The Village Lady Podcast with Frances Robin
By Frances Robin
The goal is to empower women to take bold and courageous steps to live intentionally. To rid ourselves of perfectionist standards, embrace the lessons in failure, launch or relaunch at any age without fear, and regain our stories, voices, identities, and sense of self.

How Did I Get Here: Arriving and Departing
This episode captures the transitions and adjustments I needed to make to adjust to our new life and new identity. We also created a pattern of arriving and departing to fill a gap that had been created when we moved from Dominica to the United States.
How Did I Get Here - Grief and Loss
A reflection of my grandmother's love. She showed me how to serve others. How to appreciate and love people. She taught me to love everything about myself. Some of the lessons I had to remember as I had diminished their importance at periods throughout my life. She showed me the ridiculousness of unattainable expectations. This episode is a recollection of the goodness of a love that I was able to let go to transition into her next assignment. As you listen to this episode think about who has had a profound impact on you and how have you grieved the loss. Have you grieved at all? Do you need to grieve? Listen, reflect and grow.
My grandmother and I have been separated by death but forever connected through love. Take a list and reflect on your own life.
How Did I Get Here: What Steps Have You Taken and Who Was Helped You to Embrace Your Whole Self?
In this season of encouraging women to embrace their whole self, I have started season three with a series of story telling episodes to answer the question, "how did I get here?" and to answer an even bigger question, how did you get here and who was instrumental in helping you get to "here?" Enjoy this episode. I hope it inspires you to tell your own story.
