games, video games and video games. We're a little torn on Super Mario Run and it's always-online requirement (and its silly friend codes), but we still find time to celebrate our love for Overwatch, Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, Song of the Deep, Steamworld Heist and more!
