The FT Podcast

On the week's podcast I congratulate the graduates of 2020, and also shoutouts to the dads for Father's Day and basically shoutout to anybody celebrating anything during this last month since the last podcast.  I go back to last year again just detailing some of the moments I last had with the FT as during this time last year my mom and I were taking care of him at home and this was the last month the FT was with us at home as he would be hospitalized for the remainder of his time with us.  The interview for this week is with the Tufele brothers also out of the Las Vegas area and it was a good time just getting to know them better and also seeing all the amazing things they are building with their podcast, youtube channel, brand and lots more to come.  You can find them on IG @tufblockpodcast and the Tufele brothers @tufele_ and @monikkz_

On this week's episode I reflect on taking care of The FT during his final days as I look back at this point one year ago when he became paralyzed.  But through all that I also look at all the things Im thankful for during that time.

On this episode, I have a lovely conversation with 3 Tongan sisters who decided to start a podcast as be sisters, to spend time, get to know each other on a deeper level, and also improve their own lives and thoughts in the process.  They share a love for K-Pop that inspires all of them in different ways but also brings them together. Episode 7, since its the main thing thats currently happening in the world upon publication, I briefly talk about COVID-19 and a quick story about The FT and then you guys get an interview with Johnny Valenz from The Johnny Valenz Show.  I finally have my first guest from the LGBTQ Polynesian podcast community on the show.  Its a super long episode, and I ask a ton of questions, and we tell a lot of random stories, thank you if you make it all the way through.

On this episode I get to have a candid conversation with my sister Tima as we talk about her podcast Tima Talks.  We talk about a variety of subjects like family history, where she grew up, how she started following her passion of talking with people and podcasting and other random subjects like movies and tv shows.  

On this episode I interview my long lost brother DJ Hen and his wife Tala from the Growin Samoan podcast.  Its quite uncanny how much I have in common with this couple and the fact that the Western Washington Polynesian community is so big yet so small when it comes to meeting people for the first time yet you know all the same people.  Growin Samoan's podcast is about growin on so many different levels, growin as an individual, as a couple, as a family, in life, financially, as a community in so many ways and Im honored to have any guests on my show and I'm honored to have these 2 on focusing on financial wellness, something that are community can really use.  To be quite frank, financial education is something everyone can use, but to have a mission to help those that may be struggling with this, is something that is very commendable and I'm glad that we have their podcast to help us all.
