America Needs Less Socialism And More Sowell
Thomas Sowell is one of the greatest economists of our time. His research and writings should be required reading in every school in America, but unfortunately, most high school and college aged people have not heard of him, much less read his work. Episode 16 with Charles Billingsley: Is Worship Essential?
Before the church or a steeple, there was always a people of God. That God had made for the explicit purpose of worship. God raised up Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in order to make a nation of priests and a royal priesthood. A people for himself. He called them Israel. He instructed Moses to tell Pharaoh to let my people go so they may worship me in the desert.   Today religious freedom is under assault. In ways that we would not have predicted in America with the advent of the Covid-19 quarantine. Progressivism is not a political movement. It's a religious one. It has its own creation mythos in darwinism. It has its own ecclesiastical authority in the state and its own sacraments of abortion and redefinition of morality. It is the primary vehicle that is vying for the hearts and minds of the American people.   A spirit of the age has to be confronted. This new marxist "wokism" reformation must be dealt with.  GK Chesterton once said “Once abolish the God and the government becomes the God.”  Tune in now for a compelling interview with Steve Deace on the state of America.

Brat Pac Ep. 5 with Justin Danhof: How Asset Management Firms are Driving Corporate America Left
Justin Danhoff is the General Counsel for the National Center for Public Policy Research and the Director of the Center's Free Enterprise Project. The Free Enterprise Project is the shareholder activist for the conservative movement. The left has 80-100 groups that are operating to move corporate America to the cultural left.   Blackrock and its CEO, Larry Fink, among others, are supporting liberal ESG (Environment/Social/Governance) initiatives demanding companies align their policies with the Paris Climate Accord and investing in China with a far worse ESG record.   Everyone thinks about political elections in November and how they shape our nation and future. However, votes on corporate proxy statements have just as much ability if not more to change the culture. You don't have to change the laws to change culture.  If you can change the way corporations operate, you've already succeeded. If you can get 10 leading firms in any industry to go along with liberal goals, the rest will follow. It's way faster than the legal process and more effective.
