On the road for 2 1/2 years in a motorhome to spread the solution focused message "part 1"

Dominik Godat and Elfie Czerny traveled through Europe, North-America and Canada to talk with everyone who is interested in the solution focused way of thinking. They spread the solution focused approach through Univerisities, organisations and with messages on their motorhome called "Hearthy"

They use the solution focused way of thinking in their personal lifes and talk about how it changed them.

We talk about why they decided to take this adventure.

Dominik and Elfie like to put aspects of the theory in a game that they call: solution ping pong. You can learn here how to play it and improve some aspects of your life with it.

We talk about how the solution focused approach can give you a refreshing way of looking at life, living close to your personal values.

Borderline personality disorder or "difficult people?"

Borderline personality disorder or "difficult people?"

I speak in this episode with psychologist, solution focused therapist and a teacher of mine: Geert Lefevre on the subject: difficult people?

We talk about Linehans theory, the basic attitude, the role of hope, how to deal with crisis and many other subjects as the tool "allertness" and emotion regulation.

Geert gives a refreshing view on the subject and teaches me again the extreme big importance of connection for these cliënts.

Psychological first aid: training non-professionals to recognise and support traumatized persons

Psychological first aid: training non-professionals to recognise and support traumatized persons

This episode is how to recognize and give help to a person who just got traumatized. I talk wit Barbara Pelkmann and Nadine Lyamouri Bajja about the differences between a traumatized person that is overactivated (hyperarousal) or underactivated (hypoarousal) and what you can do for those people as a non-professional.

If you like this episode, please give it a score and tell it further to others. That would mean a lot to me!
