She is proud to be one of only 50 CEOs in the US leading a company that is double-certified as a Disability-Owned (DOBE) and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE). Wet Cement’s approach is informed by proprietary research, led by behavioral scientists from Wharton, to understand what fears hold people back professionally, and how that differs by gender.  These findings are coupled with a comprehensive analysis of academic literature over the past 75 years and proprietary diagnostic tools that assess your team’s strengths and weaknesses, so every program is customized to your business needs.  Every program focuses on their five Fearless Fundamentals: Confidence, Communication, Control, Connections and Courage.  In addition to their core “Fearless Strategies for Professional Growth” Program, they offer a “Fearless Growth: Sales Edition” and “Fearless Growth: Advance Women at Work Edition.” What truly differentiates their full-service training, coaching and consulting programs is Jenn’s unique experience, that informs all of their curriculum and methods.  Before launching Wet Cement in 2017, she spent 20+ years leading sales, strategy and marketing for tech and digital media companies… including Verizon Media/AOL, WebMD, Yahoo and pwc.  She built in-house Women’s Leadership initiatives and championed ground-breaking programming while serving on the Boards of industry associations. Wonder Woman in Business, Eileen Scully
In Eileen’s own words… In my 20+ years working in and around the research and advisory field, I’ve worked with and for an impressive list of companies and clients, In doing so, I’ve learned from some of the smartest leaders anyone could ever hope to know and witnessed first-hand the growth of a dynamic and fascinating industry. I’ve also had the good fortune to work beside some great leaders and some fantastic mentors.  It is from these individuals that my passion for strengthening the roles women can play in each other’s success grew.  As women, not only are the demands on our professional lives extending but as our personal lives are continuing to flourish, I believe we need to move closer to a business culture that appropriately supports both.  We need to help each other get to a place where the work/family debate is behind us. "Stories about women who have succeeded are great and necessary — but I want to tell the stories about why we can’t stop there — why we need to use that platform to make the journey easier for the next ones." In June of 2016, I was honored to be invited by the Obama White House to participate in the United State of Women, one of five thousand global advocates for women and girls. My summary report can be found here. In November of 2017 and again in November of 2018, I was named one of Irish America Magazine's Business 100 honorees. In August of 2018, I keynoted the IEEE's first Women's event in Tunisia. In September of 2018, I was invited to go back to Tunisia to give my first TEDx talk in Sfax, Tunisia. In March of 2019, I spoke at the ArabWIC (Women in Computing) conference in Rabat, Morocco on International Women's Day. In April of 2019, I was named to Irish Echo's Community Champions. And in September of 2019, my first book was published. You are welcome to review my professional credentials here.

Wonder Woman in Business, Madeline Jhawar
Madeline Jhawar is the founder and owner of Italy Beyond the Obvious and has been creating custom Italy vacations for curious travelers for over a decade. After living in Italy for 5 years and working as a tour guide leading week-long hiking and biking trips, Madeline received constant requests from friends and family to help with their Italy vacations. After a decade of this, in 2008, Madeline founded Italy Beyond the Obvious. However, clients would return from their incredible Italy vacations and ask Madeline: "who else does what you do for other countries?". At the same time, destination experts reached out asking her to teach them how to set up an online travel business. She researched online travel education programs and saw a gap in the market. So in 2019, Madeline and her partner Devin launched the Travel Beyond the Obvious course, which trains destination experts how to create an online travel business. Madeline lives in the San Francisco Bay area with her husband and two teenage children.

Ally in our Fight for Equity, Josh Becker
Josh Becker’s early career was defined by service both in El Salvador, where he spent six months working with refugees fleeing violence and in Washington DC where he served as press secretary for Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky. After his stint in Washington Josh moved to California and enrolled in Stanford where he earned a joint MBA/JD. Josh has released a comprehensive plan to combat climate change, by far the most comprehensive proposal of any candidate for this office. These proposals include; achieving carbon neutrality in state government agencies by 2030, paying farmers to sequester carbon, and a prize for breakthrough inventions in clean technology. He has earned the endorsements of the Sierra Club and League of Conservation Voters. Josh believes healthcare is a human right and that single-payer must be our north star. This is a generational challenge that we can and must meet. Josh is a leader in education advocacy, having served on the San Mateo County Childcare partnership council and on the UC Merced board of trustees. He is also a public-school parent in Menlo Park. This district has more than its share of pioneering non-profits, successful and influential businesses, and world-class educational institutions. Josh’s 30 years of leadership in these sectors, make him ideally suited to bring the best ideas from each of them to Government. Josh will fight for smart, transit-oriented growth. Local control must include local responsibility for the region we all share. If we can't do a better job of addressing this issue, we face a lost generation of middle-class residents, communities without nurses, teachers, and first responders. In 2016 Josh’s work on education, the environment, and income equality was recognized with a Jefferson Award for Public Service, earning him praise from Michelle Obama and CBS News. Josh is a founder of the Full Circle Fund, an organization which has raised more than $10 million and has supported more than 50 organizations pursuing innovation in energy, education, affordable housing and tech training.

Wonder Woman in Business, Sam McKenna
Samantha McKenna had her first exposure to competitive "sales" in sixth grade when my school was asked to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Knocking door to door and delivering a pitch was the start of my education; I still have the portable TV that I won for second place that reminds me to never take my foot off the gas so our teams can place first. I’ve spent my career in sales doing a few things – breaking records, putting others first, creating global sales programs that reduce attrition, educating through peer interaction, onboarding new hires faster and making people feel valued. I’ve launched new verticals, have overseen the go-to-market strategy for some of the most successful initiatives in company history and have put in processes across businesses that redefine how each company works and succeeds. In my latest project, I am committed to doing what I am most passionate about – making the largest positive impact possible. As the founder of #samsales Consulting, I split my time two ways: • Advising a portfolio of Series A-C SaaS companies on their overall strategy with respect to sales, marketing and financials. • Coaching sales and marketing across all company sizes on how to better develop processes and operationalize in modern ways. As a sales leader, I believe a few core principles - coach in moment with radical candor, elevate our bars beyond what we think we can achieve, compassion and empathy are rare but key to leadership, be able to sell the product your teams are selling, grammar counts, the sale isn't over once we get signature, do the small things that no one else thinks to do, don't pitch - have a conversation, and positioning + value is everything. Who am I, otherwise - Overly enthusiastic, speaker, fulfilled by helping others succeed, strategic thinker, volunteer to support financial literacy, dog lover, Swiss Miss, die hard competitor, writer, Barefoot Contessa fan, former Nickelodeon game show contestant, OrangeTheory devottee, wanderlust'er, podcaster, extrovert, voracious reader, self-deprecating humor expert and willing to walk through fire to make you laugh.
