Live Streaming Conversation with Trask Snow aka DJ Imiko
On this episode of the From the 1st Drop Podcast Bear Cole welcomes Trask Snow for a conversation about Live Streaming. What it means to the music industry, why it has become so important after COVID-19, and how you can utilize it efficiently as an independent Musician or DJ. Trask Snow aka Imiko recently threw a live stream festival call Gimme Shelter to help raise funds to help the Homeless during the pandemic. It was also raising funds to help the bands, musicians, and DJ's that performed. Many of whom have been completely out of work since COVID-19 hit.  The festival ended up having over 20 acts and bands perform, and this huge undertaking gives Trask and his company Trask Media LLC. a great view of what it takes to create a successful Livestream event. Check out 1stDropMusic.com for more, and keep an eye open for more of these podcasts aimed at musical expression, music business, independent artist success, DJ business, and music production. Independent Music Distribution
The first two episodes of this podcast were originally run under The Grab Bag Podcast with Bear Cole as the name. There is information in this 1st episode about that. However, after researching the name it appears even though there were no other podcasts titled The Grab Bag when Bear originally started using the name, now there are a ton. For that reason he decided to change the name. Rather than redo everything, he decided to leave the first two episodes as is, since the still have some great information about the show, and for independent musicians. Sorry for the confusion, but hope you still get some good info.
